Service was very pleasant and friendly, took great care of us. The Ohio City burger was quite good juicy and cooked just right for me. The fresh cut fries were golden brown with a slight crunch, can't been fresh cut fries. The desserts were delicious as well.
The service was quick and tentative. The ambiance feels a little fancy yet casual. This time around we sat in the bar area which is pretty cool being semi separate from the other dinning area. However the burglar was a disappointment. It was just so bland... I need at least salt and pepper on the meat. My sister had the calamari and said it was amazing, but would have preferred the sauce on the side so any take home would not be sauggy. The side of carrots were amazing though.
Hecks is known for the burgers, so we got burgers and they were delcious. Fries came out hot and fresh too. The service was amazing, brought refills, boxes, and napkins without being asked - all star silent service. We enjoy the patio which is completely covered and has fans for air movement and to keep away the flies. The restaurant was busy in a Friday night, but we made reservations and had no issues.
We come here so often, there's nothing on the menu I have not tried! Its all good. When you visit, ask for JULIE! She is the most attentive and polite server who not only knows the menu but knows how to deliver the Best experience! Her attention to detail is impeccable. We enjoyed the chicken potstickers (sorry no pic because they were inhaled) the ABC omelet and the wild mushroom ravioli. All were tasty, served hot and delicious. The atmosphere is casual and comfortable so dress to impress or come as you are!
Conveniently located off of Chagrin Boulevard and Richmond RD. The evening was a Holiday gathering with friends. Our server Olivia was pleasant and helpful. The bar and restaurant were nicely decorated for the holidays. Five of us were putting a half booth. It was a tad cramped so we asked for a chair that we put on the end. Olivia was very helpful in moving a chair. This worked much better. I had the Merry Berry Cocktail which was like a margarita with cranberry and Rosemary. It came in a little bottle that you poured yourself. It was good, but could have had more flavor. It was a bit bland. For dinner, I had the Miso Gkazed Salmon over bok choy with sweet potato medallions. It had a cashew crunch dusting on top. It was good, but nothing special. Again, on the bland side. It was overpriced at $35.00. I'd return, but would opt for a burger I e fish tacos. Those looked amazing. The salmon just wasn't something I'd return for. Recommend this for the service and burgers. :-)
Wasn't my first time at Heck's, but it never disappoints! I always get the burger au cheval and since today we came for brunch, I also got the home fries. I will say the service wasn't as great as usual, but I assume it's because it was Mother's Day and busy. But the staff were all super nice. Loved the burger as always, but the homefries were just a tad soggy. Still really enjoyed!
Heck's Cafe is truly a staple when it comes to brunch--you literally can't go wrong here. The menu has such a great variety, so there's something for everyone no matter what you're in the mood for. The food was really good, especially the home fries and sausage links--both were cooked perfectly and super satisfying. The French toast was a standout for me though. It was so flavorful and honestly tasted like a warm cinnamon roll... sooo good. Our waiter, Sarah, was really nice and gave some great recommendations, which made the experience even better. The atmosphere was also really nice--busy in a good way with people coming and going, and the music surprised me in the best way. It had more of an urban vibe, which I loved. I love Heck's--it's always a solid choice for brunch!
Dinner at Heck's was delicious. They have the best burgers made with grass fed beef. Our table of four all tried different special burgers. They all come with their fresh cut fries. You can substitute a salad or vegetable in place of fries. Also gluten free buns are available. The service was excellent. Our two servers were great and made us feel so comfortable. The burgers were all prepared perfectly to the temperatures we requested. We had a side of onion rings for the table & not one was left. We left feeling very full & happy.

Our server was very friendly and accommodating and we felt like we were being taken care of. However, for a Monday evening, it was busier than expected and the speed of everything was extra slow. I had to remind and repeat some requests and questions for the server. Menu was straightforward and appealing. My burger was delicious and fries were crisp. The appetizer portions were on the small side. I wasn't impressed with their desserts. They were very pricey but the descriptions didn't match the content. The blondie sundae we ordered was overly dense, not particularly good and not really a blondie brownie. The chocolate flourless cake was also way too thick and sweet. Heard good things about the bread pudding so will be trying that next time.
Beautiful restaurant, very classy inside. Busy place during lunch on a Wednesday. Food was out in ten min though! Brieberry burger was perfectly cooked to order. Onion rings were nice and hot and crispy with a spicy aioli. Calamari was also nice and crispy but did lack a sauce to come with it would could be an improvement.
My last review here was 3 years ago and my most recent visit was equally as stellar. I thoroughly enjoyed the grilled halibut tacos. There were 3 of them and they were delicious, filled to the brim with quality ingredients and the aioli that comes with them was perfectly spicy and complimentary to the fish. What I can't stop thinking about and craving is the cocktail I had. It's called the Attitude Adjustment and it's literally the best cocktail I've ever had anywhere! Don Julio blanco tequila, passionfruit liqueur, lime, passionfruit juice and Tajin. Perfection! read more
Came here with my family while passing through town and had a great experience. They were a little busy, but it's a big place, and we didn't need a reservation on Saturday evening. The environment is classy and the interior design is lovely, but it's still pretty casual. The inside definitely beats the patio for atmosphere; the patio area is pretty plain, but it looks like you can sit outside with your dog. Everyone really enjoyed the food. We shared the truffle pierogies for an appetizer, I had the shoka bowl for my entree, and we shared the sticky toffee cake for dessert. I also had a non-alcoholic tamarind mule to drink. All the food was interesting and really delicious! No one thing in particular stood out because it was all fantastic. The portions on the entrees and dessert were pretty large - we were all very hungry since we hadn't eaten in a while and the meals were just the right size. The cake was huge - even splitting it three ways, I got a lot. Service was good even though they were busy. Our waiter was very friendly and professional. We didn't have a reservation on Saturday evening but were able to be seated right away. read more
We found Heck's Café through the Karpo app and decided to give it a try since it was conveniently located near our hotel. The first thing we noticed was the atmosphere. The restaurant is beautiful, with an upscale feel that makes for a nice dining experience. The service was also excellent--friendly, attentive, and efficient throughout our visit. We started with the Buffalo Cauliflower and Chicken Potstickers as appetizers. Both portions were a decent size, but the cauliflower was unfortunately very greasy, which made it difficult to enjoy. The potstickers were better, but neither appetizer was particularly memorable. For our entrées, we ordered the Strawberry Fattoush Salad and a Heckburger. The burger was solid and enjoyable, but the salad was disappointing. Fattoush salads are typically packed with fresh ingredients and bold flavors, but this version was mostly romaine lettuce and lacked the vibrant flavor profile we expected. At $14, it also felt underwhelming for the price. Overall, the atmosphere and service were the highlights of our visit. While the food was okay, it didn't live up to the restaurant's upscale ambiance or pricing. There are plenty of dining options in the area, and based on our experience, I think there are better places to spend your dining dollars. read more

We ordered the Avon burger and fire burger and upgraded to rosemary fries and potato wedges. The burgers were great, although the fire burger tasted like a regular plain burger. The fries were hand-cut and quite decent! Also got a side of Mac n cheese which was not bad, but it also wasn't good. Kind of velveeta? The place is marketed as high end and the ambiance is fancy, but the food isn't really gourmet. Food was brought out quickly, and the server was nice enough. read more

Went for an early birthday dinner with my family. The space is open and airy. Had a fun time with delicious food and drinks. Our server was very friendly and made great drink recommendations. My guys all had burgers I enjoyed the salmon burger and rosemary fries after we devoured the tuna nachos my favorite on the menu. read more
Good food and service. I stumbled onto this place and had no background info prior to walking in. They had good happy hour specials both food and drink. I had the NY strip and it was good. Personally, I don't like when the steak is cut up for me. Just a preference. It came with roasted peppers and fried potato wedges. They were good but I prefer a sauce or ketchup which they provided when requested. The French onion soup was good. All the food was slightly warm, not hot. No biggie. I would return. read more

First of all I loved the vibe of the building it's very well decorated with a nice ambiance. Our server was very attentive and nice. We came right at opening for a Saturday brunch and left full and happy! We got the Ohio breakfast and the Baklava French toast. read more
This place does a delicious burger that's super juicy and flavorful. My friend and I ordered the Avon Burger and the Market Burger. We each loved the variety of creative toppings and thought the flavors complimented one another perfectly. The eggplant dip was the low point of the meal as we thought it had a bizarre flavor. They have a nice enough patio that we sat on and the inside decor looks cool too! Our service was good too! I'll definitely be back! read more
We started with the tamarind jalapeño margarita and upbeat drink and they were both phenomenal. We then had the brieberry Burger and blackened salmon burger with fries and grilled vegetables. Everything was excellent. Something you just a good burger and Heck's delivers on that. As well you want good fries to pair with your burger and these fries delivered. We had a mixed experience last night. The location is very nice with a casual atmosphere. We were seated quickly, and our server promptly took our drink order. I had a delicious bacon Bloody Mary. We ordered appetizers--roasted eggplant spread and calamari--which were both tasty and sized for sharing. For our entrees, I had the Beachwood burger, and my wife ordered the salmon burger without tomatoes. The food arrived quickly. My burger looked great, but my wife's had tomatoes on it despite her request. She informed the server, who took it back and returned two minutes later with the same burger, now without tomatoes. Since my wife is allergic to raw tomatoes, she asked for it to be remade. They complied and remade the burger. My burger was cooked to a perfect medium, but the meat lacked seasoning, which was disappointing for an $18 burger. Also my fries were supposed to be rosemary, but I didn't taste any. My wife enjoyed her salmon burger but noted that the seasoning was only on the outside of the patty. It might have been an off night for the kitchen, so I'll give it another try, but for now, it's a 3-star experience at best. Full disclosure, they did comp the Salmon burger and offered us complimentary desserts. read more
We went here for a family dinner. While it was nice to spend time with family, I don't have to return. This place was just okay. Nothing over the top, just your typical restaurant. The place is nice, with a wide open floor plan. They have an upstairs, but I needed the opportunity to see what was up there. The one thing that did catch my attention was the floor. It was slippery, like it was covered in oil. I wonder if that was from the cleaner they were using or if the floors had an oily film from the back and forth from the kitchen. Our server was pretty cool, but he was working his but off. I can appreciate his efforts because he had two large parties, and he kept up with the pace and requirements of each party. The staff was friendly, so the place is really an okay spot. I just wasn't impressed with the food. We ordered calamari, lobster croquettes, the Market Burger, and the Lamb Shank, a special item. They were okay, but nothing made me scream, "I must try that again!" The lamb shank was underseasoned, but it was very tender. The market burger wasn't that bad and was a good recommendation by the server. I might stop by again, but that's probably if nothing else is available. read more
