She delivered wrong food to several people. 3 people had orders missing stuff & took 30 more mins for some sides to come out. 2 ppl had meals comped b/c it was so cold. I sent back my coleslaw b/c it was warm & tasted off, so I changed to onion rings & never got them! She would disappear for huge chunks of time! I woulda tipped maybe 5%, but the whole bill got auto-gratuity & then person paying tipped also (by accident) so she got total a $300 tip! For doing a pretty lousy job! We ate outside on a Friday and the service was a tad slow. We had to go inside to ask about the drinks since our waiter didn't come out for awhile. All of the food was amazing but it does stink you have to pay extra even for the fries. I feel the fries should be free. We had an hour wait for our table. It was a large party of 16, but we did call ahead. Once we were seated, the orders were taken fairly quickly but a few of the drink orders were messed up. It was my first visit there. I ordered the pork bowl, not impressed. Barely any meat, mostly rice. The signature BBQ sauce tasted like mustard. The worst BBQ sauce I ever tasted, did not complement the rest of the dish. The burgers looked good, possibly should have gotten that instead. I finally called up a few of my old pals and we met there on a Thursday evening at 6:30 PM. From the moment we pulled into the lot, it was clear this place was going to deliver. The building is massive and impressive, and once you walk through the doors, the high ceilings and rustic yet energetic décor create a beyond-welcoming vibe. The menu struck that perfect balance: not overwhelming, but packed with variety. From ribs, steaks, and burgers to chicken, pork, salads, bowls, apps, craft beers, and signature cocktails--they've got everything, and it's done right. Our server, Chassity, was phenomenal--warm, attentive, and absolutely on point from start to finish. Service was quick but never rushed, and we truly felt taken care of. We started with appetizers for the table: the pepperoni wontons and cowboy candy. Both were flavor bombs, and the portions were generous--perfect for our party of five to share without skimping. For mains: * My mom ordered the BBQ grilled chicken double breast--so good she had to take one home. * My dad and our friend Joe went with the Notorious P.I.G.--a smash burger topped with bacon and pulled pork. My Fiancé came here on a date specifically because we love their prime rib French dip. We also split a ribeye that we requested to be medium rare, but was a bit on the rare side, which totally happens sometimes. They also have a brew wall, which is pretty fun, and arcade games to play if you are feelin' Froggy. Overall, I really like this place. Came here randomly with a few buddies on a Wednesday night to try it out for the first time. The steak had such a nice char grilled taste. The wings were smoked, which if you've ever had smoked wings, you know is literally the best way to prepare them. They had an assortment of sauces, I would imagine one for about any pallet. And our server, Analina was unbelievable. She did a great job and the atmosphere was stellar. They actually had a trivia night going so maybe that's just on Wednesdays. I saw an advertisement picture of a smash burger in a bowl of beer cheese and I was sold. I have driven by this place so many times and wanted to try it and had always just forgotten. But I am a huge fan of smash burgers, so I had to give it a try. First of all, this place is huge. It's so nicely decorated. I don't know why, but I expected it to be outdated or a little dingy- more of a bar feel. But, instead, this place was clean and really nice on the inside. We sat at one of the high tops in the bar area and the bartender was incredibly friendly and efficient. The bar was incredibly impressive. They have about 20ish really nice bottles of whiskey that they don't put on their whiskey menu. The price for pours was insanely reasonable. I did have a cocktail that I really didn't enjoy- I think it was the Eagle Margarita- it was really not good. Like I couldn't drink it because it was so bad. And not because the bartender did a bad job, it just had an off taste to it. However, the food was incredible. The smash burger in the beer cheese was totally over the top. I wouldn't order it again because it's so rich and decadent (and messy!!!) but I'm glad that I got to try it once. I really enjoyed this place. Visited Wild Eagle with the family recently. While we've been to this restaurant individually, we've never dined here as a family. I noticed on the menu that they had a family meal for $55. It seemed to contain quite a bit of food so we requested it. Monday nights are free game nights, so my son and I played some games while the food was prepared. Well, the food was prepared quickly and our friendly waiter walked to the game room to notify us. Upon arriving back at the table, there was a large platter of BBQ meat, fries, carrots, corn bread, and drinks. We started digging in and it quickly became apparent that the food was delicious - all of it. The Nashville chicken had a little kick to it and an amazing crunch. This would be spectacular on a sandwich. The pulled pork and pulled chicken were lightly smoked and not too salty - delicious. The ribs fell apart and with a little BBQ sauce (there were several sauces available), they were very good, if not a tad dry. My favorite sauce was the Carolina mustard. The french fries were hot and tasty, the carrots were sweet and delicious, but they didn't need to be served in liquid. The cornbread was sweet, warm, and delicious as well. The sausage was just okay, but it had some stiff competition on the platter. The fried pork belly was tasty too. We had a great meal that was a great value and great service. Wonderful experience with the family. This is a very large, multi room place. Full bar area. Lots of TVs. One of the draws is the 'pour your own draft' set up. You get a card and put money on it. Then tap the card at the self serving draft stations. They have maybe a couple of dozen draft options on two sides of the wall. As you pour, you can see your balance come down. Excellent set up. Great selection of beers. Another draw is the gaming area. Again, another large space that includes small bowling lanes, corn hole, air hockey, pool table, and various video games. Lastly, the food was excellent. Burger had great flavor and fresh. It was not soggy or messy. The macaroni cheese balls and pepperoni wontons were also great. Waiter was great. Only draw on this place was the unpleasant bartenders that repeatedly walked by but didn't offer to help us despite not being busy. Went here on a Saturday afternoon and had to wait for seating for 4 (plus a stroller and baby). I'm assuming because of staffing, which we never mind due to todays circumstances. But there were a lot of open tables. Our server told us she was very busy and overwhelmed but she kept checking on us and we never felt forgotten. The food was ok.. the pretzel was good, but I've had better. I got the salad and I didn't realize the chicken would be shredded like BBQ style and it didn't look appetizing at first. Made the salad a little soggy, but I ate it! Some places either make and amazing salad with heart or, like this unfortunately it's not the star of the show. My husband and MIL got burgers that were amazing. And the fried slapped. I think this place excels at BBQ and burgers more than salads so that's on me. But we only asked what seasonal beer they had and she said "it's on the beer wall"... so I guess we should have inquired more? The corn bread was surprisingly disappointing - it was a bit hard and did not have a bread texture. The mac and cheese balls were great - a bit spicy. The Kettle chips was my favorite but then again I'm a dip girl. For my entree I had the fish and chips. It was mediocre - not amazing but not bad. One star is deducted because they have a boot drink but it doesn't come in a boot glass anymore. This was disappointing. There's also a fun games room. I was told by the General Manager that taxes are rounded "up or down" on all checks. I email the director of operations and was told that the checks should be rounded DOWN to the nearest quarter. Sounds illegal to me. These employees need to be retrained on their policies and on how to treat customers. Anybody who has ever worked in customer service knows to follow the "LAST" procedure. Listen. Apologize. Solve. Thank. We received none of that. Service was horrible, the food was just okay. My husband and I are building a home nearby so we have been stopping by Wild Eagle almost weekly after we check out the house process. I think we are regulars at this point. My husband is a huge BBQ and is absolutely in love with the pulled pork sandwich. We love just about everything else on the menu too. The Mac and cheese with a kick - YUM! Dry rub wings, salmon, sweet potato, pepperoni wontons- you name it! Last week we when we visited Pietro was our server and he was amazing. Not only was he a great server, but he was also bartending so made my Manhattan and it was the best I've ever had there! Chef Larry introduced himself to us and asked how everything was. We had nothing but great things to say about it Wild Eagle's menu! And how cool that Larry cares so much that he comes around to get feedback from customers! My only critique is that I wish there was a grilled chicken option - especially for the salads. Also, we leave our eagle card at home almost every time so I wish there were more draft options behind the bar vs serve yourself since we're just developing a stash of cards at home. I have heard good things about the Wild Eagle location in downtown Cleveland, so I thought it would be cool to check out this new location! This Wild Eagle location is a huge place, full of tables, wrap around bar, a game room, and even pour your own beer taps. We didn't try the taps this time, but it seems like a neat concept. Great for large parties! We grabbed a bit to eat, but the food was just alright. The bottom of my sub came out soggy and that's just not appetizing. My husband usually comes to this location for bike nights. Since Quaker steak doesn't do them anymore he heads here. He brought me for a bike night and the atmosphere was nice. Loud music, staff was helpful so we decided to consider throwing his birthday party here. We came for dinner with the kids to make sure they could enjoy the food and the game room. Was. On. Point. So we reached out to book his party. Megan who helped me schedule everything was helpful and upbeat. Her personality was amazing. We had to change the date and she was on it. So we settle on a date and she emails me a menu. We go back to Wild eagle and start sampling everything that's on the catering menu to make sure everything is amazing. The pulled pork sits in fat and was served more like a soup than pulled pork, the stuffed mushrooms are on point highly recommend, burnt ends are amazing and literally made some AMAZING Kielbasa. While walking the gaming area I was showing everyone the area that we reserved and a member of the staff came over and was telling us how things work. When you book a party they put up signs stating that are was reserved (this never happened for our party), that we would have exclusive access to the shuffleboard and corn hole courts. (This is not the case, it's just the corn hole court) and you have an inclusive person to take orders for drinks and food outside of the catering. (Ours was MIA for most of our event) I had people coming into our reserved area, helping themselves to drinks, food, our seating area. I get it's a restaurant and they had a live band. But come on, there was no interference ran by our host because we couldn't find her. I started sending people who wanted to order things to the front to ask for our host. When signing the contract, I was aware I was feeding up to 40 people, and the gratuity would be included on my final bill. What I didn't know, nor did any of my guests was that they automatically added 21% gratuities to EVERY person who had a tab at the party. On top of that they didn't tell anyone they were adding that, so a lot of people didn't even see tips were automatically, and doubled tipped. Kudos to those who read their receipts. Tabs got mixed up and people were charged for the incorrect things. A lot of it was apparently fixed at the party. But for a host who has worked at the establishment for years you'd think would be better at keeping track of everything that people ordered. My sister in law's card got flagged for fraud for a $120 tab. It was fixed but her card was frozen the entire time she was in Ohio. Ruined her whole stay. I wouldn't recommend for a party, as it's hit or miss but if going to see the bands or just have dinner, then recommend. But stay away from party services. read more
