We popped in here because this place had a few pinball machines. They had a very interesting cocktail menu and I had to try something new. I had to try the Fernet & Cola. The bartender did let me try the Ferber first and I was intrigued with the flavor I thought I would give it a try. It wasn't what I expected, but chocked half of it down. I then went with something I knew I would love. The inside was very industrial and had a fun crowd.

Fried Green Tomato Sando (with pork belly) - super!

Great experience at Collision Bend. We asked about patio, but it was full. Still seated at a table that felt like the patio. Enjoyed our bevs & meals. Appreciate that when hubby ordered the shrimp tacos, the server preemptively warned that it was an order of two. All right. And then when they inquired whether I wanted another beer and I hemmed and hawed (almost literally), she offered a taste or a half pint. Solutions! Steller. Just the pre concert experience we desired. Ps. My only pickle was my onions. Could swear they were described as pickled onions. They were not. Just plain old raw red onion, which I don't prefer. But not a big deal.

We stopped in for drinks after dinner in the Flats area. We sat at a table outside by the water. Seated quickly, and our server was very friendly and accommodating. Our cocktails were mixed well and tasty. The views were absolutely beautiful. Adding this place to our list of 'must do' for our next trip to town.

Collision Bend is a trendy waterfront brewery in the Flats. Inside you'll find a large dining room, taproom, enclosed patio, and outdoor patio. The brewery features exposed brick walls and nautical themes. You can also find pinball machines in various parts of the brewery. In my humble opinion, it's one of the best sunset views in Cleveland. This brewery features a pretty extensive menu especially for a brewery. You can find greens, small plates, large plates, beer, wine, cocktails, desserts, and seltzers on the menu. If you're feeling adventurous, they have a small flight of beer. If you want to commit to a beer, there's a variety of choice from very hoppy to fruity. Tonight I paired Blackberry Sunset Fruited Wheat Ale with BBJ Burger. Wheat ale did not taste overwhelmingly sweet and was very smooth. BBJ was one of the best burgers I tasted in a while. Just really good quality beef. It was topped with a generous serving of bourbon apricot bacon jam. I ate every last crumb. It was that good. Highly recommend! Service at Collision Bend is consistently great. Management really seems to care about everyone having a great time. Tonight my order arrived almost instantly, which blew my mind. If you plan to go in the warmer months, prepare for a very lively and busy brewery. Parking is available in the attached lot (prepare to spend around $8-10) or street parking is available if you get lucky!

Stopped here for lunch on Saturday, had an awesome meal. The menu has regular bar food like burgers, pizza, etc., but also a lot of different choices that you don't see at a lot of places. Everything we had was delicious. I have a problem with a lot of restaurants over salting their food and that was not the case here. The food was all seasoned perfectly. The roasted chic pea salad was one of the best salads I've ever had. The toasted boomer grilled cheese was excellent. Plenty of vegetarian and vegan dishes available. Awesome drink menu I want to go back for and enjoy some drinks with their delicious food. No negatives here at all. Service was great too; loved it all will be back!

Came to collision bend after a session of hits yoga and man did it hit the spot! My friend and I ordered the Peach wheat beer(?) which was super light and refreshing...just what we were looking for! I also ordered a southwest salad with grilled chicken and this was so delicious!! Service was a little slow with our waiter but we weren't in too bad of a rush so we didn't mind!

what a great place on the river to grab a bite to eat. the outside patio sits right on the river but if it's colder you can sit inside and still look out. I got a hot chicken sandwich with a blue cheese dipping sauce. The panko chicken breast had a great crusts on it and the sauce was good and not too hot. it made it even better when you dipped it in the blue cheese dipping sauce they gave you. fries they came with were homemade and tasted good. kind of like five guys. you can also grab one up there in House made beers which everyone I tried was good.

A friend and I decided to meet up downtown Cleveland to eat at a restaurant near the lake. Upon entrance we were happy to see that the place wasn't packed and the waitress proceeded to take us to outdoor seating. We sat outside for a good 15 minutes until we realized that this outside seating wasn't what we had in mind because of the "new bugs" that are now flying everywhere close to the lake. This is no fault of the restaurant however we proceeded back indoors to finish off our drinks and reviewing the menu. Once inside we asked the waiter about a few items on the menu. The waiter (I forget his name) was very brief with us and didn't really seem too interested in helping us. We overlooked it and ordered anyways. I ordered the French fries 420 style and they were just ok to me. I would go back and order something else and hopefully get a better waiter next time.

My friend and I decided we wanted to sit by the water and went to the flats. I took a look at the menu and we decided on Collision Bend. She goes to the one in Euclid, this was my first time at either one. We went around lunchtime, it was surprisingly kind of empty, but maybe we beat the rush. It didn't matter we liked that it was crowded or loud. We tried the patio first and although I love eating outside, those lantern bugs drove us back inside, they were EVERYWHERE! We come in and sit in the enclosed veranda area, so we could still see the water, but were insulated from the bugs. We did have a few birds visiting though, lol. We started with a refreshing drink that I can't remember the name of but it had tequila in it and it reminded me of a mojito. Then I ended with one that had basil and cucumber and was more like a martini. We both got the 420 style fries. I replaced the cheese sauce with real cheese blend and also ordered a side salad with the balsamic reduction (the soy ginger tasted like straight soy sauce ). Our server was not super friendly, but wasn't unpleasant. We joked that after we pointed it out to each other, he must've heard us because he seem to pick up the attentiveness and revisited us more (it was close to tip time). Although I enjoyed my fries, I'm not sure if I'd return to eat in. If I'm downtown and in the mood, I may order takeout.

Came with the inlaws on a Saturday afternoon and was very lively! We sat in the covered area outside and it wasn't cold at all. Service was very quick. Great spot for families. Enjoyed the beer and ate my entire burger, so good!

Mellow Mushroom Pizza needed a couple more minutes in the oven, but tasty anywsy.

We tried Collision Bend at the recommendation of a native Clevelander. He was so right, This place was terrific. We had a late lunch on the veranda. The setting was absolutely lovely. We tried two apps Sauerkraut Balls - good, but not enough kraut , and the Everything Pretzel that was absolute perfection. One of our group said it was the best pretzel he's ever had. I'd have to say I agree and I have had more than my share of pretzels over the years. For our meals? We had three smash burgers, one Mellow Mushroom Pizza, and a B.B.J. Burger. All good choices. Our server was fun and our food came out quickly. I appreciate that they let us eat the apps before they brought the food. Would definitely recommend this spot.

This bar was a little strange to me. Walked in on a Thursday afternoon at about 5pm to get a drink and food. I was initially impressed as it was huge place. They had vending machines on one side of the bar area and then a long bar with industrial like design. My friend and I sat down and waited. Now, I see this alot. Customer service isn't like it used to be. But I had to get someone's attention to come help us. There were maybe 7 people in the entire restaurant. The people were nice, but the service just wasn't there. The music they played was strange as well. They played like zen music that you would listen to when you're doing yoga. It just threw the vibe off for me. The food was okay. A little pricey. I ordered a personal pizza and a beer. At one point random bag pipers and a parade of Scottish people flooded through the restaurant. Everything about this place was just a little off. I was visiting but I would not recommend this place to anyone

The beer was delicious, the view was stunning, and the food was some of the best I've ever had! It's nice that the location is still in the flats but doesn't feel overwhelming or too busy. The waitress was super helpful with recommendations as we had never been there before. We would definitely go back and recommend to anyone looking for new breweries to try!

But yesterday my wife and I decided to get involved with the festivities in Gorden Square/Battery Park. So on a brisk but sunny day we drove down to Battery Park in Cleveland and visited "All Saints Public House" for a tall glass of Guinness and a dish of Cabbage and Noodles topped with a Bratwurst. The Battery Park area is a wonderful part of town and a fun place to visit. "All Saints" is a great ethnic bar/restaurant. It's dark, moody, warm, full of awesome people, and just a great place to be. The lady and gentleman that waited on us were really great and made us feel right at home. We sat and talked and watched "Gone with the Wind", drank a wonderfully satisfying Guinness (on tap), and ate some of the best Cabbage and Noodles I've ever had, with an excellent Bratwurst on top. Turns out, Dyngus Day is a load of fun... and I'm still not sure what it is?

We ordered beers and as luck would have it, I was able to order their last available rack of ribs for the evening (my go-to barbecue item)! We also got some beef brisket and a few sides to share. Overall the meats were tasty, but there were a few issues with the meal. The ribs had a nice dry rub seasoning on them and were quite tender. The brisket also had a good bark, but was a tad dry. In terms of available sauces, the Kansas City sauce was thick and tangy, but the Proof sauce was not good at all...I just could not put my finger on what about it I didn't like n its flavor profile. The coleslaw was shredded with vinegar and quite dry, the mac-n-cheese was only semi-gooey and the fries (although tasty) were limp from being undercooked. Bottom line was thumbs up on the meats and thumbs sideways (or down) on the sides. Wil most certainly give them another try as I am a BBQ junky, hoping the outcomes are slightly better.

FOOD -- I ordered the Slow Braised Pork ($22) which includes sweet potato gnocchi, fennel, crispy sage, and apple cider glaze. This was a delicious and very hearty meal. I hardly eat pork so I'm glad that I enjoyed the dish. The sweet potato gnocchi was perfectly paired with the pork. Everything in the dish just blended well together. All my friends enjoyed their food too, from the meatballs, calamari, burger with fries, ratatouille, and more. I nibbled on a few of them and loved it especially the wagyu meatballs. The food was all full of flavour. Service was nice all afternoon as the server came to check on us a few times including refilling our water glasses. MINI GOLF -- Head downstairs to play some games. You pay a fee and are then given score sheets. A friend's friend had surprisingly paid for all of us and I had no idea until the next day (for some reason I thought the mini golf was included in the lunch cost...LOL). Each golf game has a different course with some being more challenging than others. I recommend Birdietown Mini Golf and Lounge for a fun day of mini golf plus lunch. Not a traditional seating, it was very comfy with one side being a booth and the otherwise having two comfy lounge chairs. I ordered the chicken sandwich, which was large and delicious. The chicken was well fried and the bread was so good. The fries were good, but the aioli was 12/10, so so so good! Since the Metropolitan is home to an apartment complex, an upscale hotel, a rooftop bar, a dog park, a Pilates studio, a theater, a basement vault bar, and a "high-end" eatery, there's a whole lot of people constantly coming and going. Sitting at the four (five?) two-person tables situated right at the balcony railing means you can easily lean over and watch people come and go while sipping your drinks. Unlike the rest of the bars in the hotel, I was told there was no drink menu at the Ledger, and the bartender (who waited my table!) simply asked what flavor profile I was desiring tonight. The resulting drink he made was honestly good, and I really enjoyed it. Zero idea what was in it to ever order it again (and he was really overworked to ask!), but it was a neat experience of a "craft your own experience". There were a few beers on tap. I'm unsure about wine. Centro's food menu (restaurant downstairs) appears to be available here. There's a single unisex bathroom within steps of the bar, and the regular hotel lobby bathrooms are down a floor. As conference rooms are nearby this bar, I'd also probably guess there's a large conference room bathroom block too, but I didn't find that one. The rest of the bars and restaurants in the Metropolitan tend to take most of the attention here, and the Ledger has a much more laid-back, chill vibe. A lot of people were watching a sports game (baseball, I think?) on the TV behind me. With the smaller space and wide "open" area of the full lobby, the Ledger feels like your calmest, quietest bar option out of the available places at the Metropolitan.
