First time at West Park Station. Visited on a Saturday night around 8PM. Three of us. Place was busy, but got a table right away. Fairly big menu of usual bar fare. Had the Buffalo Crunch Wrap and fries. Got to say, it was really good. Service was good....friendly. Place seemed well staffed. Wide variety of people....some old folks like us and fair number of guys and gals at bar watching football. All in all a solid neighborhood place. I like the West Park part of Cleveland. Lots to do and a nice mix of interesting folks. I'm an east sider, so can't say when I will be back, but it is certainly solid enough to visit frequently. read more

Ordered carry out. Corn ribs had white stuff spilled all over them, salad ordered without tomatoes and onions guess what yeppers they put them on anyway. They didn't make sure my order was correct before sending me on my way so they forgot the Mac and cheese (I caught that one) and the fried chicken sandwich's were burnt, dry and buns were hard. When our first choice for lunch was unexpectedly closed, we turned to Yelp for suggestions on a Plan B. After reading reviews for West Park Station, we decided to change course and head there.. We came on a Sunday afternoon but had no problem getting sat right away. We each ordered our own meal but decided to get an order of the pepperoni rolls to share and holy crap!!! Stopped in here for a late lunch after seeing a musical at Playhouse Square and was pleasantly surprised by the food and atmosphere! I will say that the service was pretty slow and random, but ever server we encountered was friendly. There's a decent sized bar in the center and table/booth seating surrounding it, with a lot of TVs to watch your favorite sports. There were a number of menu items that caught my eye and everything was very reasonably priced. We decided to split some pepperoni rolls as a group and I ordered the Dublin Dip sandwich as my main. The food was stellar! The pepperoni rolls were huge and loaded with filling. They were light, like a cinnamon roll, not dense like many others you'll find. The marinara was fresh and flavorful, perfect for dipping. My sandwich arrived on a perfectly toasted, soft but crunchy hoagie bun, piled high with shaved roast beef atop melted cheese. The au jus was rich and a little salty - again, perfect for dipping. Last but definitely not least - Order the potato chips as a side and thank me later!! The food is a good selection of elevated bar food; nothing really stood out but the burger was good! The margaritas actually stood out, their spicy margarita was exceptionally made. Our waiter was super fast. We went for an event and boy oh boy did some characters come out; still fun. My friends and I bring a mini baby Jesus out when we drink and that night was no exception. I hate writing a review like this but hoping they can address it and grow from it. I ordered a buffalo chicken wrap today and there were several hairs in it. My son and I came here for the first time this Sunday because Paul Gallagher, a great magician was going to be there for table magic. WPS didn't disappoint! The food was delicious, our server was top notch, and Paul the magician was stellar. He is scheduled for the first Sunday of the month for an hour or two. Don't miss this, you can call WPS to confirm. Kids and adults love him. I had the Irish breakfast burger with their homemade chips and dip. Very good:) My son had an Italian sandwich with the chips and dip and he loved his, too. The server concocted a delicious fruity nonalcoholic drink for me and it was perfect with my breakfast burger. They have great music, DJ Taz is awesome, he plays a variety of music in fact he plays what the crowd asks for. On the other hand, we did notice that the manager of this place was acting very hostile towards the Dj screaming to him and demanding he changed the type of music. So, disrespectful!!!!... The manager did this several times when latin music came on. We took this as a racist action towards us. Like I said the Dj was playing what the crowd asked for, why was he so upset about that!!!? Came here for the Cleveland Browns playoff game on 1/13/24, every single tv in the bar was synced except for 1 and the manager refused to resolve the problem even after 90% of the bar complained. 10% of the bar would cheer when a play happened before the rest of the bar and it upset many people. Total vibe killer and total failure by management, could have been easily resolved by shutting the tv off but they refused. No idea why they would be ok with the majority of customers being upset but that is a management decision that was taken. read more

I have been here twice now. The first time was good, the second near perfect. I had the lemon chicken and as I can never eat all my dinner, it reheated the next day perfectly. Not sure how I have overlooked this place as I have dined in nearly every other spot around Kamm's. Just had the meatball slides and a calzone but everything was superb. Homemade meatballs were moist, served on toasted slider buns and the calzone was likely one of the best, bar none, that I have ever had....and I have had a lot of them. Marinara sauce was thick and tasty. Might have spiced it up a bit for my tastes but still exceptional. Great job overall with good service. Coming back soon. read more

Went there on a Thursday night and it was pretty cool. The inside seemed more family early on and the outside was more my tempo. the night got longer a DJ started to play outside. I've been to West Park Station a few times over the past two years, and most recently was there to watch a Cavs playoff game and support a local charity. WPS has a great menu and the patio area outside is spacious. The only knock on the patio is that there were quite a few TV's that either weren't on or not operational so it was hard to watch the game. The food is superb!! I had the Lobster Mac and paired it with hot wings. This was my second time ordering Lobster Mac here and I'm glad that I gave it an encore. It really is FAR better than you would expect from a bar. The wings were also on point. The staff was courteous and also did a great job assisting each other's tables. Very fluid. As someone who worked in restaurants from the age of 14 well into adulthood I always notice the staff and how they function. This group seems to enjoy working at WPS and also have embraced the teamwork approach to keeping things moving. Well done!! read more

Thought we would try West Park Station for Sunday brunch. The menu looked interesting. I would say that our experience was varied. All three of us got the Aidens special, but with a different combination of things. I got scrambled egg whites and they were very good. As was my bacon. The hashbrowns were tasty, but we all agreed that they were just a little too greasy. My husband's scrambled eggs were dried out and pretty inedible. He liked the sausage, however. The food was just OK. But the prices were very reasonable, so I wasn't expecting anything too gourmet. With just a tiny bit more attention to detail, they could really improve the experience. For example, we had to ask for butter for the toast and it must've just come straight out of the freezer. The jelly packets had tape on top, which looked a little suspicious. A little tweaking and more uniformity in the food as it comes out of the kitchen could really elevate it to a great breakfast place from an OK one. My trio went here yesterday to try out new restaurants as we always do and we got there at about 5 o'clock --walked in, sat ourselves, Someone came over to take our drink order and left menus but it took quite a while for this person to return to take out orders. Meanwhile, the place is noisy as all get out it's got, I would give this a sports bar +description, only if you like this sort of place. There are dozens of TVs on both sides of this place on every different channel you can imagine with nobody watching, because no table or booth faces the TVs and the continuing noise was deafening. Our orders came from a decently extensive menu but a couple of us were disappointed. The corned beef sandwich was salty. The lemon chicken over angel hair pasta was all under an overly oily liquid... It was submerged in the stuff. The taste was fine and the pasta was al dente, which was good, but they could've left out the many cups of oily stuff. First person had a dish similar to mine, and it was quite oily as well. if they would take the bowls, put in the pasta with the vegetables or meatballs or chicken breasts on top we would've been super happy. This place has been there for like 100 years. It's very popular, well attended, everyone's very happy, and they are all just as loud as the music that was also playing ---so we had TVs music and screaming people. Wow! Still a place to try. It's a neighborhood favorite and it's set amidst several other restaurants from Rocky River Drive all the way down. One of my trio had already been here several years ago and it was just as noisy back then he said. Give it a try see what you think. Depends on what you like, we get together every now and again and were looking for some peace and quiet-- we didn't get it but the food was decent and a Good time was had by all. read more

I stopped here about a year ago and I dislike the food it was actually disgusting! I ordered chicken strips and they brought me chicken tenders that were cold and hard, everything else I tried was also not edible. I'm going to the nightclub we know that at that time of night that this place is a ghost town I stopped in this past weekend thinking I would give them another chance, they were not busy at all only two people at the bar and nobody and the restaurant area. Nobody acknowledged us at all after waiting a little while a large group came through the front door after me and my friend were already seated the waitress totally ignored us and walked over to the large group that came in after us. I was very thirsty so I decided to go to the bar to get a pop, the bartender had an awful attitude and told me she is not going to give me my drink that I had to wait for the waitress to get it. The service here was so bad there was no way I was going to stay me and my friend went elsewhere! I wouldn't return to this establishment if they were giving things away for free!!! By some deeply regrettable interdimensional paradox, I end up at this hellhole every time I come to Cleveland to visit my parents. I don't mean to, but someone's someone's BFF/hairdresser/unabashed Limp Bizkit fan recommends it and organizes a party, and there I am, again. To be clear, WPS is not a hellhole in the cool sense of old West Side Cleveland working class neighborhood dives--oh no, I like those and feel that they have much to recommend them, and will listen to shitty Irish bands in them all the livelong day. It is a hellhole in an abysmal, rap-rock, late-1990's/early 2000's kind of way that was laughably stupid then and is now comically dated as a bonus. Here is what you may expect: a shitty beer selection in a town that has many credible craft breweries; un-effing-believably bad bar service, where a friend was once so stunned that the bartenders stopped chatting with/serving their friends long enough to notice him that he froze up until said barkeeps walked away again; militant, tattooed frat boys watching UFC on the TV's and listening to Fred Durst wannabe dudes up on the stage. To be fair, I have never tried the food. But I don't generally reward people who would steal my car by asking them to paint my house, so the fact that they are terrible at everything that I might have wanted them to do so far does not incentivize giving them the opportunity to suck other ways, as well. You might think that this review is merely superior Austinite hipster snark, but I grew up in this part of Cleveland, and like many places in it plenty well. This isn't one of them. It's instead an amalgamation of everything douchey in the West Park/nearby suburbs culture, and although I am glad to see successful businesses in the area, I really wish this one would go away. read more

Well used to be a solid three but with the reduced menu sized it has shot up to a 4. Had lunch there yesterday and the service was fantastic and my Italian sub was cooked great with lots of meat and toppings. Sat inside and was great with high booth backs. The regular food menu is pretty darn good and well priced for the portions. Came here today for a fumdraiser for my daughters vet tech program at Tri-C.
