Food is excellent and huge portions. Barmaids are personable and very helpful. Will always return for the outstanding service and great food. Mac n cheese and stuffed cabbage dinner. They deserve a 5.

I'd say this is just about your average bar in terms of ambiance: dark, cozy, Just a bunch of folks lookin' to grab a beer and hagout. Quick service and both the host and our server were very sweet. The food however, is incredible. I'm always a sap for pierogies, but these were absolutely outstanding. If my memory serves me, the sour cream was an extra $.50 which was a bit odd from the usual pierogi place but it was overall amazing. The cabbage and noodles did not disappoint at all; being at the edge of Ukranian Village, they have añl of the resources for outstanding food.

It's a bar, what can I say. Although their patty melt tasted pretty good. My husband had cabbage and noodles. So for a bar the food is not bad for the price we paid. It was a quick lunch, the server was great. She made sure we had enough to drink, that our food was brought to us within as soon as it was made. Everyone there was very nice, people all around cheering for the Browns. Not a bad experience.

Local bar with a dive feel. Inside is spacious with plenty of seating for any sized party. Grabbed dinner here on a Wednesday night and was impressed with a decent crowd of people there. Everyone was social distancing. The tavern does a great job at making sure each table is following all Covid guidelines. The staff were friendly and the food came to the table in a timely matter. Our waitress mentioned that the pirogies and burgers were the best thing on the menu. For the table we shared pirogies and as my entree I went with the tavern burger. The food was fresh and filling. The beer was cold and refreshing. The only negative thing I have to say about the Parma Tavern is that the inside is dimly lit. More lighting inside would have been better in my opinion.

Always reliable, always consistent, PT is another one of those places where people flock to the comfortable familiarity. Beer list is great, the food is hearty and I always find myself here with some coworkers after a tough day! You want a tavern full of locals? This is it! Everyone always requests songs at the touch tunes.

I've been here a couple of times and it's always quick service and excellent food. I had a grilled chicken salad and it was fresh and tasty. The beer special was a great value and Debbie, our server was right there if we needed a refill or any assistance. Highly recommend.

Unfortunately when we parked there was a young female hurling in the parking lot with the rest of her party just standing around, I guess it was her boyfriend with her enough of that, I went with my brother before going to enjoy the Puerto Rican comic Josue "Comedy" Torres @ the Parma Snow Library [hilarious], it was pretty dark as we entered this was our 1st time there, we asked a server "if we seat ourselves?" She said "sure you do" she accompanied us to where we sat gave us our silverware & menus said "our server should be with us shortly", so here comes our server shortly after that took our drink orders, when she came back we were ready for our orders, he ordered the Bacon Cheeseburger & I ordered a regular cheeseburger I understand upcharging for onion rings but for fries it should be just a set price fries they gave us "Ruffle" type potato chips all for $8.95, not sure how much was my brothers, but hey it is what it is. The burger was awesome with char-grill flavor wish they just seasoned it with some salt, pickles were great I love pickle spears, chips was just regular Ruffle type. RRRRUUFLE HAS RIDGES lol, our server was very attentive to each of her tables making sure refills were given, I'm 1 to observe how servers treat others besides me, wish I got her name to complement to the manager how wonderful she was, guess I'll find out next time we go again, over all my experience was A1, can't wait to go again next time it won't be so rushed on our part...

Found this place by accident and will be my go to when in town. The employees are super friendly. Definitely coming back.

Terrible stuffed cabbage. Was it even meat? The mashed potatoes were fake and watery. 0/10. What a waste of money.

I watched this awful looking dive bar transition from an eye sore in the neighborhood, to thriving bar, restaurant and small local band venue over the past 20 years. John & his wife have succeeded in turning the local eye sore into a restaurant with indoor and outdoor seating serving up some amazing food. Their burgers are out of this world! The chicken wings can hold their own over many of the people that claim to fame their own. The gyro's and other Greek dishes give a real taste of the other side of the world! I'm not a drinker, but they do have a full bar both inside and outside. They offer catering and delivery for your events! The outside venue has local bands play on certain nights and has a covered, heated patio with a cast-iron stove/fireplace. The place is always clean and the service is beyond reproach! The variety of whiskeys is unparallel to any other bar we've been in Cleveland! If you're visiting from out of town and you want a quick bite to eat that satisfies the palette, make sure you stop in and say hello! A perfect meeting place before or during a Guardians, Browns or Cavs game!

I wanted to try the pierogi and the Polish boy and the KRAUT and having an extensive beer menu doesn't hurt either. Friendly neighborhood watering hole literally on the corner and basically across the street from the a Christmas story house allowing you to eat within eye sight of the leg lamp. I wanted basically everything from the menu that came vegan (spoiler alert there are tons and tons of things) but gastric space comes at a premium on vacation so we settled on the fried cheese. I was very excited to see the Polish boy (and vegan option no less) I didn't have much of a choice. GF ordered the vegan pierogi platter with vegan kielbasa on a bed of kraut. Firstly the fried cheese was head and shoulders above any mozz sticks or anything of the sort that I have had in memory. The breading is seasoned and crispy and heaven on earth. The cheese is PIPING. Like you will burn yourself if you, like me, have no patience. The accompanying tomato sauce is also steaming. So good. The Polish boy was also in a league of its own. Love that they have a vegan version. What a combo. Probably one of Cleveland's most important community contributions. We ordered the latkes to go and they were orgasmic. What a special place.

A place called Characters Bar & Grill kept coming up. So here's how things went! Atmosphere/Appearance: This place is like... at the EDGE of Cleveland's city limits. Lol. Brookpark Road or something. Once I pulled up it just felt like a nice, neighborhood spot! It does have a private parking lot, big outdoor section (where we sat) and plenty of space on the inside. It's a traditional setup. TVs everywhere, random swag and decor all throughout, plenty of high-top tables for seating and a big bar rail. The energy was lively and the music was so random. Lol. If you've been, you know what I mean. Service: I can't remember the name of who took care of us, but she was funny, sweet and just made sure we had everything that we needed. Food: While here I was able to try a few wings, so let's begin. First up were the Mike's Sweet Island Heat. For the record, if you order 10 wings, you can split them into 2-5s for an extra $1.00 if you want separate flavors. Also, on the menu there are 3 "types" of sauces that they offer. The first kind are Buffalo based sauces, the 2nd are barbecue based sauces and the last is "other". Lol. Anyway, these looked amazing, were super saucy and were a decent, seemingly normal size. I got lots of good fruity notes and aromatics as I put the wing to my nose. After tasting the flavors carried through with a bold, fruity, rich flavor. There was good spice and it felt like a chipotle based spice. It was a unique flavor for sure that I hadn't tasted before. Next up was Lenny's Honey Sriracha Teriyaki which is a mouthful of a name, but the flavors showed up! It was a good teriyaki base with citrusy lemon flavors that actually made my lips pucker just a bit. These weren't spicy at all, but it was missing something, I couldn't quite put my finger on it. Next up was Chipotle which I was lead to believe would be the hottest sauce on the menu based on it's placement on the menu, but I was wrong. This one did have some GOOD heat to it. The ingredients were balanced very well that created very bold, rich, hearty, chipotle flavors. I really liked this one. Next up were the Mild Buffalo. These were super saucy, juicy and had a very straightforward traditional Buffalo flavor that had some excellent flavor. The bleu cheese to go with these was a creamy, mild sauce that would cool your mouth down if you can't handle the spice. Next up was the XXX Buffalo which is actually the hottest sauce on the menu. The sauce was a bit watery which is a dead giveaway that it wouldn't be as spicy as it claims to be. It was still delicious, but the spice took a while to kick in, but it's nothing to write home about. It was like a kicked up Buffalo. Value: It's a sports bar, so the food won't be terrible expensive. I was there on Wednesday and wings were $1.00 each. Not bad at all considering how expensive I've see some. They even had $5.00 steaks this night, but I can only imagine them being a Salisbury steak or something. Lol. In conclusion, I had a blast here. The food was great, the people are awesome, I felt welcomed and it just felt like a good place to hang out! I look forward to returning and trying some more flavors!
