Had reservations for our Anniversary dinner tonight, service was great the waiter was attentive and helpful with selections, the steak was tender and delicious. The ambience is always great at this location. Always a favorite spot.

We celebrated Christmas with dinner at Delmonicos and it did not disappoint. Our server was very attentive and made nice wine recommendations. They had a great wine selection and romantic ambience. The lobster bisque truly is to die for as is the béarnaise.

Birthday and apology desserts!

Dined here last week for my birthday and they did a good job making me feel special! Our server, Erin, was excellent. She was really sweet and easy to chat with and offered to take our picture as a celebratory memento. I ordered the Chilean sea bass and it was well prepared. I realized later that they had forgotten the asparagus that was supposed to accompany it and they brought us an extra birthday dessert as an apology! Great service and tasty food...the mocktails especially blew us away. They were so unique and delicious! The restaurant is pricey, but you get what you pay for. We will be back for sure. Thank you, Delmonico's!

Service was fast even though they're always busy. Drinks are always good and the food is always consistently good. I love the oysters or any of the seafood towers. I always get a ribeye or filet, this time I got the surf and turf and it was 10/10. Will be returning always.

Surf & turf: Ok steak; better lobster.

Visited this week for a business dinner. There were a lot of us in a back room, so your results may vary from mine. Overall, I really enjoyed the evening, the location and the staff. The place outside looked like a strip mall but inside looked like a real deal steakhouse. From the bar back, things looked refined & relaxed. Enjoyed the stay. Since we were a large-ish group, I was there a while and was never uncomfortable. The staff were efficient, good, and light-humored in a grumpy way. It wasn't like they were seriously angry, just as if being put off was part of the schtick. Light-heartedly put off would be the summary. As if everything was a bother and an inconvenience, but maybe not really. After a couple drinks, didn't even notice any more. I started with a Negroni and wanted to hug the bartender. I don't often go with them, I usually like something fruity. But in a steak restaurant with a lot of business friends, I had to act macho and didn't regret it. Negroni's often are made poorly and like scallops, when not done well --- Oof! These were prefect. For an appetizer, salad I decided to go with the lobster bisque. I thought it was a great choice. It was very tasty, a lot of it and a TON of actual protein in it. Lots of nice, delicate chunks of real lobster meat. Well done there. Since I was in a seafood mood in a steak restaurant, I went with the Surf & Turf. I'm a rube, so I ordered the steak portion in medium. For a steak restaurant I was sorely surprised with the meat. I would just give it an OK. I was looking for outstanding, but that just didn't do it. A bit overcooked (even for a medium!) and I almost had the aftertaste of a piece of liver. Not as tasty as I would have wanted. On reflection, I should have gotten some sort of saucy side to cover it. I hate to recommend adding it (I was taught BBQ sauce hides poor brisket), but it is what it is. However, the lobster was really good. It wasn't a large thing. An over sized prawn. But it was tasty and filleted out for you so it was even easier to eat. The asparagus and mashed potatoes with it were par for the course. As a business meal - recommended and would do it again. On my own dime with a date, I would have been far more brutal in the review.

I was made aware that the base of the Aplos was very herbal and tart. The first one brought to me was very tart. Very, very tart. I was not a fan, my dad was going to drink it, our waitress: Deja noticed and offered to have it remade. I accepted, the bartender came out to drop it off and explained how she changed it up. She stood by me and waited until I tried it. A bit much, it was better. The tartness was only at the end for a brief moment. They didn't have a specific gluten free menu, but Deja did tell us what was naturally gluten free and/or could be modified. A lot of the food is made in house. A lot of it looked appealing, but they had gluten free noodles that were not made in house. So I went with a trusted filet mignon cooked medium. The demi glace was an excellent touch. The potatoes were pretty good. The broccolini wasn't what I was hoping for. My parents dishes were much larger. Leftovers were had and enjoyed on a second day. I would maybe try the short ribs next time we would go. The building is very rustic and decorative. The bathroom is upstairs; an elevator is present is needed. A very interesting place. Staff and kitchen very accommodating. The prices are high for the amount you're given. Would love some in house pasta that is gluten free with an in house sauce. I was there primarily for the company. Not my favorite spot. I would be willing to go again.

Anyways, I got the Italian sub (because when in Rome, do as the Romans) the gal did offer to heat my sub and I took her up on it. I'm from Pittsburgh so the lack of Italian food in Cleveland sometimes, and only sometimes takes a toll on me. This was a refreshing find for me. The Italian comes with muffuletta on it. You know, the pickled vegetable/olive mix famous in the French Quarter of New Orleans?... My friend got the Caesar salad but with oil and vinegar. They also have coke products here! I don't drink much pop but when I waste calories on pop, it is only ever Coca Cola :) You can get pizza by the slice to go. The white artichoke pizza slices would've taken 40 mins so I opted for pepperoni. They put my slices in bags and I was on my way. I asked about the weekend hours (so I could bring my boyfriend when we aren't working) they do not have weekend hours. Gotta get here during the week YALL! It is entirely worth the commitment.
