Good bar with plenty of seats at the bar and in the restaurant. Had a couple of pool tables which is really nice. Hard to come by anymore. Like many of the other reviewers, I too thought the food prices were pretty high. But I have to admit it was above average bar food. We had the hddock fish dinner and the shrimp dinner. Decided to stop here for a later dinner at 8:45pm. Server was very nice. I had suggested it as a place I thought had decent food. It was a Friday and the special was their fish fry. Now I know eating out has been affected by inflation, however, my dinner consisted of three small pieces of probably ocean perch at room temperature, cold fries, and two tablespoons of cole slaw. Take a Mulligan and try another place! Foooorrre. It's like they're trying to appeal to the criminal element w/ their blackout windows & super dim lighting & black ceilings. We could barely read menu. 2 tables over 6 rowdy guys were dropping f bombs like they're reciting Scarface. Of course workers didn't say a word, probably b/c they were ordering up beers like Al Bundy. Ordered Caprese salad since the pic looked awesome. Then our dish came out and half of it was missing. Pic showed 8 we got 4. Plus presentation was lame..see pic. My wrap was soggy/wet. Chicken salad had no flavor - couldn't tell what meat it was.. musta been canned. Coleslaw was bland, just mayo & cabbage. Quesadilla was pretty decent. Kids grilled cheese got inhaled. Fries were not crispy, not great & weren't finished by 3 of us. At least prices weren't bad. The bar staff is excellent. Very attentive. Very courteous. Food (e.g., caprese sandwich, artichoke-and-spinach dip) is excellent. Drinks are well mixed. They have several pool tables. Fridays are pool-league night. They also have bar videogames, lottery machines, darts, lots of seating, a TouchTunes jukebox, televisions with lots of different sports (e.g., basketball, football, hockey, et cetera) and a few restrooms. I guess they used to have a dance floor, but it's usually occupied by tables and chairs now. Overall, an excellent establishment. read more

Ordered the 14.99 Chef salad. For that price, you would think it would be great, like an entree salad (It was going to be my dinner). Way overpriced for what was actually on the salad. They must have been running out of tomatoes as there wasn't even a teaspoon of diced tomatoes. Three slices of cuke, 3 slices of the hard-boiled egg (other places that charge that much give you the whole darn egg) maybe a 1/3 cup diced lunchmeats. Lots of red onion for some reason that was the only thing they didn't chince on! Basically, jus lots and lots of iceberg lettuce with some romaine (THEY CALLED IT MIXED GREENS) so technically correct, but for God's sake put some toppings on your CHEF SALAD! We have gone here a couple times because we grabbed a Groupon and wanted to try it out. They didn't treat us like third world citizens because we had a Groupon like some places do. Our servers were always super nice and the food was solid bar fare. I think it is a good place to stop and have a drink and grab a bite with friends. They also seem to have some good specials before 7pm where I believe everything is roughly a dollar off (except wine I am told). read more

Unfortunately, not the best experience. Two of our meals did not come to the table until everyone else at our table was done eating. We had them just pack the two orders in to-go boxes. The food seemed to be ok, but may have been better if we could have eaten it when it was hot. They did not try to compensate us in any way for our dinners not coming out on time. My husband and I just ordered the 12oz Prime Rib dinners for carry out to spend a nice Sweetest Day at home. Was a bit concerned about carrying out Prime Rib. it was fantastic, the Prime Rib was hot and cooked as ordered, it had an amazing taste and the salad and potato were great. What an awesome meal. Meagan was our server and she did a great job taking care of our table of 12. Drinks were brought to the table as we ordered and the food shortly thereafter. Had the buffalo chicken wrap and fries. Outstanding. A friend of mine ordered the rueben which was surprisingly good. When you've got to compete with Slymans, Mulligans did a very good job. Others in our group had wings, chef salad, Cajun chicken, and 1 of the 10 different burgers on the menu. No one went away hungry. Equally as good are the TVs. Mulligans has been actively on groupon for the past couple months so I decided to give it another try. There have been many upgrades here in the past few years. The food here is outstanding - my favorite is the Parmesan fries, zucchini planks, and the Cajun chicken wrap. Sometimes it is difficult to get a seat or table during happy hour - they don't have a hostess or anyone to seat you so just wait around for someone to get up. I would also like to comment on planning a party in their party room. They have an awesome space you can use for a larger get together & they are extremely helpful and accommodating. Their catered food is reasonably priced too. If you don't have time to sit and eat - they have quick carry out too. read more

I went to the Ohio State game on December 28th. 1. Could not make a reservation 3 weeks in advance got there at 6 there were 5 tables reserved??? 2. A table of 6 could not get drinks had to go to the bar all night. 3. All our food orders were wrong( undercooked or overcooked). 4. All 3 of our checks were wrong. 5. had to chase the servers down all night. 6. Asked if they were understaffed told me they had 2 extra servers on??? 7. Both servers had an attitude all night poor service or hate working there. 8. They auctioned food orders all night ( they walked around asking who ordered the item) write the orders down by table number and seat number basic server 101. They do have a few pool tables and lots of TV's but this place is nothing special. They did just open a nice patio, and expanded the restaurant. You have three ladies for the entire place. Last night, wife and I were sitting at the bar and could not get service. Bartender spent too long trying to place orders on computer screen. Your ladies are doing a great job but overwhelmed with work load. This is not a single occurrence. We have experienced this multiple times recently. We are regulars! After stopping at a Thai restaurant in Strongsville recommended by fellow Yelpers only to find when arriving at 3 PM, that they close from 3-4;00 PM, we stopped here for a late lunch.! It was Friday, and the wet-board announced perch, perch and shrimp, and scampies as their specials. I went for the perch, and the lady for wings, we both were thinking of bouncing up the side to pierogi for a couple extra bucks, but at $2;00/pierogi it was cheaper to order a pierogi dinner instead, so we did. There were 4 pieces of perch in the $12.00 dinner that may have cumulatively weighed 2- 3 ounces, not exactly a hearty dinner. One "filet" was small enough I initially mistook it for a french fry! It was accompanied by fresh- from- the- freezer- french- fries, and a thimble full of cole slaw, and a like sized portion of tartar sauce. The pierogi were leathery, large and lousy, (4 points for alliteration!) But they do get points for not tossing Mrs. T's grocery store frozen ones in the skillet, even though they would have been more palate-pleasing! The wings were dry, almost to the point of being hard to chew. The cole slaw was the highlight of the meal. The service was fair after getting off to a shaky start. All in all this is probably a great place to drink! read more
