Cute well stocked bar

Hey just had an early morning drink and meal here (new years day) and YES they are open. Karrie was our bartender and she was a gracious and charming host! She made today fun. Love this place and will come back soon. Thanks Karrie!

Stopped in for a burger, wasn't disappointed. Inside is well kept and pleasantly decorated. Staff always polite and available. Great bar to grab lunch.

The Rush Inn is right across the street from the Becks Art Center. 10 of us came at 12:15 for lunch before going to see Elf. While they didn't really have a table for all of us, we managed to sit across from each other in booths. It worked fine. The drink for all of us was Bloody Mary! The bar tender did a great job in making it just the right amount of seasoning and spice. For one person, who asked for it to be not spicy, they obliged. Would've liked to have a pickle or celery along with the olives, but otherwise, near perfect. The menu is impressive, polish platters, stroganoffs, burgers, wraps, salads even a stir fry. Something for everyone. I had the spicy chicken gyro wrap. I would've liked a bit more sauce, but otherwise, it was really good. We shared fried pickles amd they were tasty and the dip,was tangy and delicious. Some even ordered extra dip for fries. Everyone enjoyed their food. Timing was perfect as we paid and left just after 2. We walked across the street in plenty of time for the 2:30 matinee. Great place. Highly recommend !

Came for some beer & wings and this place did not disappoint! It has a lot of tables and bar is huge so getting a spot was pretty easy. The bartenders were super friendly and gave us some wing flavor recommendations. We tried the Buffalo medium & the rush inn hot. Both were excellent but the rush inn hot has some serious heat & tasted like it's a cayenne pepper sauce of some sort.

$30 for 5 undercooked wings and a bad patty melt from frozen burger no seasoning, A1/mayo instead of 1000 Island made it even worse.

I ordered a Rush Inn burger. The burger tasted old. The mushrooms and onions were barely grilled. The onion rings were tasteless.

My group were supposed to go to Habesha Ethiopian restaurant for dinner and book club but they were closed so we found ourselves at PJ's Irish Pub. AMBIANCE -- Dimmer light but not too dark inside. Typical, traditional bar look and feel. Lots of booth tables plus a center bar area with chairs around it. DRINKS -- I don't drink alcohol so I can't comment on their drink offerings but considering that this is an Irish Pub, they must have lots of options to choose from such as beer. FOOD -- Their menu is large with dishes such as pot pie, tacos, meatloaf, etc. I didn't want to spend a lot of money so I just ordered 2 beef tacos that came with tomatoes but I forgot to ask for it to come without cheese. So, I had to remove the shredded cheese from it. There was a lot of cheese on the tacos too. The tacos were fine - simple enough and the beef tasted just right. This pub is probably more known for their drinks but I may be wrong. Everyone on my table seemed to enjoy their dinner. I noticed someone ordered meatloaf, another for a chicken pot pie, another had a big plate of broccoli with something else (the broccoli looked tasty), and so on. SERVICE (5/5) -- our group was treated well. We were greeted upon walking in plus our server took our orders at a reasonable time. PARKING -- Not the best like most places in the area because it is street parking only but I was very lucky to find a street parking spot right in the front of the pub. You can probably park at the shopping district parking lot across the street where a gas station is located. Overall, although I wasn't expecting to even visit PJ McIntyre's Irish Pub on that cold January evening, it was a nice enough experience (mostly FUN because of the book club group rather than the food). The beef tacos that I ordered were fine and a fair price (around $6.50 total). I most likely won't be back since I don't drink alcohol and I hardly visit pubs or bars for dinner. **** GOAL of 250 reviews in 2026 - 11/250 total reviews in 2026 - 852 total Yelp reviews - Reviewed on 27 February 2026

LIVE MUSIC -- I arrived at the start of a weekend (Friday evening) and the pub was already packed with people. I could tell immediately that Gormley's is a hometown and west side favourite bar. The two member band that played were greet and they kept the atmosphere of the bar lively. Gormley's has an upstairs and downstairs so there is lots of space to sit or stand. At one point, I went upstairs and stood on the small balcony which was nice due to the slightly warm weather on that evening. If you are looking for a pub to hangout with friends, drink responsibly, and even watch some sports on TV, then Gormley's is the spot for you. **** GOAL of 250 reviews in 2026 - 41/250 total reviews in 2026 - 882 total Yelp reviews - Reviewed on 23 April 2026

My waitress (Renee) immediately greeted me, she was friendly & professional and offered to take my drink order, since I was ready, she took my order, fish & chips which comes with a cup of coleslaw. The food arrived fairly quickly and I was impressed at the size of the meal. A large fillet perfectly fried and crispy. The fries were ok, but they do offer malt vinegar on the side and a the tartar sauce was good. The place definitely has that old English pub feel and appeared to be clean and orderly. We did try to find a table with outlets to charge our phones and they didn't have any.
