    Fish & Chips

Early weeknight dinner on a cold blustery and overcast night. Hooked up with a old high-school friend. The place was busy, the sound level, elevated. We ordered the pulled pork sandwich on pretzel bread (w/fries), the salmon entree (w/mixed veggies and rice) and the fish and chips; plus beer, of course. Everything we ordered was really good. Special shoutout for the fish and chips! Wow; they were hot, fresh, great-tasting and a huge portion (see photo)! Our server was good, but slammed with customers. We had a longish wait for second round of beer, but all in all, a great evening, good food and good company!

This was a nice place to happen upon. Rainy Saturday around 1:30 and my partner and I were able to sit right away and we chose to sit at the bar. I decided to stick with soda (coke products) and my husband tried their IPA and their Belgian beers. He said they were ok but not great, they weren't very aerated. The food was bomb, so delicious! We had poutine, and walnut apricot salad and a side of fries. The poutine was frickin good! The cheese curds are deep fried and the gravy was the perfect consistency. The salad was great too, very hearty! I just wish they cut the dried apricots so they weren't so big. I would definitely come back here and try more things from the menu! I do need to add that the women's bathroom was pretty gross. Didn't love that but the restaurant seemed clean otherwise.

Despite only having two servers and being one of the few restaurants open on a Sunday, bartenders and servers maintained their coolness and worked as fast and efficient as they could. Props to you guys! Also...one of the best menus for a casual bar. Onion rings were plentiful which is hard to find...places always seem stingy with onion rings. Crispy and delicious. Love that there are two different kinds of pretzels with one order. Salad was big and filling and love that the salad menu wasn't just house vs cesear. Would love to come back again if I'm in Berea.

Stopped in for lunch right when they opened. Bartender/Server welcomed us in. We were the only three in the place but that quickly changed. I had the soup special, a bowl of spicy Italian sausage with spinach & the cornerstone salad. The soup was obviously scratch made...delicious. The salad was meal size w/ a generous amount of crumbled blue cheese & bacon. Loved the building and decor.

Great food! They have a new soup every day made from scratch. Their pizzas and burgers are good too. We ordered the poutine as an appetizer. It was delivered hot. I enjoyed the melty cheese curds and brown gravy. Excellent service.

Delicious food and nice atmosphere, worth the stop if you're near Berea. I ended getting the poutine and the fried cheese curds were outrageous. The beer seemed a little flat but the flavor was there.

We have visited the Cornerstone Brewing Company twice now, both with large groups (9 or 10 guests) and they were able to accommodate quickly both times. For a bar/restaurant the food is pretty good. It is also surprisingly kid friendly. They have a kids menu which offers your usual options, and they can provide the standard requests of Shirley Temples or chocolate milk! As for the adult food, the menu offers pizzas, burgers, sandwiches, salads, and several appetizers that are large enough to serve as meals. For bun options they also have a pretzel bun, which is a nice change. I'm not sure exactly what they do to the french fries, but they are addicting! Both times we have been to this restaurant, there hasn't been a single fry left on anyone's plate! Granted we visit during dinner hours, however, the atmosphere has not been too loud or rowdy. If you haven't been to the Cornerstone Brewing Company, I recommend checking it out.

Very good food but nothing extraordinary. Service very slow food arrival for an anticipated busy Friday evening.

This place is an experience; this is their main production facility, which also has a huge bar and restaurant space. It's so well planned; sit wherever, order food at one place, beer at another. They have bar seating, big and small tables, high tops, etc. Even with all the variety, it was still pleasantly loud and busy. At the entrance, you can go to the merchandise area, which is big. They have all their canned selections ready and cold to go as well. To the left of the bar is a self-guided tour hallway, where you can see a lot of the brewery and their huge wall of major beer awards from over the decades. We sat at a high top near the bar; the bartender was so efficient with our beers, there were so many to choose from I only wished we could've stayed longer. It's family friendly with games. Prices are super reasonable for the continued quality and arguably strong beer styles. If you're a beer fan, whether new or a veteran, this is a must-visit regional powerhouse. I look forward to visiting again soon.

We started with the Frickles, crispy pickle chips served with honey mustard and sriracha 1000 island dressing. The sriracha 1000 island is so good that we always ask for an extra side to dip our fries and chips in. I ordered a house salad with the Bumbleberry Poppy Seed dressing, which was fresh and flavorful. My youngest son stuck with his usual favorite, the Smoked Brisket Poutine, which never disappoints. My husband ordered the June special, the 5-OH Burger. This massive burger features an 8-ounce patty topped with ghost pepper cheese, Hawaiian BBQ candied jalapeños, bacon, onion straws, a grilled pineapple ring, and a cream cheese jalapeño popper. The flavor combination was outstanding, and the spice had a delayed kick that sneaks up on you a few seconds after each bite. My oldest son went with the BBQ Burger, loaded with smoky BBQ sauce, cheddar cheese, house bacon, onion straws, pickles, and horsey sauce. Another excellent choice. To wash it all down, my husband enjoyed two beers: the Hazy Headhunter and Hop Thunder from Down Under, both of which he really liked. The food is consistently great, the portions are generous, and the atmosphere is always lively and welcoming. Today we sat outdoors on the large patio. After all these years, Fat Head's continues to be one of our family's favorite places to eat. Highly recommended!

We've never had a bad experience, so I finally decided it was time to leave a review. One of my family's favorite appetizers is the fried green beans, we order them almost every visit. My youngest son always gets the poutine topped with Wisconsin white cheese curds, house smoked brisket, savory brown gravy, and scallions. It's one of his absolute favorites. This past visit I wasn't very hungry, so I decided to try the special lasagna soup and it was excellent. It genuinely tasted just like lasagna in soup form and was perfect comfort food. My oldest son ordered the Smokehouse Pulled Pork sandwich with hickory smoked pulled pork, house BBQ sauce, pickles, and served on a challah bun with fries and house slaw. My husband went with the chef's special smash burger, which he really enjoyed as well. The food is consistently good, portions are generous, and the atmosphere is always welcoming. Definitely one of our go-to spots in the area.

I'm sure it saves them a LITTLE bit of money to not order paper/cardboard bowls, but at the same time - the dip is $13! If I'm ordering it to go it should be in a bowl that is easier (and less messy) to dip the bread in. The bread is also supposed to be "grilled ciabatta" - my bread was definitely not grilled. Why not serve this dip with the same chips that are served with the buffalo dip? As a former hostess, I was also disappointed with my pickup experience. The restaurant was EMPTY (it was lunch time), there was no one at the host stand so I went to the bar to ask the bartender about my order. She asked me to wait for the hostess to clean off a table. Once again, it was COMPLETELY empty, no patron was waiting for this table to be cleaned off - but I AM here! And still, I had to wait for her to clean a table for no guests in an empty restaurant, instead of tending to me, the customer who was physically there. I have to get back to work, that's why I ordered to go, what the hell? Guests that are physically there should come first, even if my order is to go. Get it together Brew Kettle.

The breakfast menu is kind of sparse, but that is ok as at the moment, I didn't need 100 choices. I landed on the egg, bacon, and cheese sandwich (on a bagel). I needed to add a lot of cholula sauce to the sandwich. The potatoes were very well seasoned with garlic. They were good, but I only had a few. My server, who was the only server and did double duty as the bartender as well, was very sweet and checked on me quite a few times despite the short staffing.
