Awesome cute Jewish diner. Looks like a little roadside diner inside and out. Decorated for Hanukkah. Staff is super friendly and family owned. Food was perfect. Can't wait to come back to try the specials.

The theme of end of summer travel has been hitting diners for brunch/breakfast. This was probably the 3rd or 4th diner we have hit in the last couple weeks so the bar is pretty high here... LOL!!!!! Restaurant is quaint and definitely has the diner vibe going on. You can tell the diner has been really loved and needs some TLC but often times that is a sign of great food. BLT sandwich was excellent and the bite of french toast I had was just the right ending to lunch. Would recommend their side of hand cut fries. Food was great though service was inconsistent. Meal took a long time to come out and others who came in after us had their meals before our meals and we got sandwiches. Also, one of the sandwiches was not as order. Diner was busy and was hard to get service. Would highly recommend diner does get busy on weekends do plan accordingly

I just can't stop eating this waffle! It was huge and perfectly crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside!

If you are looking for a homey family style eatery, this is the place. The waitresses were talking to long time customers but still made us first timers feel welcome. My waffle was fantastic, but there was a texture issue with the eggs Benedict. Peggy, our waitress was attentive and friendly without crowding us at all. A definite throwback to the 50's and well worth the trip.

On our way home we wanted to get a bite to eat before heading back to Mansfield. We liked the classic diner facade and interior. Our waitress was fast and friendly. We decided on breakfast. My wife ordered their short stack with a side of sausage while I ordered the two egg breakfast with Gyro meat. The pancakes were huge and fluffy and I thought the quasi Greek breakfast was absolutely delicious! So happy we stopped in!

Mine: omelet was very good Fries were an affront to humanity. Zero crisp. All grease Partner: onion rings were amazing "Cheese" on burger tasted sour and ruined anything redeeming about the burger. The server was great! Andrea? Something like that. Very nice young lady on top of refills. The fries really were a travesty.

Stop at the Village Diner today. We had been by many times, on our way to Mike's Farmers Market. This is a cute, retro diner. The staff was friendly and welcoming. They have a great menu of food you would expect to see at a diner. My husband ordered the Peantbutter and jelly stuffed French toast. I had the original sourdough French toast. The food came out quickly. It was delicious!!! I highly recommend a trip to the Village Diner. You won't be disappointed!

Small cite actual mobile diner from yesteryear. Service was mediocre, very greeindly but not particularly efficient. When she delivered my don his OJ she spilled akot on the table, said whoops ans never wiped it up. It was not a busybmorning. Our food was about the same. My sons waffle wasnt cooked inside, he ate the chicken off the top, the server didnt even notice she cleared a plate with an entire waffle on it. I had lox and scrambled eggs, which was mostly undercooked onion. They tried with the hashbrowns, they used a fresh potato...but they were greasy and not crispy- bake your potatoes til they are just done, then cool them, peel and run through a cheesegrater. Hashbrowns will be crispy and starchy, and cook much faster. No charge for the advice. Dont eat here.

I really like this place. This is a longtime established restaurant, and upon visiting I understand why it's been around for so long. If you like those old style diners, this is the place for you. The old school ambiance makes it very inviting. All of your traditional breakfast favorites are on the menu - home fries, eggs any way, breakfast meats, on and on, and they are prepared very well. The service was also great to complement the food. I could eat breakfast at any hour so I wish the hours were longer. Still, I'll be back to this popular little neighborhood corner diner.

My husband and I were in Cleveland for a conference, and we decided to check out The Village Diner for an early Saturday morning breakfast before our drive home to Indiana. At first glance, I loved the architecture- a retro exterior, so we definitely had to try it. We were welcomed by a friendly waitstaff, and after we were seated our friendly server quickly served our drinks and took our order. My gyro breakfast was very delicious, and I especially enjoyed the thicker than usual toast. Our coffee cups were refreshed often, and it certainly helped start our day for the drive home. We are glad we took the chance with this charming diner!!

Visiting Cleveland this week. Thanks to Yelp thought I would try the Village Diner. Got here a little before noon just before the lunch rush. Looks like the "locals/regulars" eat here often. Love it when people are greeted on a first name basis. The Mushroom cheese burger was very good. Love when the cheese is melted under the broiler. Fries served nice and hot. The place is very clean. People are friendly. Worth a visit.

Sorry if I'm giving you whiplash. But like.... things change ok? Hahah. The food is decent, really. Depending on who is cooking it varies between 3-4 stars. The cleanliness though. Barf. Thinking about it gives me the heebie jeebies. Once there was food caked to the silverware. Another time there was lipstick prints on a cup. This time there were weird floaty things in the water that no matter how many new glasses we asked for, they were there. At this point, even though I don't mind their food at all, I'm not going back. The health department needs to get in there stat!

The environment is classy and the interior design is lovely, but it's still pretty casual. The inside definitely beats the patio for atmosphere; the patio area is pretty plain, but it looks like you can sit outside with your dog. Everyone really enjoyed the food. We shared the truffle pierogies for an appetizer, I had the shoka bowl for my entree, and we shared the sticky toffee cake for dessert. I also had a non-alcoholic tamarind mule to drink. All the food was interesting and really delicious! No one thing in particular stood out because it was all fantastic. The portions on the entrees and dessert were pretty large - we were all very hungry since we hadn't eaten in a while and the meals were just the right size. The cake was huge - even splitting it three ways, I got a lot. Service was good even though they were busy. Our waiter was very friendly and professional. The restaurant is beautiful, with an upscale feel that makes for a nice dining experience. The service was also excellent--friendly, attentive, and efficient throughout our visit. We started with the Buffalo Cauliflower and Chicken Potstickers as appetizers. Both portions were a decent size, but the cauliflower was unfortunately very greasy, which made it difficult to enjoy. The potstickers were better, but neither appetizer was particularly memorable. For our entrées, we ordered the Strawberry Fattoush Salad and a Heckburger. The burger was solid and enjoyable, but the salad was disappointing. Fattoush salads are typically packed with fresh ingredients and bold flavors, but this version was mostly romaine lettuce and lacked the vibrant flavor profile we expected. At $14, it also felt underwhelming for the price. Overall, the atmosphere and service were the highlights of our visit. While the food was okay, it didn't live up to the restaurant's upscale ambiance or pricing. There are plenty of dining options in the area, and based on our experience, I think there are better places to spend your dining dollars.

To my surprise there was a Restaurant in a glass atrium and gave me vibes of being back in Orange County, CA or LA. We had reservations at 11:30 am. and arrived at 11:15 am. We were asked to wait. There seemed to be a lot of employees walking around and many tables were open but seemingly still had to wait. So 15 minutes later we were taken to our table. The air conditioning was definitely on point so bring a jacket. Our server warmly welcomed us and wished me well for Father's Day. Shockingly the restaurant didn't do anything special for fathers as a complimentary gesture. The server took our drink orders and waters came within minutes and after that everything went into "SLOW MODE". My daughter's Cesar salad came in about 20 minutes from the order. Our main entrees came out (1) Hour after the salad and my lamb chops and potatoes were warm at best. The flavor for the lamb-chops were wonderful but the potatoes were very salty. I would skip on the green beans as they had no flavor and only topped with kosher salt. My wife enjoyed her breakfast plate and the sausages were HUGE. The pancakes seemed to be the big hit. They were sharply thin and had amazing vanilla flavor on their own and were wonderful without maple syrup. They didn't last long as my daughter devoured my wife's portion. My daughter liked her truffle fries but had some challenges with the Steak Sandwich as her jaws were hurting after eating the first half. The type of roll used is very chewy and unfamiliar as we are originally from Philadelphia. (I know, bad decision) but she had her choice. No sweet treats for us. The ambiance is amazing but I would say that we would return. The food was fine except for my temperature but our issue was predominantly the wait time. Happy Father's Day

This time, I brought my family along for lunch, and it did not disappoint! We took advantage of their happy hour specials, which included half-off pizzas, select appetizers, and drinks. The flavors were perfectly balanced, and every bite was delicious. We also ordered the whipped feta, which was simply divine and a must-try. For our entrées, one person ordered the pepperoni pizza and really enjoyed it. I had the sausage pasta, which was fresh, flavorful, and surprisingly light while still being incredibly satisfying. The third entrée was the Thai noodles , and it was another hit. Everyone commented on how fresh and well-prepared their meal was. The service, as always, was impeccable. We were greeted immediately and seated right away. What really stands out about this restaurant is the teamwork. Everyone pitches in, whether it's bringing out food, clearing plates, or noticing your water glass is getting low. It doesn't matter if they're your server or not--they make sure you're taken care of, and that level of hospitality really makes a difference. The restaurant is also spotless, and I love that the open kitchen allows you to watch the team preparing the food. It adds to the overall experience and shows how much care goes into every dish.
