Wanted to like this place more but it just fell flat. Came here after a hike nearby with a girlfriend. She was hesitant to choose this place at first because she wanted more options than just burgers/sandwiches. Thankfully we found some Google images of the menu that had rice bowls. Friend ordered a salmon rice bowl and I ordered their famous donut burger. I thought the donut was a little too small and skinny for the price at $14. Also, this is a big kicker--no fries or sides! Within the burger, just a square of Kraft cheese, some bacon, smash burger type patty (2) but no onions, tomatoes or even cucumbers (or pickles). The value is just not it for this. Did it taste good? It did but I needed more of a crunch. Just 1 or 2 slices of raw onion would've been good. Oooooh or like crispy haystack onion straws would be perfect. Server said fries were an additional $5. Okay, no thanks! The place was really loud. It echoed slightly and just the clientele were extremely rowdy on a non-holiday Wednesday evening. No Fork Beachwood is a restaurant in Beachwood. It used to be a very casual establishment until recent innovations. It now looks like a sit down restaurant with a bar and ample seating. I didn't even recognize it at first from my previous visit. While the restaurant has a nice new face, I wasn't impressed with my time here. AMBIENCE: The restaurant has a posh new look. It's one open space with plenty of natural light. The front of the restaurant has booths and tables. The bar is towards the back. Decor includes faux marble, white and red tones, occasional neons and No Fork wall. The decor doesn't quite go together. The atmosphere is very casual. The entry to the restaurant is awkward. The front door does not open due to some issue with concrete. Only the back door is available for entry. The back of the building has random garbage. The back of the restaurant stacked boxes. It's not a welcoming entrance. FOOD: I ordered Donut Burger ($13.75) and Smash Burger ($13.75). Burgers do not come with any sides like fries. There are really no sides to add from the menu unless you want to try appetizers (or shareables on the menu). Donut Burger is a creative concept but has poor execution. In theory, it would be a great idea for someone who is craving sweet and savory morning options. The donut tasted stale, cheese low grade, and skinny bacon that was not restaurant grade. Smash burger was on the dry side and not appetizing. The ingredients are not high quality. It really impacts the quality of the meal. These burgers are the equivalent of something that I would expect at a fast food place not a restaurant. The menu also features shareables, Philly, pi boys, wraps, and comfort dishes. SERVICE: The service wasn't impressive. I have to give credit where credit is due - food was cooked quickly (maybe 10 minutes). Other than that, there was no customer focus. No one asked me if I wanted anything to drink (even water) as I waited for my to go order at the bar. No one explained the menu to offer shareables to go with burgers. Employees were more interested in looking at their phones and socializing. PARKING: Parking is available at the front and back of the plaza. There is plenty of space. Overall, I wasn't impressed with my experience at No Fork. The food was not delicious and seemed to utilize the cheapest ingredients. The service was mediocre. If you're looking for casual bites with a bar option, try it out. Unfortunately, I didn't find any reasons to return. read more

Finally got to try No Fork and I was not disappointed! I ordered the breakfast burrito online and picked it up in store. I was a little late on picking it up, but it was still warm. The burrito is huge, comes with sausage, bacon, potatoes sautéed onions and peppers and eggs. Everything was really well seasoned, especially the peppers and onions. The burrito was a little expensive IMO at $13 and it didn't come with sour cream. The space was clean and service was fast. I'm excited to try this place again and get something else. read more

Cons: the long wait time for no reason. Last time I dined was busier, so I chalked the long wait time to that, however...today was not busy and we waited and waited and waited!!! I didn't realize how long it had been since we had a good convo going and realized we were OVER the 30-45 min mark. We were not provided any updates on the delay at all. Do better No Fork! So on a recent visit back home, my Sister told me to try this place. I was pressed for time so she did a pickup order for me. I ordered the salmon shrimp poboy. It's $22. So this place is back off the main road with a lot of other shops. It's next door to Wax Bar and Shonnie's bakery. After past the BP on Richmond, it's the first opening turn right and you'll see a zillion restaurants and shops back there. It might not be hard to find if you live in Cleveland but I haven't in over 10 years so it was just a little bit confusing. Nonetheless, I walk in and there's a young lady at the hostess stand talking to another older employee so I wait hoping for her to acknowledge me. Nope lol. The older employee walks away and so does she.. yeah that kind of pissed me off! But anywho I go to the bar and tell them I have a pickup order. The bartender points behind me and I see these little signs with arrows that say pickup! The signs are no bigger than copy paper. I'm like now why didn't they have a sign at the entrance and a bigger sign near the pickup area. There was no issue getting my order but there had to be at least 12-13 different orders just stacked on top of each other. So my issues are no acknowledgement upon entry, seems a bit unorganized and they need bigger signs. The parking is free and ample. Signage outside is perfect and easy to see! Now as for the salmon shrimp poboy!!! It was possibly one of the best things I've tasted this year! You get a lot and the seasoning of the poboy was perfection!!! Will I go back there? Running up Cleveland way, looking for a quick place to grab breakfast and found this place in a strip center. Portion size is considerable but food is your standard fare with prices that suggest extraordinary. Mom had the breakfast potatoes and asked that they leave out the peppers. I'm not sure about the other reviews about the servers arguing but they probably got rid of those people because we came in and it was super busy and people were professional and nice! When I first walked in with my family, I was surprised that we were the only people there. As the time went on, they started getting busy but we were very uncomfortable with the screaming match between the 2 women servers. The lady that had served us was very pleasant and attentive, but swearing across the a restaurant with the other server was very unprofessional. They were arguing with each other on who was going to serve us. For them to be swearing in front of our small children, already made me feel a little une The food was pretty good. My brother did end up with a different meal than he initially ordered and didn't want to cause any drama, so he just ate it. Even though he didn't order it, it was delicious and not too greasy. The service was very questionable and this experience was lasting. The server refused to give us the receipt with the orders and prices, so we felt that was a bit sketchy. When we got to the car and looked up all the prices and what we ordered, we noticed she over charged us by $30. After this experience, even though the food was not terrible, we will not be coming back. read more

Awesome place for very good food with great service and a nice atmosphere. Service was very nice and our food came out very hot and fresh. The salmon club was awesome, you can choose for the salmon to be fried or grilled, I got fried and it was perfectly cooked, tender on the inside and very crunchy on the outside. The bacon on the club was super crispy, the lettuce and tomato were fresh, the bun was nicely toasted, and the lemon pepper aioli tied the sandwich together. After going to the Browns game, I wanted some good food. I had been researching this place prior to visiting, and it seemed promising. This place is jumping as soon as you walk through the door. The interior is nice and they were playing some good music. If you are not into rap, you may want to order carryout. The customer service was very friendly and welcoming. They did a good job accommodating us and answering our menu questions. I had already decided on the Polish Boy and fries for my meal. They have a cooler filled with koolaid-like drinks, and they have quite the selection of them. My friend got some shrimp entree with sweet potato fries. The food didn't take too long to come out. My Polish Boy was massive. As soon as I saw it, I realized I should've skipped my side order of fries. The Polish Boy was super flavorful, and it had a bit of a kick to it. The fries were fresh, hot, and lightly seasoned. I ordered a side of the Drip Sauce. It was decent but a little too spicy for my liking. My friend was amazed by the maple-like dipping sauce that comes with the sweet potato fries, so he asked me to try it. And it was indeed amazing. This bartender name Kendraya Thurman better known as Draya flirted with my man, not sure if the motive was jealousy or just plain disrespect. But when I brought it up to the manager (Joy Cooley) she did a horrible job trying not to laugh, she thought it was a light matter and she didn't take my concern seriously. She said there's nothing she could do really and left it at that. I can think of three things off rip that she could've done to try and accommodate this situation, unfortunately she didn't even try. Fortunately for the establishment though, I wasn't on any drama, I didn't scream, make a scene or anything. But I can't speak for the next woman's man Kendraya flirts with. The consequences to her inappropriate and tacky actions mixed with the wrong person could end very differently and badly not only for her but the for the restaurant. It's truly repulsive. I emailed the owner, and haven't heard anything back from them. Apparently the only action taken was that he (the owner) told her about the email I sent but no corrective action was taken, which is ridiculous. All and all I did not have a good experience and would not suggest going, seeing that the owner of this establishment condones this trashy behavior. Unprofessional. Extremely poor service. I'm not a burger girl, but The Big Back Brunch Burger exceeded my expectations. The waffle has a slight crunch, but it is also soft at the same time. I could snack on the waffle by itself. I'm glad I decided to give No Fork another try because I was not disappointed! The place was boomin' (busy) when I arrived, there were a few parties dining in and since I was waiting for my son's appointment to end, I decided to dine-in also. The environment was friendly, clean and comfortable. The colors are bright and vivid and it feels good. I placed our order and was quoted about 20 mins. About 5 mins in my son said his appointment was ended earlier, so I updated my order to takeout. It took a little longer than expected, but we were offered a drink for the inconvenience, which was nice and appreciated. Now to the food...you can see from the photos that it looks good, well looks aren't deceiving, it is good, actually it's great! Super Soul Food. I had the Shrimp Po Boy. Zesty lightly coated fried shrimp top off all the fixings' piled high on a soft fresh Hoagie bun. Topped with delicious Yum Yum sauce. Excellent. They have an excellent variety on the menu including sandwiches, bowls, wraps, salads and Smashburgers. My sister got the Cleveland Chicken topped with slaw and BBQ it looked amazing. The hoagies are huge, two meals for me. Cooler full of drink choices. Staff was warm and friendly and the space was super clean. Simple modern layout. Very small restaurant and small menu.. Service was below average. We weren't checked on often specifically for refills and the food was meh. They do have a burger Monday deal which cuts down the cost. All sides are separate. Menus were dirty and sticky and so were all the condiment bottles. Restaurant was freezing...yes it is winter but I was uncomfortably cold. Burgers were bland, lettuce was wilted and brown and buns were dry and crumbly. Fries were cooked and seasoned well and they do have a great BBQ sauce. Waited almost an hour to get our food. Also the bathroom had tons of hair in both sinks and tons of trash piled up outside of bathroom. Had higher expectations based on reviews. read more

A benefit of the place being small is that your food arrives quickly. Big plus. Because kitchen is not very big however, be prepared to wait a good 20-40 minutes because they get a ton of takeout orders. You know the food is good and their reputation is too if that's happening.
