Arrived to the airport early and had some time to kill, so I decided to have lunch here. It wasn't overly busy, so I was able to get a table which was located in an open area that overlooked the concourse/terminal. My waitress (Renee) immediately greeted me, she was friendly & professional and offered to take my drink order, since I was ready, she took my order, fish & chips which comes with a cup of coleslaw. The food arrived fairly quickly and I was impressed at the size of the meal. A large fillet perfectly fried and crispy. The fries were ok, but they do offer malt vinegar on the side and a the tartar sauce was good. The place definitely has that old English pub feel and appeared to be clean and orderly. I would definitely dine here again, when flying in or out of Cleveland Hopkins. read more

Horrible service and miserable attitude from the wait staff. Waited 15 minutes for service and walked out after the waitress gave us a snarky response to a request for service. There are much friendlier places to spend your time and money at Cleveland Airport. read more

Had some extra time today before take off, so we decided to sit down and eat a meal here instead of the food court area. We both ordered a chicken club sandwich. The sandwiches ($21) came with pub chips which I was good with. My husband wanted fries instead so he paid $3 more for fries. I ordered my sandwich with no cheese or aioli/mayo. I did ask for honey mustard instead and was charged $1.00 for a tiny cup of it. But did they take some money off for the removal of cheese or aioli?? The sandwich itself was good but it was on the smaller side. I can never finish a whole sandwich but I finished this one. Service was good for an airport restaurant. We did try to find a table with outlets to charge our phones and they didn't have any. read more

The service was excellent and the location is superb A at the hub/center of the concourse intersections for A, B & C. The fish and chips was marginal - not bad - but nothing special. One of my fish fillets had a hard lumpy, section and I didn't eat the 2nd piece of fish because of this. The fries were crispy and good. The dish was served hot! read more

Absolute fiasco! Zero service! Zero ability to modify an order! Because you order at the table via a QR code, the Servers pay you no attention at all. Try to get someone's attention to get a modification to your order (i.e.crispy fries or an Arnold Palmer instead of just lemonade) and you're ignored. They (whichever corporation owns this place) have done a "great job" of cutting out staffing by using the QR code method of ordering and showed their "captured" audience within the airport's secure area that customer service doesn't matter one bit!! read more

Stopped here for a quick breakfast. The waitress Genesis was so rude. My husband ordered breakfast and inquired about the potato's that were missing from his order and she was the rudest waitress, she made excuses and when I told her she didn't have to be so rude she raised her voice and told me...You don't have to be rude. She was loud, arrogant and inconsiderate. The other customers heard her and couldn't believe her attitude. The other patrons gasped with surprise. Skip this place, hidden charges due to having to order via QR code and heaven forbid you inquire about missing food items in your order. There are plenty of other restaurants in this airport so pick a different place than The Pub. read more

Food was terrible. Ordered the breakfast platter. Only edible part was the potato. Eggs looked like they had been cooked on a very dirty griddle - coated in brownish grease. Sausage was dry and inedible as was the toast. read more

It appeared as a quiet place to sit and eat but I should have looked at the lack of light and turned around. Light brings joy. No joy here. Just unhappiness. First, let me give praise to the waitress for giving what seems to be her best effort. My Patti Melt was overcooked. Toast hard. Chips super HARD and no taste. Nothing was melting but my confidence. Did not enjoy at all. Wasted calories and money!!!! Bill was almost $50. Food only. No drinks! My husband ordered chicken sandwich, it came out lukewarm warm and DRY, DRY! DRY! read more

The food was pretty good. I've heard great things about this place so I was really sad it didn't live up to expectations. I manage a bar and am pretty understanding with service and drinks but the black hair young girl bartender made me the absolute worst margarita I've ever had and never asked us how our food or drinks were. She was nice but definitely inexperienced the service was pretty awful. We got ignored for the first 15 minutes. It was just a weird experience and paying $25 when it didn't even taste anything close to what it was supposed to be is crazy. I have no idea what she did to the "margarita" but it was super sweet and horrible. There was also no salt rim which was on the menu :( I'll probably try it again if I get the opportunity. Probably just a bad one off day. read more

Service is as atrocious. Waited and had the bartended walk by more than 4 times without even acknowledging I was sitting there (for reference, I was the only patron at the bar). She was more concerned with cleaning up than asking if I could be helped. Once I asked to be served, I received an attitude about ordering from a QR code sporadically placed on bar top, then told "you don't have to eat here" when I questioned why I was getting an attitude. Instead of leaving, asked to speak to a manager to explain my experience but only received an even worse attitude, including the explanation that "she is old and YOU should have spoken up" & "well you saw her cleaning and that's very important too so she was just busy". Both the bartender and manager should be relieved of their duties. They are in the customer service business and clearly don't care or want to do their jobs properly. Entire place had 6-8 total patrons in it, so perhaps this is a reflection of the employees. read more

Price - $20-30 per person Stopped by here for a quick lunch before my flight home. I got a spicy chicken sandwich on a pretzel bun with chips. The sandwich was really good but it was a pretty big. I felt like taking a nap after eating that meal which worked out great for the flight home. The restaurant does feel like you are in a UK pub in the middle of an American airport. Staff was friendly and took care of us in a timely manner. If you are at the airport looking for a bite to eat or to get a drink or two, this would be a good place to stop at. read more

Classic Wedge Salad -- exactly what you'd hope for when you're on the road and craving something familiar. Crisp iceberg, generous toppings (plenty of bacon, blue cheese, tomatoes, and crunchy fried onions), and a creamy chive buttermilk dressing that pulls it all together. Nothing fancy, just solid and satisfying. Comfort food in salad form. read more

Placed an order table side online. Waited 20 minutes and inquired about it . Of course, they had no record of the order in the kitchen. All the manager could say is that he is sorry and refunded the meal. We wasted 25 minutes at this place and won't do it again. read more

I've eaten plenty of airport food so my expectations were not high, but good god the food was awful (especially at airport prices). I had a burger that was overcooked to the point of being hard to chew, and the "toasted" bun was hard and burned in places. My wife got the pretzel bread appetizer, with a "beer cheese spread" that was some sort of spongy-textured weird tasting orange stuff that was served cold. At least for us the service was fine. read more

It's an airport pub. A tall boy of Tennent's Scottish Lager cost $10, so not too bad. Craft selections might cost a wee bit more. Like the name states, it looks and feels like a dark, cozy English pub. Service is fantastic. A good place to stop and wet your whistle with an airport beer read more

We always arrive at the airport early and sit down for breakfast. The Pub looked inviting with an English style interior. You seat yourself and the menu can be pulled up on your phone. We were there for breakfast and there are only 3 choices, but they worked fine for us. Our server was super friendly and attentive and even brewed us a fresh pot of decaf coffee. You have a choice of a breakfast sandwich, an omelet, or eggs and bacon. I opted for over easy eggs, bacon, hash browns and an English muffin. Food arrived in under 10 minutes and was hot and exactly what I ordered. Our server continued to ask if we needed anything and was prompt about bringing the check. Would definitely stop again if at this airport. read more

I remember the first time I ever traveled to LA I flew out of CLE because it was the closest airport to me at the time that had a non-stop flight to LA. I had about 3 hours to burn that day before my flight boarded so I ended up stopping in here without knowing anything about it(my pre-Yelp days) but I loved the exterior of it and what I could see of the inside too. So, I decided to walk in and order a drink and later on some food. The interior of this place is just my style of pub and the waitress and bartender on that day in particular were very friendly, welcoming and courteous. I had a burger(pre-vegan days) and it was very good and the fries were too. I also had several shots of Jameson chilled and a couple of draft beers. Also delicious! All in all this isn't your typical airport restaurant or bar. It's the kind of place I'd hang out at on a weekly basis for the great atmosphere, the great employees, the great vibes and the great selection of food & drink. I think one of the things I enjoy most about this place is the way it's set up and the courtyard they have outside the restaurant that makes you feel like you're literally outside. I'd say you're going to hit a home run with anything you eat here as the fish and chips and Shepard's pie are amazing and are two of my favorites. If you're ever traveling and you happen to have a layover at Cleveland Hopkins International or are just traveling out of it please make sure to stop in here and have some food and drinks. Double pub trouble, good drinks! Honestly one of the most solid quick bites (and non chaotic) sit down places at any airport ever I've been to. Crispy wings and some great sauces: BBQ, Guinness BBQ, buffalo, ranch. Plain wings are good or have them tossed. I was able to work from my computer at the table, no issues with airport Wi-Fi either. Friendly staff also. read more

Ok. Airport food sucks, but not The Pub in CLE! I wasn't expecting much but the bangers and mash and a local IPA made the wait for the delayed flight tolerable. Jill behind the bar was very kind and everything came quickly. The folks next to me enjoyed the wings. read more

The Pub is a place in the airport that serves food. Should you eat here? Maybe! There aren't a lot of other sit down options. The interior is really well done in an English Pub them. I had a lovely photo of QEII starting at me while I ate which was both unsettling and awesome. The Pub seems best suited for drinks as one might expect. We, however, needed lunch. I opted for a Caesar salad and it was just ok - overdressed with boring salad mix. I don't expect much in airports so this lived up to my expectations. read more

I visited this place while they were in Rocky River on Detroit Rd. I love there fish and chips, shepherds pie, all their apps! The servers are English, Scottish or Welsh. I will not go into the detail that I would typically do for a review since I was at The Pub for breakfast. The business is typical for an airport bar that also serves food. The bar itself dominates the room. There are about 20 four tops and a few people dined at the bar itself. The place was very cold. The breakfast menu has a decent variety of selections. I ordered coffee, scrambled eggs with bacon, fried potatoes and sourdough toast. My wife had an omelette with fried potatoes and rye toast. The meal was decent and the coffee was actually pretty good. Service was fine too. The price was around $30. Not cheap, but then you have to expect this in an airport. read more

Irish pub themed restaurant. The usual Irish dishes with some American sandwich and salad favorites. A very decent choice for lunch or dinner, especially given the limited choices in many airports. I was pleasantly surprised by this Brit-styled pub. The interior is snug, dark-wood toned, and additionally had a droll "outdoor" patio section as an alternate seating area. The menu certainly had many familiar American faves like burgers and reubens, but they highlighted some classic (maybe cliched?) British pub fare like bangers & mash, fish & chips, scotch eggs, shepherd pie. I had a nice ham and melted swiss on a pretzel bun with Guiness-braised onions. It was rich, tasty, and satisfying; the pretzel bun had a nice al dente chewiness to it; and it came with a mustard sauce on the side that had a good bite and sharpness. The Pub also offered a decent selection of UK stouts, lagers, and ales as well as domestic ones; and a selection of well-known scotches. If I ever get delayed in CLE, I'll at least know a place to settle into and plow through the single malts! read more

Had a flight delay so stopped in. The service was terrible. The food was acceptable. I finished my meal and the server was no where to be found and I needed to leave to catch my flight. I went to the bar and asked if I could pay. She said no you have to pay your waitress. She went to get here and I heard my waitress say he can wait. I walked over and told her I could not wait I had to go so could I just pay. She said no she had other people to take care of. I said I just want to pay could I see the manager. She slammed the card reader down and said there it is. So said where is the manager. When the manager came I asked can I just pay. The waitress said I put the reader out for you and that I was such an idiot I could not do it. I said I would never eat here again. The manager said that is fine we don't want you. Is that how to treat customers. This is an airport restaurant. People do not have unlimited time to wait. I travel through CLE frequently and will never go back. Don't recommend this place. Sitting at the airport getting the worst service ever! I thought I was going to order food, but after she dropped off my drink- she never came back! I'd hate to see what would happen if they were busy! The bar was not even 1/4 full!! I had o stop at a magazine shop and buy a bag of chips! I was so happy to find this oasis in the middle of the airport while the BF and I were waiting for our flight home! I don't do fast food if it's at all possible, so we decided to check this place out. Last day of our mini vacay so why not get a beer? we are in the PUB!! They had a pretty good beer list and I saw Palm on draft! WHAA?? Our waitress was also super sweet and knowledgeable. But ;( BUMMER!! the keg was dry!!! I ended up with a Stella I think and a really tasty chicken salad with cranberries and almonds and mandarin oranges. I was trying!! My BF tried the shepherd's pie and really liked it. The atmosphere was also really cozy and cute and there was a good size bar where you could watch sports or news du jour if you like! I would recommend this as a change from the average fast food airport fare. We were glad we did! read more
