We stopped in Ohio for our Midwest roadtrip and found this restaurant in our hotel's restaurant list. I'm glad we found this. The price is good ($64 for 10 wings, a soup, a big salad, a beer, and a big portion of shrimp appetizer). Everything was delicious. Those wings were out of this world! I think they're double-fried. It's been a bit since we ate here last so we were happy we were close and could stop by for dinner. We got on the waitlist from Yelp. Super helpful. Otherwise you got to do it from the iPad at the door. We were 8th in line. But it went fast. Reminder it is a small place and It gets slammed. Even the bar seats are to be seated. Sat and got a cider. Ordered the bacon bourbon wings, wedge salad to split, and onion rings. Ya it was too much. But all good. Onion rings were hot and really good batter. Salty which was good. The wings are big and very crunchy. Sauce was good. Wedge salad is large to share and Kathy and I split it. Lots of stuff in it and the dressing is good. I love this place. My only issue is the cost. This place is not cheap. And I get it. Costs are on the rise every week and it's good food. I just wish it was a bit less so we could go more. Quality good food = higher prices. I get it. I don't have to like it. So you still get my business just not often. Dive bar that's good food, good beer selection, small dining area, loyal following, and a bit higher prices. We went to Teschner's Tavern in Richfield tonight and had a wonderful experience from start to finish. We had planned to arrive during prime dinner time, so we made a reserved reservation through Yelp, which was definitely the right call. We started with the truffle fries, and even though I don't usually like or order crinkle-cut fries, these were outstanding. They were topped with shaved Parmesan, sun-dried tomato aioli, and truffle basil mayo and were absolutely delicious. For entrées, I had the Brandy Burger with chips, which was fantastic. My husband ordered The Pammy Melt with chips and a side salad, and the homemade ranch dressing was especially good. My younger son had the New York strip steak with sweet potato fries, finished with a bourbon maple syrup glaze that he loved. My oldest son went with the Cheeseburger Deluxe and fries, which he said was great as well. From the outside, the restaurant looks like an old house, and inside it's quite small, but very quaint, cozy, and welcoming. We did wait about 20 minutes for a table, but our server was incredibly friendly and attentive the entire time. He checked on us multiple times, offered drinks while we waited, and kept us updated on when our table would be ready. He was kind, personable, and clearly attentive to everyone in the dining area. Overall, the food, atmosphere, and service made for a really enjoyable night. We would absolutely go back. read more

I left a dive bar/ biker bar which really is my preference. Problem was the one server for the whole bar would walk by my empty bottle for every serving and it was several times. This place is the exact opposite andhopping, been busy every visit and they're on top of things. Had the fuego wings which came out hot from the fryer. They drop them at time of order and don't precook like most others. The pammy melt is a play off the patty melt. Is 10oz of very tender and flavorful beef with the onions on marble rye. We have been trying to get in to Teschner's since just after the pandemic and... no luck. Why? Because the place is packed!!! Seriously I live a few miles away and every time I go by the parking lot is packed and there is a line out the door. One time there were a few cars, no line... we were excited... but private event!! So we were stoked when we were on our way to the grocery store on a very snowy afternoon, the other day... few cars, no private event, and we were like woo hoo!! What impressed me the most is how mature Teschner's is now. They know who they are, what they do, and their customers. And that is a good product. The atmosphere is like Cheers. It's a really nice feeling. The food here is outstanding. Their mom's homemade recipes - like the green beans, I really recommend this it's like my grandmother's growing up in western Maryland, or the "magic mustard" wing sauce, my wife's favorite - are still there. But there is some refinement too. The French Onion soup I had was really subtle - the onion broth done over hours and no cheese bomb overload. Just a nice soup. Salads were fresh with homemade white French dressing; burger was well prepared. There were so many other things we wanted to try - we will be back! If we can get in! :-) Really happy to see such a great local place hitting its stride in Richfield. It's worth a trip out from Cleveland / Akron. read more

My husband and I stopped in here for the first time a couple weeks ago and will definitely be back! The waitlist on yelp made it so convenient to get a table and the service was great, the owner checked on us multiple times and made suggestions. We split the trio appetizer, he got wings and I got a frisco melt (which I was so happy to see on the menu!) the app was great, the melt was cheesy and delicious, and the teschner's tang sauce will be a regular order for us. read more

Best hidden gem in NEO! I got the hand cut Ribeye and it was hands down just as good as the high dollar steak houses in town. The coleslaw had a great horseradish flavor to it if you're a fan. The service was the best we have had in a long time. Possibly the best service we've ever had in a restaurant. Highly recommend checking this place out. read more

Small tavern so make sure to get on the waitlist early. We dined here twice and the wait was 1hr during rush time but was able to walk in when the first opened at 3pm. Place has a great vibe, cult local following but well deserved! The wings are amazing, I recommend the Teschner's Sauce. Frisco Melt were amazing, fries were crispy, and my partner got the bacon cheeseburger melt. We got the spinach artichoke dip both times. We went to TESCHNERS Tavern last night for the first time with our best friends and what an amazing experience! We were met first with our server, Tommy and he was so kind and welcoming. He gave us such great service. Not only was the food delicious, but the atmosphere was easy-going, comfortable and the other staff came over and introduced themselves as well. We also got to meet our chef and he was very gracious and kind. The burger was incredibly good and probably one of the best that I have tasted. The salmon was delicious and my husband got the ribeye steak. Everything was cooked to perfection. I would highly recommend this restaurant!!!! We will definitely be back! read more
