    Chicken Alfredo

Visited Capriccios for the first time on Christmas Eve. What a great experience starting with the free valet parking to the great food. I sat at the bar and got great service. They have a nice happy hour that includes food and beverages. I had the meatball bombs on the happy hour menu and a glass of Pinot Noir. The bombs were the bomb! I also placed a to go order of Shrimp Fra Diavolo and chicken Alfredo from the BYO pasta section. Both were large portions and very good. The Diavolo had great heat and was perfect for me. All the packaging was very nice. A super quaint Italian bistro that has great food and service. I can't wait to return and have dinner again.

Capriccio's may be new to Solon, but judging by the consistently packed parking lot, word has already spread--and for good reason! This spot brings a shareable Italian dining experience, meaning large portions that don't compromise on flavor. For me, the true test of an Italian restaurant is its red sauce, and Capriccio's nailed it--fresh, flavorful, and perfectly balanced. Whether poured over pasta or served alongside hearty entrées, you can taste the quality in every bite. And speaking of pasta, they make theirs fresh, which adds an extra layer of authenticity and texture to every dish! Beyond the incredible food, they offer craft cocktails, which immediately caught my attention because, well, I'm a low-key cocktail snob--the more intricate, the better! Their drinks are thoughtfully prepared, adding a perfect complement to the meal. Now, let's talk about dessert--because their Biscoff cheesecake is TOP TIER. Creamy, rich, and full of that buttery Biscoff goodness, it's a must-try. The server was very attentive and knowledgeable. Tip: Make a reservation Capriccio's is tucked away enough to make it an ideal date night spot--whether with your partner or your sneaky link (no judgment here!). I'll definitely be back for more of their authentic flavors and cozy vibes!

The food was delicious and the service was great. Unfortunately they were short staffed so what was meant to be a quick dinner was quite lengthy however the manager and staff were gracious and attentive. Will definitely return.

I have avoided writing a bad review but now I have to. In the past & (on Open Table too) I gave this restaurant 5 stars but something has changed. We have eaten there in person & done takeout. Tonight was a "second chance" takeout order because the previous takeout order was a huge disappointment & for the first time. This order was the same as that previous one of 2 chicken parmigiana dinners. The same thing happened again. The sauce was sour & both times there was very little sauce on the pasta. How do you skimp with spaghetti sauce? Last December when my son ordered the chicken parmigiana the underside was burned completely black. They have a burrata salad on the menu that we have always loved but tonight I was told they no longer offer it. Disappointed

Always look for a great Italian restaurant when out of town. This spot recently opened maybe 6 to 8 weeks ago. Ok before I get to the food, have to talk about the inside. The setup sorry to say is awful! If you do not like small spaces this is not the spot for you. I hate small spaces, so the ambiance really ruined the experience for me. There is a large like L shaped booth with four tables in front of them. It felt like we were eating with the tables to each side of us, it is that close. And don't be on the bigger side you will not slide into that booth with our knocking the other tables. The tables themselves were a very small area was difficult to hold our plates and drinks and menu at same time. I had put the menus next to me on the booth. So yes definitely was not a fan of that. Now the food and service. Service was good. Our server, she was very nice, friendly. The food was good as well. If I lived here, I would have to order take out. Started the meal with biscoff martini, which unfortunately I did not like, it was very coffee/espresso forward and I hate coffee. Ended up trying the Millie vanilie was okay. Husband got a nice bourbon pour. For our appetizer, we tried their stuffed hot peppers. I loved them, they were filled nicely with sausage and cheese and topped with tons of marinara. My main dish was the chicken Milanese, again a grand slam here. Was very very good. The chicken was fried golden perfection with a moist chicken inside. With a side argula salad with a lemon vingerette and Parm cheese. There was a side of a creme fraiche sauce which was amazing, I ordered more to go. It was tangy with a hint of spice, thinking a roasted red pepper of some sort, delicious. I ordered a side of their smashed crispy Parmesan fingerlings. Again very good, crispy outside fluffy inside. The hubby got the chicken Parm and biscoff cheese cake, he enjoyed both. Their portion sizes are huge and for the price can't beat it. When you see the pictures, each of our main plate dishes were only 24.00, so definitely great value.

Cleveland eat find. Recently opened Italian restaurant. Definitely would make reservation it gets busy and space is small. There is a parking lot, which they valet, that was little weird, as the lot is like right behind the restaurant not sure why it's a valet. But it is free so. The food was good. Portion sizes were very large, definitely leaving with leftovers. Our server was attentive and nice. Had the stuffed hot peppers which were ok. Three peppers in the serving. The filler, sausage and cheese was good..I like my peppers little softer but that's a personal preference as my wife loved the peppers. For my meal had the chicken parmesan. I couldn't believe my eyes when the plate came, so much food. It was very good. Pasta definitely made fresh. Very good dish. For dessert got the biscoff cheesecake. Great way end the meal. This cheesecake was delicious.

YA'LL - idk if you follow me or not but either way, please know that I KNOW my Italian food and this spot truly impressed and needs to be a top spot to visit for you this year. I am enthralled by how good the chicken piccata was - and they were out of capers but I'm telling you this flavor was incredible and I could genuinely drink the sauce. I love a breaded and pan fried piece of chicken for piccata and they did an absolutely phenomenal job. This restaurant has only been open for a few weeks but the service was perfect (thank you Jennifer!!) and we can't wait to come back. From the amazing bread to the oil to dip in and the reasonably priced wine list and homemade pasta - I can never turn down bucatini and it was executed almost to perfection here...I am so happy this place exists!! We got cheesecake to go and I promise to come back to try more because I am already dreaming about the rest of the menu. I rarely give a place 5 stars but I can't think of a reason not to right now. Thank you and I am so looking forward to coming back to try a pizza amongst other things. (One tip - it is VERY loud in here - they may try to do something about this as I assume they will get complaints but just be prepared if you dine here soon!)

Attractive interior design with cool large digital picture frames that change while you are looking at them. The meatballs appetizers are phenomenal, the pizza is delicious, the pastas are excellent, and the garlic bread is amazing (when paired with the red sauce from the meatballs). The manager provided excellent service when they got busy. They get very busy! Be sure to either make a reservation or to show up early.

Started off with bread that came with a great garlic butter. Wish the bread had come out warm but it was good. I had a Caesar salad with shrimp for dinner which was great, filling but still light and the shrimp were fantastic, nice and big and very flavorful. We also ordered Brussels sprouts, fries and "onion rings" for the table. The Brussels were fantastic, probably my best bite of the night. I also really loved the fries, they had the perfect amount of salt which I always appreciate. The onions rings were very good, but I would call them more of onion straws so just be sure you know what you're getting if you grab those. Others at my table enjoyed the burger a lot, as well as the shrimp pasta. A lovely holiday experience overall!

So she chose the Christmas lights of Chagrin Falls and "Odd Fellows Restaurant" which looks out on the Gazebo and all the lights of the square. We arrived at the restaurant and immediately were seated at a comfortable table in the center of the room by a very professional young woman. Very shortly after, the sweetest, most bubbly young lady greeted us and introduced herself as Bianca, our server for the evening. I can't say enough about Bianca. She was absolutely extraordinary. Friendly is an understatement. She had a beautiful smile that never left her face. She was so personable you could not help but feel comfortable in her care for the evening. Throughout the 2+ hours we were in her hands she just kept getting more impressive. If you decide to give "Odd Fellows" a try you would be doing yourself a great service by requesting her as your server for the evening when you make your reservation. Our initial order included refreshing drinks from the bar along with great crusty bread and excellent "Roasted red pepper soup". Very nicely done. We followed that with our entrees. I ordered the "Sesame Tuna" which was very nicely prepared. My wife and sister-in-law had the "Walleye" and they loved it. My brother enjoyed the "Shrimp Bucatini". I must say the kitchen did an exemplary job all evening... Kudos to the entire kitchen staff. We followed dinner with excellent coffee and very nicely presented desserts. A marvelous finish to a marvelous evening at "Odd Fellows". I give them my highest recommendation and encourage you to give them a try. Don't forget to request Bianca -- she is the cherry on top.

Since we were hungry, we followed another yelper's advice of getting an appetizer since we were warned the mains can take 30-40 minutes. Ordered the cracklin wings--got the ghost pepper dry rub which was recommended by the staff who also reassured me that it wasn't too spicy given that it was also sweet and came with ranch. Tasted great, super crispy on the outside, chicken not the most juicy but still tender. 4/5. Also ordered the truffle orcchiette, pork chop, and heirloom carrots. The truffle orcchiette had a great al dente texture but surprisingly compared to the other yelper reviews, was saltier than expected. 4/5 Favorites were definitely the pork chop and heirloom carrots. The pork chop came without the bone, already chopped up, and was the he most tender pork chop I've had. 5/5 The carrots were so well seasoned, with a great charred taste and came with an addicting puree. 5/5 Service was fantastic, with great recommendations. While the birthday guest was away from the table, I did sneakily ask if they do anything for birthdays, and the staff said that they do a scoop of ice cream. Since the sticky toffee pudding already came with a scoop of ice cream, they were considerate to do 2 cookies instead--the cookies weren't too sweet and reminded me of brownie batter. Sticky toffee pudding was good. 4/5 Restaurant is located in Pinecrest so parking available as free parking in a garage about a block away or as pay by mobile street parking. Ambience is great, perfect for a nice meal for a date or hangout. Overall a great place to celebrate a special occasion due to all the good food choices and staff who know how to treat birthday guests well.

I told him I would arrive within 40 mins and he said to just walk-in. The website says this is fine dining so for someone to answer the phone and discourage reservations was skeptical. When we arrived we were told since we didn't have reservations we had to sit outdoors. Now the forecast said rain in 10mins. So we told the lady at the desk that I spoke to the man that also at the door about reservations. She said no problem we waited about 10 minutes and we were seated. Our waitress Abby was amazing! I wanted a wellness drink and they were all out but she suggested other mocktail options. She then asked if we wanted tap water or sparkling bottle water. I was confused that they don't have filtered water. We got the tap and it smelled like sewer. We then asked for a bottle of sparkling water. And realized the glass cups smelled bad. If you want a wellness drink arrive early when they open around 11am. It was 1pm when I ordered my food. I ordered the Farmer's breakfast, it came with Two eggs any style, choice of crispy bacon or chicken sausage, grilled sourdough, potatoes. The potatoes were crumbs and left overs, a scoop of potatoes. For a $19 meal I couldn't believe what I was being served. The chicken sausage was amazing! The sourdough bread was grilled with no oil or butter. I asked for jelly thinking they would have compote. Instead they have mini jars of jelly. The main difference is that jam is a shelf-stable, fruit-puree preserve made with high amounts of sugar and added pectin. Compote is a chunkier, less sugary fruit sauce cooked quickly without pectin and meant to be eaten fresh. My husband had the Last Chicken Sandwich, which he said was good but the sandwich didn't come with a side just a $18 chicken sandwich that tasted wonderful.

The food was overall, very bland. It was expertly prepared, fresh, and beautiful. But the taste was quite boring. Be prepared to eat a second dinner when you get home. The server/ bartender (I'm pretty sure she was running the whole place) Nikki, was phenomenal. So friendly, good drinks. We started with the oysters which were good. The mignonette sauce was a little different, it had lemon zest in it. It was very good! But the give you laughable amount. Like, a splash. Then we had the fig and prosciutto toast. This was the highlight for us. Tasty all the way around, 4 generous servings on the plate. Jam was so good and the prosciutto was warmed up ever so slightly. I had the hangar steak with some unseasoned boiled carrots. The steak was tender and high quality, but I couldn't taste a bit of seasoning. Also served with a tiny crispy potato pancake. Husband had the halibut special. This had some wasabi crust and if you got a bite of the wasabi it was good. The bites that weren't crusted were boring fish. Again, very fresh and prepared well. Black rice and asparagus also boring. I got a hint of lemon on one bite I tried. We also had the Brussels sprouts, which were charred along with the few pork belly pieces. Husband finished with a whiskey crème brûlée which he enjoyed. He did not, however, enjoy his Dark and Stormy. He said it was all booze and no beer or mix. Sadly, we won't be back.
