The Cuban. My daughter said it was sweeter than she expected.

Saucy Brew had a lot of vegan options, which was nice. My son enjoyed his vegan pepperoni pizza. Our server was friendly and helpful. The food came out sporadically though. For example, my son was finished eating his pizza before the rest of our food came out. There were 5 of us. The atmosphere was loud and fun, indoor/outdoor. We were also seated pretty quickly.

Saucy Brew Works has a large selection of beers and a large menu of bar food. I was impressed with the vegan pizza. It was perfectly spicy and the crust was very crisp. My partner prefers wheat beers or a hazy IPA in a pinch. He had a hard time finding something on the menu to suit his taste. He did enjoy the Italian sandwich. The portion was very healthy. We arrived around 6p on a Tuesday and the dining area was not too full. People started arriving as we sat there. We have ordered at the counter in the past. This time we had a server and she was great. She even saw my partner was not enjoying his beer and brought him a taster of another. The dining room has picnic table and high tops. I did not find the seating to be comfortable. Next time if the weather is not too warm maybe we will sit outside. We do enjoy the location. Hinge town is a fun area. There is street parking or a small parking garage not far from Saucy Brew Works.

We came here after an event nearby to have a drink and a light bite on a Thursday night. The brewery was having trivia and was very busy. We ordered drinks and food at the bar and then a server brought our food out to us. I had a cherry limeade mocktail that was excellent and we ordered the cauliflower pimento dip - it was awesome! I would love to come back for dinner one night as their menu was quite extensive and we hard that the pizzas are excellent t here. Parking is a bit rough but we found a metered lot a block away behind the building.

I have to say, I was very excited about trying this place when i saw the menu online. It's very diverse and looks promising. Great bar food. I ordered the chicken wrap sandwich and the barbecue mac and cheese. Both we passable, but that's about it. I love a good buffalo chicken wrap sandwich. This was cold by the time I got it home. The thing was, it took me 5 minutes to walk home with it, and they made me wait at the bar because the food wasn't ready. They give you a choice of sauce for the fried chicken inside. That was ok. I asked for blue cheese instead of the ranch dressing. I could taste neither. Most places give it to you on the side for dipping. That was not the case here. The barecue mac and cheese was ok. It was tastey, but nothing special. I'd give that a 3 out of 5 starts. and the wrap a 2 out of 5 to be honest. The ambience seems kinda fun. It's a beer hall atmosphere, with lots of windows in a nice little part of Ohio City. I think 3 out of 5 is generous. It's worth coming here, decent bar food is how I'd sum it up.

My mom and I had a couple of things not go to plan earlier so we went looking near our Soul Space Yelp elite event and picked this spot hoping to get a gluten free cauliflower crust pizza but they didn't have any of the crust this time! We walked in and the waitstaff greeted us and said pick any open spot and someone would be with us shortly. Christopher was our waiter. He was very friendly and took plenty of time to ask questions to the kitchen when we had them prior to getting our wing orders in. My mom picked the Bee Sting wings. She really enjoyed them. I had one of hers and they were indeed very flavorful. I chose the honey sriracha and that flavor is divine. I will say, both wings were more hot from being fresh out of the oven. Getting through the first couple of them, (they come in orders of six), you can really enjoy the flavors more. The wings themselves were pretty big compared to other wing places I have been. The flats and the drums. As someone who doesn't drink anymore, I appreciate there being a spot on the menu for a couple mocktails. Lots of TVs, music playing at a comfortable loud so you could hear both it and the people with you. Definitely a fun atmosphere. I saw they had trivia nights, maybe I could test my luck?! Overall, an awesome quick bite. Would love to come back and get a pizza on cauliflower crust!!

Friendly server. His name was Chris. Be sure to ask for him. Came here because we saw they had gluten free pizza crust .... Guess what they were out of!!?? We settled on wings. I ordered the bee sting bbq flavor. A perfect level of hot. They do charge extra for celery and for dressing. Typical bar atmosphere. Large tables available for larger groups. Patio doors were open beautiful breeze tonight.

A solid place to grab a beer in Cleveland. Stopped in after a long day at work and was surprised by the wide variety of beers available. They have flights, so you can sample a number of different types at an affordable price. Huge space with a nice seasonal patio and large bar. Service was a little slow as others mentioned, but nothing ridiculous. I haven't had food at this location, so I can't speak on it's quality. I'd definitely stop in for a beer, again.

It's becoming more and more difficult to not stop here when visiting Cleveland. Its location is perfect if you're visiting the Rock Hall or the stadium. It's also not terribly far from other points of interest. The food is worth the trip. The pimento dip alone is a must. Beware if you are lactose, it will destroy you, but god damn it's delicious. The pizzas are also incredible. The chicken bbq has been my go-to. The beer selection is very wide and seems to stay up to date if thats your thing. The mocktail options are also delicious. Any servers Ive had have been polite, friendly, and attentive. With plenty of room there isnt often a wait so dont hesitate to stop on in.

Oh wow great brewery! The wings are amazing! Hint hint get a side of saucy ghost but keep a side of water near. Phenomenal beer with a fantastic wait staff that eager to please. Laid back atmosphere and cool neighborhood

A DIY OPERATION wow my brother wanted to come here he says he's been before but I question that now lol. Let me tell u what happened. I saw Detroit road I thought, easy enough. Well it's right by urban orchid in hinge town. I picked up floral there in the past. Absolutely nowhere to park, all taken. And everybody in the city goes there at the same time. If u know u know. Had I known I would avoid the area at all cost. Road has been under construction there for the duration of my 32 years in this town. We park in the garage. There's a couple pictures next to the pay box of the three hoods that keep breaking into cars on the 2nd & 3rd floor. If u see them DO SOMETHING it basically says lol. Well I hit the clicker and in we went anyhow. Ps they didn't burgle my car, during the day anyway. Go inside. Seat yourself picnic tables. Fine. Is there a waitress? Apparently not after some sitting like an idiot. Maybe there's a sign that says order at the bar but thats how it ended up. Double pepp pizza & a couple drafts. Take them to the table yourself. Less than ideal. Did they ever have waitresses & they just gave up. Idk about these serve yourself places & I suppose if u don't like it, well don't come in? I wonder if they'd even care. What was going through my mind at the time. Moved to the bar, bartender was nice. Good beer the urban Meyer & later the funny can that says Love you, bye IPA. young couple at the end picnic table had like 12 children and the brought them all it was deafening & the carrying & the swinging and Christ knock it off already. Isn't there a law about children at the bar. Can I sponsor this law? I wasn't the only one the two girls at the other end of the bar were giving dirty looks back there but what are the parents gonna do now they don't have a sitter(s). Who would u trust to watch ur children these days. Pizza took awhile but it was great and huge. See pic. Hard to serve w no spatula lol. I got this I'll separate these slices with a knife that doesn't exist. No cutlery ha. It's kinda like "come on in and drink but ur on ur own, esp if u order food." We wanna make beer and sell it and we have food too if u want to deal with it without any help. It's how I used to sell the hot dogs at the neighborhood garage sale lol. It's so crowded in the street I didn't listen to my map and went home on Detroit. What an adventure. I'd get the pizza delivered. And I'll drink the beer. Just not there unless it was empty. All in all it was ok, I guess. It's just my radar was going off the whole time like did they make it like this on purpose?

    Kumalah J.

Okay, so not like how they used to be. I've come two times in a row where they have messed up. Last visit I ordered a large and they made me the wrong size. They fixed it by charging me for the size they served me, which was okay. This time I ordered a pizza again, wrong size. Same thing -- would charge for the size they served me. But I also ordered their garlic bread app and the bread was burnt that it was too hard too eat. FWIW, I didn't even bring this up as an issue because I was over it, but does make me feel like food is declining. When sports games are on they still play music over the game. But 3% surcharge for using your card.... Come on! Only positive is the wings are still good. There are too many negatives now to frequent this place.

    Brittany N.

Loved, loved, loved this place! The food was really good, especially the drinks. I got the bluegrass burger, Buffy Summers wings, and a few drinks. The burger was good but I didn't like the fatty gristle parts in it , others than that it was good. The fries were bland, but good with salt. The honey I dry rip the wings were interesting, not too bad. The Jammin Mac was good, it could have used a little more bbq sauce and meat but over all it was really good. I could do without the pretzel. The service and how it was set up was cool. No one waits on you, you have to order yourself at the bar, but overall the people were extremely nice, I mean everyone! The music was on point, the whole place was a vibe and I would love to come back. Pretty Pricey but the food and ambiance makes up for it. *park in the public parking area ( the garage) around the corner and you'll see a slide on the second floor.

I love Saucy! It's a great place to grab a beer and have some good food. Service is always great and the servers are always very friendly. I had the Blaze BBQ Mac and Cheese and it was very good! My only critique is that the pretzel that comes with it is very hard to bite into. I think in previous trips as well this has been the case. They taste good, but just more stiff than a regular pretzel. Saucy on Detroit is also very loud and it can be hard to hear people. However, that is not a dealbreaker as there is so many good things about this brewery!

Coming into the store there was a cute counter by the window if you did decide to sit inside and eat. We came all the way from Kent for the pizza and wanted to try a slice before we left for home so my boyfriend ate a slice in the parking lot really quick. An employee (possibly the owner) came out with napkins and offered us to sit inside. We declined as we had to leave but the man graciously went inside and brought us out cold water bottles for our drive home! It was such a thoughtful gesture. Now onto the pizza. It was delicious! We ordered a regular pepperoni pizza and the white Neapolitan style pizza. It wouldn't let me add pineapple to my pizza online, which was fine because it didn't need it, the pizza was so good! My boyfriend loved his pepperoni pizza and I also enjoyed my Neapolitan style white pizza. It had a great garlicky flavor and was crispy on the crust. I went to Yelp and found Angelo's, which wasn't far from where we were, so I placed an order for pick up. We got a large cheese, a large pepperoni, a medium half cheese/half pep, and two salads. Let me tell ya, that was plenty! When I arrived this place was pretty poppin for a Thursday at 1pm. Clearly they draw in the lunch crowd. It only took one bite into my slice of pizza and I understood why. The crust was pillowy and chewy, the sauce was sweet but just the right amount, and the amount of cheese was perfect. We got a side of ranch and it just added even more awesomeness to the bite. The salads were pretty large, but it would have been nice if they cut the veggies up a little more. There were full sized baby carrots thrown in there which were impossible to cut with the plastic utensils we got. I would hands down order from here if I lived in Cleveland. They would likely be a rotating option for me. Hell, I wish I could have some right now.

If you check out my reviews, you'll see that I've sampled pizzas in more than one state and more than one country, including Italy. I've sampled many types of crusts and sauces. While the crust here is fine (not the best), the sauce is repulsive. My daughter said "Dad, this area is heavily populated with people from Eastern Bloc countries," to which I responded "If they like their pizza sweet, so be it. But I certainly don't." I understand that there are plenty of pizza styles, including the Greek version, which includes cinnamon on occasion. Yuck. This place is called Napoleon's Pizza, and they claim to conquer pretty much everything, from your pizza craving to the whole town of Parma. Indeed, Napoleon was an Italian dude who was born in France. His conquering skills were excellent, until his greed resulted in the deaths of thousands of soldiers who froze to death. All of that to say, I might've named this place Napoli's Pizza (since Napoli is the birthplace of the pizza we know today). But the sweet sauce here is an abomination, so maybe 'Napolean's' is more appropriate after all.

You watch happy patrons pile out with slices as large as your head, you smell the delicious grease; you can practically taste your pie already. Stepping inside, this religious experience continues when, right as you ready yourself to order, you watch the pizza barista pull a hot, fresh pie directly from the oven. You can see instantly deduce the pizza is perfectly cooked--the cheese is melted evenly, the smell of the tomato sauce lingers in the air, the crust has just the right bend--you look the cashier in the eye and declare that a slice of that fresh-out-of-the-oven pizza pie is exactly what you want. Now imagine the horror as the cashier takes that fresh slice of pizza, perfect as Michelangelo's David, and PUTS IT BACK IN THE OVEN. Horrified, you can do nothing but watch as your already amazing slice of pizza is burnt to a crisp. Served to you five minutes later, your wonderfully floppy New York slice now has the consistency of a saltine cracker. It has been charred to the point of burying the cheese and sauce--replaced by the flavor of charcoal. You might think this is an indulgent (and even pretentious) way to simply say "the pizza was overcooked," but I believe understanding the promise of this product is essential to understanding the pain of its disappointment. Lil Ronnie's is the type of place that has all of the potential to become a legitimate contender for the best pizza in town--it does so much right with its atmosphere and location, and my nose and sight told me the potential exists within that original version of the slice!
