Super cool little dive bar on top of the hill in Columbia Station. Looks bigger on the inside without losing its cozy feel. The server behind the bar wasn't the most attentive and had trouble remembering drink orders on more than one occasion, but she might've been new. Stopped in for the first time with a party of 4 and was greeted warmly by our server Alysa, who was extremely pleasant, efficient and helpful, she has a real warm personality, perfect for the restaurant business. We had a few reasonably priced drinks and all ordered burgers. We were all pleased with the food, the fresh cut fries were awesome and the burgers were thick and juicy served on a nice brioche bun. This is a hidden (in plain site) gem. If I lived closer this would be one of my to go places but I came from Eastlake so it's not too convenient. Tiny local bar. I let them know I had not been there before after 25 years in the neighborhood. She tells me the places I go just have bar food. Oh yeah, and what are you about to serve at your little bar? Wow! Wife has the chicken pot pie in a crock and for $10 it was fantastic. I had the cheeseburger egg rolls and the buffalo chicken salad that was spot on and very large. I saw the burger of the month wrapped in pizza dough and wished I got that. Then I saw the pizzas and a few other items. It is not bar food. We sat at the bar and the server was really good and actually apologized for the very talkative gentleman next to my wife who they cut off 20 minutes before he left and offered him soft drinks. He still left angry with friends, but he will thank them later. If you are in the area, do yourself a favor and eat here. Oh yeah, have a drink while you are there. read more

Dive bar with surprisingly good food. It was a very busy and loud crowd on Friday evening. It's currently a heatwave here, so air conditioning is important. It wasn't great. But it's a small place and it was VERY crowded. We all enjoyed our meals. I got a BLT with the house made chips. Wonderful thick cut bacon that was cooked nice and crispy. Perfect for a sandwich. The chips were wonderfully seasoned and served with chip dip. It was excellent. All of us raved over the food. One star deducted because service was a little slow but improved over time. Could have just been a crazy rush, as it was quite busy! Definitely worth the wait and trip. I look forward to trying an egg roll. They do specialty ones and they look interesting! read more

Came by on a recent weekday (with a co-worker) to finally give this place a try. Been meaning to stop here for quite some time and finally got around to it...what took me so long?!?!? The outside looks like a small house atop a gentle hill next to the railroad tracks. Inside, there is definitely a neighborhood bar kinda feel. It was comfortable and our server was very pleasant and accommodating. She took our drink and food orders and was off to the kitchen! I ordered a build-your-own burger with fresh cut fries as my wide. When the burger arrived, i think my eye may have bugged out of my head. Holly cow (pun intended), the thing was mammoth! I ordered it cooked medium rare and it was just right. I wanted a simple set-up to really taste the meat...burger patty, sliced dill pickles and American cheese topped with ketchup, mustard and mayo. For how big it was, the brioche bun held up incredibly well to both the heft of the patty as was as all its juicy goodness. My only gripe (and it was minor) was that the fresh cut fries could have been cooked a minute or two longer...but they were still tasty, i just prefer them a bit crisper. We did not get to try their wings, which we had also heard were pretty good...we'll have to save them for our next visit. read more

We were pleasantly surprised by this little place. We were very unsure what to expect when we pulled up. It's definitely a little corner bar, but the food is really good. They have daily food specials and daily drink specials. We were there on Thursday so it was $5.99 burger night. The burger was great and it came with fries or chips. The chips are homemade and their dip is similar to Lawson's and SO GOOD!! There was a preseason Browns game on - and during the Browns games they have a nacho bar! It's awesome!! Someone at work suggested Aces "dive bar w/ good food" so I took a short drive over. Grace, the bartender, was very welcoming and suggested a beer that I might like. It was perfect in a cold glass. I also loved the super delish hawaiian pizza. I sat at the bar, watched some tennis and ate the gooey pizza with a thin, crisp on the edges crust. Really impressed! Kudos to the chef! Ordered A patty melt. Menu said the bread was rye but looked more like whole wheat. The bottom of the basket was loaded with grease. The fresh cut fries were the best I ever had. Also tasted the cream cheese pepper popper from another one in my party and it was delicious. The service was excellent and the cook and maybe manager came over to our party of six to talk. After the closing of Aces in North Ridgeville we were hoping to find a good substitute for the "roulette wheel" pizza they made so we decided to try their "sister" restaurant which was no longer directly related to the NR facility but used the same dough recipe and supplier for their ingredients. We were a bit nervous after getting out of the car as the place looks closed from the outside. We decided to try the door anyways and roll the dice. I have been in my fair share of seedy looking places in my life so I thought "why not" and I am glad I did! This was definitely a "bar with some tables added", we were a bit turned off with a rowdy Sunday crowd as not 1 bar stool was empty. We quickly sat at a table and was greeted quickly by the very friendly bartender. We were pleasantly surprised with her attitude and helpfulness with a "new" patron. She was able to get us served and be very attentive even though she was the ONLY person helping customers in the entire establishment. Even though she tried her best to get us a pizza that resembled the old Aces Roulette Wheel it wasn't happening but the pizza we DID get was fantastic. I only wish they would've told me they doused the crust with Parmesan cheese as it was super salty. Overall though the crust tasted good and the dough had risen quite well! I will also mention that the wings were fantastic as well. This is truly a "hole in the wall" with good pizza and wings and is truly funded by their "regulars". I dock them a star for the outside appearance as it could turn some people off. read more

First tasted their food when they catered St. Patrick Day Party at Olmsted Falls Senior Apartments. Delicious corned beef sandwiches, super lean, and homemade chips. Decided to get takeout today and try their wings. They promised me I would like them better than than where I usually go on Sheldon and Eastland. They were right. So big and delicious. First of all, what's not to love about this place? Great music, great people, great bartenders. This is a really friendly neighborhood bar with great food! Taylor, the bartender makes amazing drinks. Ask her for a Bloody Mary. She makes them herself and it is one of the best I have ever had. In addition, I asked her to make me a random drink because I was not sure what I wanted and she made me summer in a glass. That is the only way I can describe her drink. It was delicious! Taylor is truly gifted in her craft. I also have to give a shout out to Brooke as well. She is so nice and personable. And makes a night at the bar fun and exciting. As for the food, I have had many in my time here but my favorite is the Buffalo chicken salad. Its presentation is beautiful. I also really enjoyed the new nachos. Great afternoon watering hole! It's a no frills local pub with a lot of character. The staff is conversant in "beer" having been taught about all the nuances about what they have to offer. We recently moved to Olmsted Falls and love to venture to all the locally owned places. This place was a cute bar near the railroad tracks and is probably what some would say a dive bar but that's the ones I navigate to because I have often found hidden treasures in those bars! This one did not let me down! I have went there several times and every time the food has been great! My kids love their burgers and fries! And the bar tenders have great memories- even though we've only been there 3 times in 3 months they remembered who we were as asked house we liked our new home!
