Hot take: Many people have said that the food just isn't worth the price here. I have to say I disagree!! We for sure got our moneys worth. I have also seen comments that it is too loud and that was not our experience at all. We sat at the two person booth on the wall right as you walked in and had no problems. Went back to Delmonico's and it somehow topped my last visit. The steak was unreal, perfect char on the outside, super juicy inside. Bourbon peppercorn sauce paired perfectly, and the truffle butter was incredible. Tried the blackened scallops on our server's recommendation and they were phenomenal. Honestly didn't expect much from the sides, but the twice-baked loaded potato and Brussels sprouts were both spot on. Everything was just done right. Started with lobster bisque. It was outstanding. Then I had a ribeye with truffle butter, it was tasteless and dry. Ordered twice baked potato and it was ok, should have tried the garlic mashed. I also added the Brussels sprouts and I must say they served a large portion. I would have appreciated the large portion more if they weren't burnt. Wow! Great atmosphere, excellent service and delicious food! We had dinner here last night which was a Friday. We didn't have a reservation but we were seated right away. The lobster bisque was so delicious! Rich and full of flavor. The meatballs were really scrumptious! Very tender and res the best I have had thus far. My husband had the Delmonico with onions and mushrooms. It was cooked a perfect medium rare and absolutely delicious. I had the scallops with cauliflower purée, roasted carrots and apple chutney. Dined here last week for my birthday and they did a good job making me feel special! Our server, Erin, was excellent. She was really sweet and easy to chat with and offered to take our picture as a celebratory memento. I ordered the Chilean sea bass and it was well prepared. I realized later that they had forgotten the asparagus that was supposed to accompany it and they brought us an extra birthday dessert as an apology! We went over Valentine's Day weekend, and service and ambience was great, but I thought the food was just okay. The slightly bigger steaks allows you to choose a sauce and add extra for a "style", but I don't think the addition of the style is worth it. The Oscar style only came with a few pieces (3) of asparagus and crab meat for $16. If I would have known of the sizing, I would have gotten a side instead. Visited this week for a business dinner. There were a lot of us in a back room, so your results may vary from mine. Overall, I really enjoyed the evening, the location and the staff. The place outside looked like a strip mall but inside looked like a real deal steakhouse. From the bar back, things looked refined & relaxed. Enjoyed the stay. Since we were a large-ish group, I was there a while and was never uncomfortable. The staff were efficient, good, and light-humored in a grumpy way. It wasn't like they were seriously angry, just as if being put off was part of the schtick. Light-heartedly put off would be the summary. As if everything was a bother and an inconvenience, but maybe not really. After a couple drinks, didn't even notice any more. I started with a Negroni and wanted to hug the bartender. I don't often go with them, I usually like something fruity. But in a steak restaurant with a lot of business friends, I had to act macho and didn't regret it. Negroni's often are made poorly and like scallops, when not done well --- Oof! These were prefect. For an appetizer, salad I decided to go with the lobster bisque. I thought it was a great choice. It was very tasty, a lot of it and a TON of actual protein in it. Lots of nice, delicate chunks of real lobster meat. Well done there. Since I was in a seafood mood in a steak restaurant, I went with the Surf & Turf. I'm a rube, so I ordered the steak portion in medium. For a steak restaurant I was sorely surprised with the meat. I would just give it an OK. I was looking for outstanding, but that just didn't do it. A bit overcooked (even for a medium!) and I almost had the aftertaste of a piece of liver. Not as tasty as I would have wanted. On reflection, I should have gotten some sort of saucy side to cover it. I hate to recommend adding it (I was taught BBQ sauce hides poor brisket), but it is what it is. However, the lobster was really good. It wasn't a large thing. An over sized prawn. But it was tasty and filleted out for you so it was even easier to eat. The asparagus and mashed potatoes with it were par for the course. As a business meal - recommended and would do it again. We've wanted to try this place for years, but live on the East side, so haven't made it here until now. It did not disappoint! Our waitress was amazing and we loved that she was honest w her feedback about the menu. I started w the Delmonico salad and it was the best combo of dressing and Parmesan cheese that was sprinkled in. I ordered the 8 oz filet with black and blue cheese topping. She was upfront that it could be salty, and it def was but that's how I like it. Husband ordered the Delmonico ribeye with extra onions and he said it melted in his mouth. Service was prompt, attentive but not overly so, and they brought me a slice of cheesecake on the house for my birthday. Altogether a great experience. Didn't know the tip was included in the bill so I way over tipped for adequate service. I had a chance to go to this restaurant recently and 5 stars wasn't enough. The food came out and it was wonderful. The calamari came out and it was a little under done for my taste, the manager came out with a fresh crispy batch and it was amazing. Our server was sensational I had the Chicken Marsala and it was PERFECT! Also had the lobster tail with melted butter, I did add some salt and pepper to both the butter for the bread and the butter, but I guess that personal preference because they were both pretty bland, but other than that, drinks were great, food was great, the outside seating was really nice, when the sun goes down they have this lavender/purple like that creates a really nice ambiance outside. Highly recommended and would go again, but make sure that your pockets are heavy, when the tab comes it's not for the weak lol read more

Nancy was running the bar and the booths in the bar area and did fantastic and was always there when I needed more wine or bread etc. the food was very good and flavorful. The steak was cooked perfectly and had the right amount of seasonings. The potatoes were good as well but it's hard to mess up mashed potatoes. Both of my co-workers got appetizers (wedge salad and crab bisque soup) and they both enjoyed them. We all had a few mixed drinks from the bar, and they were all good as well. We recently visited Delmonico's for my 33rd birthday. My husband had been there previously with his dad but I had never been. It's a nice place, felt cozy and perfect evening lighting. My husband basically had an order planned before we sat down. We met Ethan first, he was a serving assistant who promptly got us set up with waters. Then we met Antoine, our server. He was very friendly and nice. My husband loved their gin selection, they had his favorite which he doesn't see in restaurants very often. We got 2 dirty martinis which were great. Bread came quickly and was nice and warm. My husband got the lobster bisque which was the best thing we tried. It was so good, I should have ordered my own. We split the chilled seafood tower, it was good, oysters were tiny but that is a seasonal thing, we know better but seafood is my favorite and it was my bday! Anyways, we also got the Delmonico steak Oscar style, it was okay, my husband enjoyed it, but I don't think it's what I would order next time. Next time I WILL be getting my own bowl of lobster bisque. When we were ending the meal Antoine asked if there was anything else, my husband had to ask for a dessert menu which made me feel bad like maybe he wanted us to go and not stay for dessert so I mentioned forgetting it but my husband said crème brulee was my favorite so I deserved it on my bday and ordered it, it was pretty good.
