Hubby and I stopped in for dinner. It was our first time here and we would totally come back. The service was great. The bartender was very friendly and attentive. This is a typical dive bar atmosphere, nothing fancy, but clean and cozy. The food was really good and the drinks are cheap. We order the mozzarella sticks as an appetizer, I got the chicken tender basket and the hubby got the mushroom and Swiss burger. We both did the garlic Parm fries. My only complaint was the fries weren't hot when they came out. I'm assuming be side the garlic Parm sauce is cold and they toss them in the sauce. Regardless they were really good. read more

Stopped in yesterday with my dog. Sat upfront on the patio deck. We were in the shade and they had the game on a tv that was moved outside. Perfect viewing. The bartender quickly greeted me and asked if I was ready to order a beverage. He quickly returned with my beer and a cup of water for the dog. I ordered a burger and asked to have the fries tossed with the Cajun seasoning (no problem). The food arrived quickly. The burger really hit the spot and the fries were some of the best in the area (scratch made). Many of the other patrons and the staff were very friendly to my dog. Finally visted Wagon Wheel Pub again. I've been wanting to go, but we just didn't make it a priority. It was too late in the evening to munch on a burger. So I went with a house salad with extra ranch dressing on the side. My wife requested nachos and my cousins ordered garlic cheese fries and tacos. My salad and my wife's nachos were served within five minutes. A few minutes later, the fries arrived. A long time passed and then the tacos were delivered. My cousin said the tacos were excellent. We had some beers to wash it all down. Unfortunately, since they have garage style doors and people smoke outside, the smoke enters the building and you basically get to breathe it while you're visiting. Cigarette smoke is my #1 pet peeve in this life. So I kind of hated that part of the visit. The salad was excellent, the service was fast and friendly, and we got to watch most of the Ohio State football game. I'd visit again if I'm back in my old stomping grounds, preferably to taste one of their large burgers. read more

I have never actually been to Wagon Wheel... But I've ordered food via UberEats a few times. The pizza is ok, but "ok" in a sea of pizza shops around here says something. The burgers that I have gotten, on the other hand, were fantastic. (Beef patties had to be 1/2 lb or more... Cooked and seasoned great... Buns, toppings were on point.) Their fries are ridiculous.... I shoved an entire side of them into my face before I realized what was happening. I look forward to try more off their menu. read more

We decided to give Wagon Wheel a try. I have never been there. They had our favorite beer on draft and TVs to watch the games on. The place is pretty small but cozy. Could use some updates. Servers were friendly and kept checking on us. We had the corned beef sandwich that was on special for St Patrick Day. It was served on paper plates but was really good. I'll first say that I'm surprised at all the negative reviews on here! I hope mine will even that out a bit. I've attended a private Halloween party at the Wagon Wheel the last 2 years and always had a great time. The food is good, drinks are poured well and affordable. When it came time to plan my sisters 30th surprise party, I immediately thought of Wagon Wheel. I stopped in to chat with Shelly and she gave me a catering menu. The menu has a great, simple selection of appetizers at a super reasonable price. The whole process was really informal- there was no contract or deposit, but that really allowed Shelly to be flexible for us. It was easy to reach her for questions up to the party- she responded right away and was really easy-going with our planning. We gave her our food order a week before. She let us come in the day before to set up and made sure everything was perfect. The basement area was perfect for our group of 60- there's a nice patio for the smokers, a private bathroom and plenty of dance floor space! All the food was brought down HOT and at the same time. It's great food, too. Our bartenders were really nice and everyone had fun. Despite the busy upstairs bar, Shelly checked with us several times during the party to make sure everything was going well. The party went off without a hitch and I would highly recommend the Wagon Wheel for your private event! The food in the regular bar area is great, too, so stop in for dinner and drinks that won't break the bank! read more

I am pleasantly surprised at how awesome this place is! I was expecting a typical divey bar with bar food, but it is so much more than that. With it being takeout only right now, we got the 5 for $25 special to go. You get two HUGE quesadillas, fries, salad, and an order of chicken tenders. We also ordered a pepperoni pizza and wings to try as we heard awesome things about both those items. I gotta tell you, there was nothing disappointing in the meal. The quesadillas were loaded with cheese, chicken, tomatoes, and onions and actually tasted freshly prepared. The salad had some dark leafy greens, cheese, tomato, and onions and with the ranch. Solid good restaurant ranch. The chicken tenders reminded me of a restaurant I used to go to growing up that is no longer open. They didn't have the heavy batter, they were a bit lighter and the chicken inside was cooked perfectly. The portion of fries was huge and they had the good salty seasoned flavor with the skins, my absolute favorite. Admittedly they were not very crispy, but I attribute that to eating them to go vs fresh in the restaurant. We got 6 teriyaki and 6 garlic parm wings. I thought they were very meaty and crispy on the outside, the way I like. Both sauces complimented the meat well and they weren't too salty or overbearing. Finally, my favorite item was the pizza. We got pepperoni and omg!! They got it nice and crispy, with the bubbly cheese and Italian seasonings. The crust was crispy and soft and not too filling, absolutely delightful! The best part is we have leftovers as they give sooo much food! I definitely recommend checking this place out and giving it a try, especially in this current environment. The staff is very friendly, the place inside is very beautiful and clean, and pickup was a breeze. We called in our order earlier in the day and they had it ready right on time. I used to pass the full parking lot every day on my way home and it took me awhile but eventually we stopped.here to eat and we're in on the secret too now Wonderful burgers cheap and delicious with a huge list of accompaniments also several varieties of wings all yummy so far. We just stopped by for a couple of burgers and a couple drinks. Got the burger and it smelled funny but i was hungry and are it. I had about three bites left and smelled it and damn did it stink. The tomatoes on it smelled like they came out of a dumpster. The fries tasted like they were fried earlier and the fried again to half ass heat them up. The drunks were good and the girls did their job but damn. I had the girls smell that garbage we were served. Obviously the cook couldnt give two shits. The cook must have the covid because he cant smell shit. I puked on the way out the door and again when i got home. Dont think I'll ever be back. O.M.G. people, I hope you think twice and check out your food. We both ordered the hamburger as it was a Saturday special, this is served with fries. Hey, add few adult beverages and we could enjoy a nice quick meal. We bit into our burgers and thought there was an odd smell... this meat was OLD... TOO OLD TO COOK AND SERVE TO THE PUBLIC!!! WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU ??? WE did not want food taken off of our bill as the young lady tried but we had both of the girls to SMELL that awful smelly OLD MEAT!! They tried to give us a bill for the drinks alone, but we told her to charge the real price and keep the rest, but that we probably wouldn't come back to eat. My husband didn't make it out the door. He threw up at the stairs outside. and again at the house. The fries tated and even LOOKED like they were fried and then sat around, THEN they were served to us!!! It was only a half an hour ago since we left, and we are BOTH sick. Either the owners should check their food or the City of Parma Health department should !!! I've never been a fan of Parma bars, or Parma in general for that matter. If this bar was in an area that I enjoyed frequenting I would most likely only rate it 1 star, but the fact that it's one of the few bars in Parma I can stand I gave it a 2. There are actually two bars, one on the ground level, The Wagon Wheel, and another in the basement. I believe the downstairs bar is called Bar 2. Why the bar in the basement has it's own name is beyond me because it's 100% affiliated with The Wagon Wheel. I prefer the atmosphere of Bar 2, mainly because it's usually a ghost town down there so you can walk in with a group of friends and pretty much have the place to yourself. One negative thing I can say about Bar 2 is that they don't have the same selection of beer/liquor of the upstairs bar. To the bar tenders credit they are more than willing to make a trip upstairs for anything they don't stock downstairs. The last time I was their was on a Saturday night for a friends birthday celebration. There were about 10 of us & we were pretty much the only people at Bar 2. They had a DJ/karaoke but it was pretty terrible. At one point the DJ played Rick James - Super Freak followed by M.C. Hammer - U Can't Touch This back to back. Both songs have the EXACT SAME BEAT! Also the DJ only played about 3 out of the 15-20 requests we made. When we had finally consumed enough liquid courage the DJ dropped the ball on the karaoke portion of the night as well. We had a backlog of at least 5 songs to sing & he kept insisting on playing songs in between our performances. This may not be funny to anyone else but a gentleman who closely resembled Grand Moff Tarkin (of Star Wars fame) was present that night as well. My friends & I got a kick out of it, probably because we're all movie nerds. The Wagon Wheel does serve food, but I can't vouch for it. I have a friend who raves about their wings, so if you're a wing aficionado it might be worth checking out. The majority of the bar patrons are typically middle aged men, but it's been my experience that they're pretty friendly. You could do a lot worse in Parma due to it being one of the few places that isn't infected with questionable women & a sea of Affliction t-shirts. read more

Haven't been here since St. Patrick's Day earlier this year. A lot has gone downhill since then. Scott served tables ever half-hour or so and gave off a terrible attitude. Ordered food and it took over an hour to arrive. Was told the kitchen was backed up and only 1 cook. There were maybe 20ish patrons. Went over an hour sitting with nobody stopping by for refills. There are many items on the menu to choose from and I have never been disappointed in the bar food specials, staffing or experiences I have had here. The previous reviews seem to be a mixed bag. I have probably been to this bar about 30 times over the past few years, and I have no idea who Shelley is (apparently the manager), and on that note I don't know people are interacting with her so much. Maybe it's just me but I go to bars to interact with my friends and other patrons, not the manager. That all being said, the Wagon Wheel is a decent bar. It's a little small but has a nice heated patio during the winter. They also have a second bar downstairs "Bar 2" but it is rarely open. They've got a bunch of flat screens with sports on all the time. They also have a touch tunes jukebox, and touch screen bar video game station. Alcohol prices are very reasonable. I don't know if I've ever had their food, but when my friends get it, it looks like your average bar food. Nothing bad, but nothing amazing. It's a nice bar to grab a beer and watch a game. Note: The crowd at this bar is usually a but older (40s), but not always. However, usually I'm the youngest person there (early 20s). read more

Worlds smallest wings... The size and with of your thumb, yes I have pictures to prove it. The wings came out 15 minutes before the rest of the table's food, and they were not ordered as an appetizer. Probably because they are all bone and take 34 seconds to fry. We ordered a rueben panini and gyro, they dont have a panini press so changed our order to two gyros. Bartender brings out 2 RUEBENS on cold bread. Corned beef was sooo fatty and dry, couldnt even eat it. not to mention we sat outside and had to go in to order our food and drinks... What's with that? Hire a server. What is it with Parma and their randomly awesome bar food? A few good friends of mine live in Parma, which means that I'm there pretty frequently. And I'm glad that they take me to places like this. Yes, the ambiance is pretty much "generic bar with classic rock playing in the background." But, friend, if you can't get behind that once in a while, you obviously must be a better man than I. Oh yeah, the food -- the burgers here are absolutely phenomenal. And huge. And cheap (like, 5 bucks, including fries or onion rings). They have a decent choice of beer on tap as well. And, while I didn't order it, the pizza looks pretty good as well. I wish more joints would take a lesson from here: a more limited menu means a place has an opportunity to get just a couple things REALLY right. read more

I use to come here a couple years ago but stopped due to the rudeness and complete ignorance of the previous manager. I live in the Parma area and decided to try a new pizza establishment in the area. I decided to try Wagon Wheel pizza. My wife went up to order some pizza to go and was told that it's too busy and they are not doing any carry-out orders. This is very disappointing. They couldn't say that it would be a wait because of how busy they are, instead they turn away the business.
