We went late at night so our donuts selections were limited but all 3 were still very delicious! They also serve alcohol and I can't think of a better combo than a cocktail and donuts the worker was very nice and service was efficient. They give you the donut right way while they make your drink. The restaurant has fun decor and it gives the vibe of being outside while inside. There's advertisements of fun themes so I'm excited to back and try one of the themed donuts. I am sad I missed the Taylor swift themed donuts they had in honor of Taylor and Travis's wedding. I hope they have a Taylor swift theme again!
Donuts from here never disappoint! I've gone a few times now and the quality is always consistent. Their donuts are soft and fluffy. It's exactly how I want the base of my donut to be - it would taste amazing plain. And their vegan donuts are so good! The coffee is nice too - which is something I can appreciate. I also love how their donut menu is always changing. They might put a lot of focus on the aesthetics of the donuts - but it doesn't interfere with the quality. And I love that they don't overload the toppings on the donuts. The atmosphere of the place is great. It's a nice place to sit down in and enjoy your coffee & donut. And the staff has always been pleasant and helpful. My only nitpicky downside is that the donuts are soooo big! Not a huge problem, but I do wish they had some that are normal sized. All in all, I've never been disappointed by this place. Overall rating: 4.9/5 stars
Nice variety of donuts, some classics and some unique choices. Service was fast and efficient. Nice selection of drinks: alcoholic and non-alcoholic. Cute decor, beachy theme (with very liberal signage). Definitely worth a trip if in the area. First time I ever had a beer and donut.
Brewnuts is truly an essential Cleveland business. They have the best donuts around and also have strong ethics and stand for what is right. I love being an Instagram follower, and also all of their theme days. We got the dozen donuts for the Taylor Swift documentary release, and they were ALL delish. Will definitely be returning ASAP. All the employees are so friendly and I love the vibe of the restaurant.
I was extremely excited by the prospect of old fashioned large round donuts (not old fashioned sourdough but old fashioned size) being sold out of a bar near where we were shopping in Ohio City during the Christmas rush that we ran over to get them. Refreshing flavors, a fun atmosphere, and attentive hosts made me sure that the donuts would be spectacular. But...this was a miss for us. The original glaze was good but not great. The flavors were a huge miss and the sugar components for the flavor were not complex. While the donuts were largely flouted as vegan the chemicals used in the sugaring process were very present and the entire batch screamed almond paste as a binder. The size and donut composition were fantastic, but trying to emulate the hostess xmas tree flavor, the mint donut or the three or four other flavors that we tried just fell flat. We'll try again to try and salvage a better review.
I LOVE Brew Nuts. The donuts are never short of amazing and the staff is always friendly and efficient. The location is clean, welcoming, and easy to get to. The owners seem to stay involved in the community and do a lot of event nights. Highly recommend!
Quick coffee/ donut spot that also serves beer. The donuts had unique flavor offerings and the shop was very welcoming. This spot is an awesome place to hangout.
I was excited to try this place but was very disappointed not only with the food but also the service. The Donuts were pretty dry and lacked flavor. The service we received really turned us off. The interaction the group before and after us was completely different than ours & I hate to say it but we felt like it was race related. The person was very short and impatient with us & wanted nothing to do with us . Whereas the group before and after he was thrilled and enthusiastic to help . I will say the aesthetic of the restaurant is nice .
Super friendly staff! The donuts rotate seasonally. It was my first time actually walking inside and it's very cute. A bunch of inclusive decor and a full bar inside.
Early morning coffee and donuts is sometimes a tough sell when your best friend has a dairy allergy, but thankfully Brewnuts has VEGAN DONUTS! Not just like 1 subpar vegan option for people who oops'd into the place, but a nice selection of vegan offerings that rival and sometimes surpass the normal ones! The menu changes weekly, so there's always a good reason to stop in and grab some for the office, family get together or even just a single sweet treat for yourself. Stepping into the door you are transported to a salty seaside hideaway, full of funky semi-nautical decor. Fun colors, but used in tasteful ways and an eye for detail. A perfectly quirky environment for such inventive and exciting donuts to call home! The service is always quick, even going above and beyond to ensure everyone gets what they are there for! Warning: this is not the place to stop the first day of your diet! We got half a dozen, 4 vegan, 2 standard. I'm a grown man and could only finish one (after taking a little taste of each vegan offering). My favorite was the (not vegan lol) garlic Parmesan twist. I'm a sucker for savory pastry and this one delivered! Slightly sweet dough with soft garlic butter and coated with Parmesan cheese. Needless to say, my dairy free partner did not get the chance to try this one, but it did make her jealous! 10/10!
I was craving donuts so badly this evening and was so happy to find Brewnuts still open as most donut places other than Dunkin and Krispy Kreme were all closed. There's free street parking which made it super easy to quickly get in and grab some to go. But the atmosphere inside is really nice, maybe I would stay next time. I can see this being a really nice place to catch up with friends or play some games as they also serve drinks here (cafe and alcoholic). The donuts are huge and have a good chew to them. I like how they have some classic flavors but then also some less traditional ones. We tried the maple bacon donut. And it was good but I wish it leaned more into the savory. It was still mostly very sweet. The maple flavor was strong, and the only bacon flavor was from the actual bacon on top which didn't taste like much because there also wasn't that much bacon.
The atmosphere alone is worth a visit! The donuts were delicious and the drink selection was cozy and unique. A great place to chill and hang with your friends or family! The servers were so friendly!

Brewnuts is so much more than just a donut shop; it's a cornerstone of the community. First off, the donuts are incredible--so are the fun themed menus! Beyond the food, the atmosphere is vibrant and charming, but what really sets this place apart is the people. The owners and staff clearly pour their hearts into everything they do. They have gone above and beyond to create a safe, inclusive, and welcoming space for every single person who walks through the door. It's rare to find a business that balances world-class treats with such genuine care for local causes and human kindness. If you want a donut that tastes good and a business you can feel good about supporting, this is it. read more

The people working here are very nice! Great service and they have local beer on tap. The interior was a little sticky and the donuts are room temperature and a bit dense. It is really fun her to watch games with friends. Street parking available. read more

Have driven to Cleveland just for these donuts. A staple any trip through the city. This is a place where everyone is welcomed and celebrated. Shoutout to the vegan donut flavors- always so delicious and flavorful. I love this spot for way more than the food they make! read more

The vibes are incredible. The dones and drinks (coffee and more adult options, both) are always on point. But it's the story, mission, and people that always brought me back. Having moved away from Cleveland, I miss having a shop like Brewnuts. Shelley and John are true salt of the earth people who make great donuts and do even better in their community. read more

Loved the maple bacon donut but I have to take points off for having no decaf options, either espresso or drip. Millions of Americans can't have caffeine for medical reasons and it would take nothing to have a bag or two of decaf espresso on hand for Americanos. I dont expect a full range of options but at least one thing. read more
Fun and unique donut place that has donuts and beer to offer! Their menu has around 13 different flavors, all different and sound delicious. We ordered half a dozen, which they have a small discount for, giving us a chance to try a few flavors. My favorite was the caramel pretzel! It had a nice layer of caramel on top and then a bunch of fresh pretzels and a drizzle of chocolate. The donuts have a unique flavor because they're made with craft beer, cutting down on the sweetness. The atmosphere of the shop is casual and welcoming to all. There are a few tvs to watch sports like a local bar, with signs promoting watch parties too. The donuts are a bit more expensive than most, but given they're handmade, very filling, and uniquely constructed, it is worth it. read more
This place is very cute with a great tropical sweet vibe. It's half bar - half bakery. I went in early in the morning for donuts and came out a happy customer. It was fast and easy to order, there was plenty of open seating and the donuts were amazing. I loved the maple bacon donut the most. I took home half a dozen and they didn't disappoint. They are bigger in size than duck donuts or Dunkin'. The parking is easy and next time I'll need to get a drink to try! I highly recommend coming in for a visit. read more

I had another opportunity for visit Brewnuts earlier in the morning where the selections were vast. There was a long line so I knew there was something good to have. But the line went by fast. The vibes inside were on point as well. Once I got to the front if the line, the girl up front was helpful in telling us what the best sellers were. I opted for the Samoa donut and it did not disappoint. I'm not a huge donut person, but their donut was so big and fluffy. I appreciated that and will this has now become my new donut spot! read more

Went in to grab a variety of donuts to try around 10am and they were out of a few choices. I grabbed 5 different donuts to try and some cold brew as well. Cold brew was smooth, delicious and did the trick. The inside of the store is so cute and I enjoy the welcoming environment, including the person that talked through choices and provided great service. The donuts are a mixed bag for us. I like a bit heavier donut so that was good for me. The key lime was very flavorful and I found myself taking little bites through the day after our sampling :) The Xmas Ale fry cake flavor was great but a little dry on the crumb. Either way, we enjoyed a lot about the store and donuts but they are bigger, more dense and I could not imagine eating an entire one myself :) read more
Pickle fritter was delicious with mildly sweet soft fried goodness and dill spice with a teeny bit of pickle found in one part of the large pastry. The Oreo pumpkin donut had great donut volume and good frosting although always too sweet for me. They always have new eccentric flavors to try. read more
Had to hit Brewnuts on our way home from the vacation. All that I wanted it to be. Got a dark coffee because I knew the donuts would hit that sweet tooth hard. The coffee was really good and can imagine it even better with milk. Person there that helped was kind and patient. Parked across the road and it was delicious all the way home for 6hrs. read more
Good quality ingredients go into these donuts which I could taste. Easy to tell that these donuts were freshly made. Very unique flavor creations are available here. Bought six different donuts so we could taste various flavors. Glazed was my favorite! The one with the chocolate cream was really good too. These donuts are best eaten the day you buy them. The size of each donut is good for the cost. Also tried an iced latte. Very good and a great compliment to the donuts. Great customer service here as well. read more

Starting off, I really appreciate the 4 vegan options, as well as donuts being labeled if they have alcohol in them. The man who served us was very kind and accommodating in putting extra wax paper between the vegan donuts and the regular ones that we ordered in our half-dozen. The texture of the donuts is great. Fluffy, not dry, like a nice donut cakey-ness... not sure how else to describe it. Chocolate sprinkle was a great classic donut to have as a vegan option and probably comes out as my favorite for the vegan donuts, amaretto coffee definitely is second, it had fantastic depth of flavor, but I felt it was a little too sweet. Limoncello was sweet and refreshing, not to tacky of a citrus flavor, it was light, and fresh. Still too sweet for my liking but then again, I do not have the sweetest tooth. Italian flag vanilla was more than I'd expect for a vanilla but still pretty normal. Very hip and colorful interior. Single-stall bathrooms. Cute spot I'd recommend. read more
I'm sorry to change my review....but subsequent visits since 2019 I've since changed my mind on brew nuts. The first time was good a solid 4. Since then just don't feel it. And then this last time really solidified it for me. The bar tender(s) always seem less then happy to be there/take orders and we'll honestly the quality of the donuts just aren't as good. Or maybe they sit more now idk what it is. Brought some friends in for a donut and drink from out of town bc the idea is really cute and unique. Well everyone was just really underwhelmed and the donuts were honestly either old tasting or just not good. Had a dunkin doughnut at work this week that was 10x better and more than half the price. Wish I would of took my guests somewhere else. read more
