Grabbed some carry out today and portions were crazy small. Tabbouleh was basically only tomatoes, no cracked wheat, a few tiny pieces of parsley, seriously ridiculous. My most recent trip I got the hummus & mixed greens wrap with lamb. It was very good. I think it's better than the wrap with rice because lately, I feel it's way overloaded with rice more so than anything else in the wrap. Best garlic aioli...yum! A better "fast" food! Lots to enjoy in this little restaurant in Westgate. Wraps are made fresh to order while you wait and customized to my liking. Personal favorite is the Moroccan style Lamb wrap with garlic and hot sauce. It's gigantic and half is probably all the calories you need for a marathon, but heck go for the 100 miler. Totally savory and satisfying. A very hearty lunch , and yes they have lighter fare. Service is fast and friendly and they are happy to answer your questions. The Mediterranean wraps and dinner plates here are 'to die for', and you get a choice of various seasoned meats or shrimp. I am definitely updating my review to 5 stars after eating at Dolce Wraps several more times since my first visit earlier this year. I think I must have been having a bad day or just not ordered my favorite dish the first time. I also hadn't had the extras- the best part- hummus, baba, and tabouli. Their baba is some of the best I've ever tried. The hummus is excellent too. As I said before, they have a large menu with excellent prices. Very very cheap for what you get. Everything I've had has been a pretty large serving. Their wraps are some of the biggest I've ever seen, not your typical wrap at all. After having several other entrees and sides, I regret saying that I wasn't impressed with the quality of the food on my first visit. Everything here is cooked fresh and served hot. It has a very home-made taste and everything has been fresh (including the tomatoes) each time I've been here. Have to say also that the girls who prepare the food here are so nice. It's the closest to Southern hospitality that I've seen in this area. They act like they enjoy making the food and making sure that you are pleased with it. I wish I got the name of the girl who helped me today because she helped me customize a wrap that I LOVED and was so patient and kind. They also offer a refillable card in which every $30 you put on it, you get a free meal which my husband and I usually do.
