First time back there in years. One of the best takeaway experiences ever. I arrived to find three staff members. Very friendly. They walked me through steps to create a bowl, wrap or salad. I needed a moment to process everything and realized there was someone standing behind me. So I suggested he so ahead. Well, this guy not only was recognized as a regular, they also had a print out of his ingredient list for his bowl! I stood there in absolute awe that a company would be so accommodating. He also placed a second order by reading it from a text. The staff was amazing. Quick wit, efficient, clean, organized and incredibly courteous. I finally figured out what I wanted and placed my order. As I pull my wallet out to pay, I'm informed that the guy I said could go ahead of me paid for my salad!!! Y'all. Talk about a great experience all around. The young man had already left so I couldn't thank him. Hopefully he's on Yelp and will read this because the whole experience made my night and reminded me that there are definitely great people in this world! read more

Good concept, health food, yummy recipes, inconsistent delivery. I discovered this place a few months ago and have been craving for it every time I want to eat healthy. However, recently, starting about early December, I noticed inconsistent portion of a same order multiple times. Twice I had undercooked thai noodles. They were not edible unfortunately. The sauce they used on the spicy chicken also seems to be bafflo instead of thai spicy like what I had last weekend. I noticed obvious inconsistency in their food. It's been a hit or miss this month. The staff always seem not familiar with the work flow. It's not clear who you should talk to for ordering sides and broth. They also internally had to communicate multiple time on one order which shows lack of procedure or training. Overall, really good concept and good recipes. However, the management should pay more attention to training and establishing clearly defined work flow. I hope you guys stay in the market. read more

I've been to CoreLife a few dozen times since it opened in Strongsville. It was great when it opened, but somehow they still managed to get vastly better over time. They have really increased their selections and added lots of new flavors. Everything is very good and done very well. They make the food right in front of you and you can make substitutions as you go. Kind of like Subway or Chipotle. The dining room is always spotless, and the staff is very friendly and efficient. They are always happy to answer any questions I have about the ingredients. The prices are pretty reasonable considering this is fresh and healthy food. If you are looking for a quick meal that is also healthy, this is the place! read more

My favorite place! Endless possibilities, I enjoy making new bowls every time I go! If You want a salad, there's all different kinds of lettuce and all the toppings you could want. If you're in the mood for a soup that's filling, this is your place. I prefer to get noodles and rice and add my toppings with barbecue chicken. Healthy food options galore at CoreLife Eatery. There are menus as soon as you walk in and you can always ask for an explanation, if you need it. Basically you can select one of their pre-designed bowls from the menu with the option of changing any of the individual ingredients to your liking. You can also go full custom and create your own bowl with a base, a vegetable choice, and a protein. The bases are things like purple rice or quinoa, the vegetables can vary and were either Brussels sprouts or root vegetables when I was there, and there are plenty of protein options, like steak, chicken, or fish. They also have vegan options, and I know this because my cousin was there specifically for a vegan meal. I went with the steak, bacon, and blue cheese salad bowl and was very happy with it. There was a large selection of dressings as well and I went with the cranberry vinaigrette. It was actually orange in color, which surprised me until I realized they do not use artificial coloring's like a lot of store bought dressings would. All of their drinks are self serve natural beverages in active mix tanks that keep them will mixed. They range from drinks like lemonade, green tea, and fruit punch. I went with the Apple cider green tea and it was amazing. I definitely plan to go again and ironically just received a coupon for the restaurant in the mail. Woo Hoo! Oh and they currently have a 21 day challenge that is about to begin which is a campaign to get more people eating healthy all the time to see how it benefits their life and improve how they feel each day. Love the concept - it's like Chipotle but with healthy, made-from-scratch components. Impressively, their bone broth, dressing, sauces are made daily in house. There is a large variety of options: salads, grains, broth-based bowls, and rice bowls. The broth was a bit bland, but I added a little siracha and some salt to help My husband had the southwest grilled chicken and wild rice grain bowl. He said it was very good and very fresh. His only complaint was that there was some kind of grain in it that was undercooked or raw. They have many choices of fresh lemonade and tea here. My husband had the best lemonade, which sounded awful to me, but was actually quite good. I had the raspberry ice tea. All in all, we were glad we tried it and may come back. It is pricey - cost $25 for two bowls and two drinks. I'm sure you are paying for the "fresh" concept If you are looking for a meal that is heavy and makes you feel over filled and needing to unbutton your pants, then this isn't your place. Fast, fresh and vegan friendly! This is a "create your own" concept where you can get a broth bowl, salad bowl, or salad and grain bowl with a variety of toppings. My favorite so far is a tofu and quinoa bowl with a spicy carrot and ginger sauce topped with tofu. I got a power plate with steak, rice noodles, and baked root veggies which I found to be immaculate in quality. The menu allows for a lot of different options from salads, soups, and whatnot. I actually find it ironic how it's such a healthy restaurant located right next to a burger/fries restaurant. But as someone who's used to tiny European-style portions, this was enough food for me but I could see it not being the case for some others. Like so many of other reviewers noted, it's got a variety of wonderful, healthy options that are sure to leave you feeling great and satisfied after eating there. I tried the tuna poke bowl and my mom got the Asian chicken bowl with bone broth. All of the ingredients were fresh. They forgot to put the quinoa on my bowl, and it had a slightly funky taste, and my mom's broth was a bit bland. I eat salads for lunch every day from souper market or tastebuds and they are hefty yet healthy portions for the same price and I am full following. When I got to the check out I had to literally pause when she said the $9 because I was like there simply is no way that was considered a "big bowl" they must have accidentally given me the small bowl. Nope. I pulled it out of the bag and stared at it and said really? She said is something wrong with it? I said this is the big bowl? It seems a little small. She awkwardly smiled and said yes. My first and only experience at CoreLife Eatery was what I expected. I ordered the spicy chicken Thai rice noodle, but substituted the chicken for a fried egg. It was pretty good, but I definitely think that I will order something else the next time I go. I will say that this was a yummy healthy meal after an intense workout. Something that I was pleasantly surprised by was that I received a discount for having just finished a workout at Orange Theory. Per usual I asked the staff for recommendations and she suggested the south west salad. My boyfriend created his on bowl of basically everything that was available. Core Life is a very interesting restaurant to say the least. It was a great atmosphere, but I was not crazy about the food. It wasn't bad but it did not make my taste buds do a dance. Fresh, infinitely customizable, and tasty. I like that they don't bat an eye about asking for a bowl that is Keto (no rice or noodles, no fruit, and otherwise ultra low carb). Their poke (tuna) was very fresh, and the greens in the bowl were as well... none of the old romaine or iceberg lettuce you sometimes see in quick-service restaurants. I only wish they had a few more dressing choices that didn't include agave or sugar. I have only ever gotten a salad from here And usually order online. Some days are better than on there. The 3 times I have ordered here my order has been fantastic one time. The first time I ordered here I ordered a regular bowl with romaine, with spinach and other veggies, no meat. The proportions were a lot smaller then I thought they were going to be. I also ordered extra cucumbers and paid for extra but didn't get them. Next time I ordered I ordered the larger bowl (since last time it was too small) a salad again with extra cucumbers and added chicken as well. They go it right that time. I also ordered a gluten free macaroni and cheese..... ewwww! As someone who eats gluten free 99% of the time this was over cooked and mushy. I wanted to call them and offer tips on how to cook it but I didn't want to come off as rude so I didn't call. The cheese on looked almost as if it had curdled. It was disgusting! I didn't eat it I just threw it away! For over priced macaroni and cheese it is not worth it! Go across the street to get gluten free Kraft at target. The 3rd time I ordered through the app an hour ahead for pick up. I ordered a large salad with veggies and the dressing on the side because I was taking it to work. Dressing looked like it was partially on the salad and maybe they had forgotten and just added more lettuce on top to cover it up. And then they also put some on the side. They also put green onions on my salad and I didn't ask for that and I had to pick those finely chopped green onions off of my salad. It still tasted fine after I picked those off during my break. That was annoying but overall depending on the day you order it could be bad it could be good.
