Friendly faces at this old school diner. A great community gathering place. We sat at the counter. Waitress greeted us right away, took our drink order and gave us menu's. Lots of staple breakfast and lunch diner items but also some unique offerings. My son got the eggs with salmon patties, i got the three eggs breakfast with grits and home fries. Total bill was under $20. Food was made with love and everything tasted great. Portion size was filling. I'll be back soon. read more

I met with five friends for breakfast before a funeral for a friend. We went to landmark four of us got breakfast and one got a sandwich. Everyone was friendly. The service was great and the food was very very good. I got the spinach feta omelette. You could tell a lot of the people in there were regulars. And I love a neighborhood kind of place. I made sure that I tipped well and gave the kitchen a personal thumbs up. Thank you, landmark! Hmmm... well, I feel set up for disappointment. Based my pick to come here on two menu photos here in Yelp. Was looking forward to ordering a bowl of some sort. Those menus do NOT go with this Landmark Restaurant! But I drove separate from my mom, so we just went with it. We were there for lunch, but their specialty is clearly breakfast. This is an inexpensive place, so kudos for that. The service was good. The bathroom was clean. And I enjoyed the chicken & rice soup. The tuna melt was edible, but not much more. I have been going here for years. everything was fine until they hired that asshole, Steve. He takes the orders on the phone now. Well, speaking from personal experience. My coworkers and I are regulars. Sometimes its 2 orders sometimes its 5. I called to place an order, one Friday but couldn't get through. I have my coworker call she gets through. Only to find out this fool Steve. is hanging up on me fearing I was going to make more than one order. I'm not sure if he's not competent enough to take multiple orders or just a freaking jerk. Either way STEVE is BAD for BUSINESS. I spoke to the owner Cali. In one ear and out the other. Like talking to a brick wall. Fake fake fake. Well again CALI.... STEVE IS BAD FOR YOUR BUSINESS. The one star is not for the Restautant but for the new hire, Steve the jerk (the bad apple of the bunch). Everyone else that works there is great. read more

This was my first time in the Midwest & my first experience at an authentic diner. My mom & I came in for breakfast on Halloween & all of the waitresses were wearing super cute, fun costumes. They were extremely kind to us! I got the two egg breakfast with turkey sausage, eggs scrambled with cheese, and French toast plus coffee. Our waitress was fantastic & kept the coffee flowing at all times. Our food took a long time even though it wasn't too busy, which our waitress apologized for multiple times & said she was keeping an eye out for our orders, so we totally understood. I also saw that others got their food relatively quickly, so I'm sure it was a fluke. The portions were huge & food delicious. The French toast & eggs were piping hot, while the turkey sausage was a bit lukewarm -- probably my fault for ordering turkey sausage at a diner. My mom got her meal with blueberry pancakes, which were amazing & chock full of fresh berries. The prices are unbelievable for the quality & size -- the two egg breakfast (which comes with French toast or pancakes!) is just $6. read more

First time here at the suggestion of a Cousin. Its COVID time; therefore, masks are required while not eating and social distance measures are in affect. Well kept place on St. Clair seems to be a staple in the community and many members seem to come. I ordered the Double Vision which was 2 pancakes, 2 french toast, 2 orders of bacon, 2 sausage links and I added a 50/50 of grits and hashbrowns. Why go to Angela's when you can go to Landmark? My husband and I are not from the area and tried both out. At landmark everyone is down to earth, very nice environment and the food is delicious! Ate here today for the first time. I had the western omelet with hashbrowns, side of grits with cheese, and rye toast. My wife had a similar combo but with a veggie omlet. Very tasty and plentiful. Good food and great value. Very nice folks. We will return. read more

I LOVE landmark, it is my go to breakfast spot! If you end up there on a sunday be prepared for a huge church crowd but amazingly enough they are able to accomodate their guests without a long wait. Its your pretty typical quick meal diner and the staff is at the top of the list for hustlers of cleveland. They get food to and from tables with lightening speed. I ordered a bacon cheese omelet and although she messed up she corrected her mistake and i ended up with two omelets, one of which i gave to a gentleman i saw standing on a nearby corner ( i know i enabled him but he was hungry), and my bill was not over charged for a mistake. My kids loved their pancakes and sausage, french toast and hash browns. It was all perfect and flavorful and came out pipping hot! this is the way breakfast is supposed to be served and it seriously reminds me of jersey diners! read more

Made a date with a friend to dine at the Landmark because our previous visits were delightful. Good food and good staff. Only this time it was quite different. My friend came to the table visibly upset because they told her she had to stay outside on the sidewalk. It is clear that even though this establishment has been in business for decades they are ignorant of ADA laws. Management demanded paperwork and verification in the form of a tag to justify her service dog. This is not even a thing and against the ADA. Then, even after sharing the ADA law via an official gov doc with management staff was told to ignore us. How dare they treat a disabled person in such a way. People do not choose to be epileptic. The restaurant was takeout only when we visited and they were very friendly and helpful and I felt safe coming in to order. We stopped here because many of the restaurants on the street were crowded or not answering the phone. They get two stars for the friendliness and set up for COVID protection and speed of having food ready. read more

I made a previous review granting praises but sadly, I have to recant. The place is clean at first glance but upon further inspection you'll find that it is quite the contrary. Fly traps adorn the walls poorly hidden by the dusty fake plants. The food is ok if you're hungry enough and it's pretty cheap. That's about the only good thing I can say about the place. Sherri was lovely, both times I've been she was a delight. Took care of me quickly and was always smiling and really nice. If your looking for a quick bite, I recommend dining out. read more

One of the top family restaurants in all of Cleveland. Friendly personable staff always ready to serve you and never treat you as if you're just money. I usually go there and get their BLT which is to die for. You can sit in or order out which is absolutely amazing when you're in a rush in the morning. read more

Live far from this restaurant, visiting a family member that lives close. Was very amazed how fresh the food is and cooked to perfection, paid for breakfast at many expensive restaurant but most do not come close to this little gem that was a surprised in the area.
