a breakfast of eggs, toast and sausage
    Mellissa M.

This was my first time in the Midwest & my first experience at an authentic diner. My mom & I came in for breakfast on Halloween & all of the waitresses were wearing super cute, fun costumes. They were extremely kind to us! I got the two egg breakfast with turkey sausage, eggs scrambled with cheese, and French toast plus coffee. Our waitress was fantastic & kept the coffee flowing at all times. Our food took a long time even though it wasn't too busy, which our waitress apologized for multiple times & said she was keeping an eye out for our orders, so we totally understood. I also saw that others got their food relatively quickly, so I'm sure it was a fluke. The portions were huge & food delicious. The French toast & eggs were piping hot, while the turkey sausage was a bit lukewarm -- probably my fault for ordering turkey sausage at a diner. My mom got her meal with blueberry pancakes, which were amazing & chock full of fresh berries. The prices are unbelievable for the quality & size -- the two egg breakfast (which comes with French toast or pancakes!) is just $6.

Amazing BBQ! Wow, this place is legit. I will be back. Pictured: potato pancakes with brisket, pulled pork sandwich and Ruben.

    First time at Landmark Diner.

First time here at the suggestion of a Cousin. Its COVID time; therefore, masks are required while not eating and social distance measures are in affect. Well kept place on St. Clair seems to be a staple in the community and many members seem to come. I ordered the Double Vision which was 2 pancakes, 2 french toast, 2 orders of bacon, 2 sausage links and I added a 50/50 of grits and hashbrowns. Everything was good and I'll be back to try two more things.

Clean diner, kind of expensive and the lady that took my order on the phone was rushing me.

Western omelet with hashbrowns and a side of grits.

Ate here today for the first time. I had the western omelet with hashbrowns, side of grits with cheese, and rye toast. My wife had a similar combo but with a veggie omlet. Very tasty and plentiful. Good food and great value. Very nice folks. We will return.

I just get a simple breakfast. That's all. They are good for

We got the tostada and the biscuits and gravy. The tostada was a work of art! And bursting with flavor. The biscuits and gravy. Where to start? The biscuit was super flaky, moist, cut in half and filled with scrambled eggs that seemed to be layered. The whole thing was covered with a gravy, chock full of sausage and, perfectly cooked mushrooms. I got a sweet potato cinnamon bun to go. Can't wait to try that later today!

Both were delicious! The biscuit was perfectly buttery, and it was covered in a rich, flavorful mushroom gravy and came with scrambled eggs. It was filling but somehow not too heavy. I licked my plate clean. The pancake was also wonderful. It was topped with a thin layer of rhubarb jam that brought a nice tartness along with a dollop of sorghum butter and whipped cream, and served with Ohio maple syrup on the side. I could have easily had a whole stack of the pancakes. The staff was friendly, and though the place was busy, the service was efficient. Excited to come here again! We loved learning that orders are meant to be shared, and everything comes out fresh from the kitchen when they're finished preparing it. We decided to be adventurous and do the Bellie Up - and couldn't have had a better experience. Although we didn't get to choose any of the meals in the courses, there wasn't a single dish we had that we didn't go back for a second bite. Everything was paired perfectly and tasted delicious. There were multiple things we had that we would've never ordered for ourselves, and some of those items we ended up absolutely loving! The staff are ridiculously knowledgeable about the food and drink options, and we got to box up everything we didn't eat to take home. We will absolutely be back to celebrate our special moments. P.S. - If you don't get the fried chicken, you wasted your trip.

There were a bunch of regulars sitting at the counter and chatting it up with the servers. We grabbed a table and were greeted right away. The server checked on us often but didn't smother us. We also witnessed a lot of folks coming in to grab to-go orders. The menu is very simple and straightforward. They serve breakfast all day and lunch service begins at 11am. We both had breakfast. Between us, we had scrambled eggs with cheese, eggs fried over-medium, bacon, French toast, pancakes and potatoes. Everything was decent. I wished that the cheese had been cooked into the scrambled eggs and allowed to melt, but that was okay. Also, the texture of the breakfast potatoes were like mashed potatoes that had been smashed and burned on the flattop grill. We weren't a fan of those. Overall, the place was cute and quaint and the staff was friendly. Everything was priced very reasonably as well. Also, anywhere you can find the locals at is usually a good sign!
