10oz Ribeye and 4oz lobster tail with mashed potatoes and green beans. Yum!
    Kimberly N.

If you are in the Bedford area and looking for a great place to eat, this is the place. We had delicious ribeyes and lobster tails with green beans and mashed potatoes for $30.00 and $34.00 each!!! The steak (I had the 10oz) was delicious and tender! Lobster tails were 4oz and cooked perfectly as well. The mashed potatoes were some of the most creamy I have had. The meal came with mushrooms and onions and the green beans were really tasty and perfectly cooked and seasoned. This is not a fancy place. It is a local bar atmosphere but the service was great and you could not get a better value for the price. We will return for sure

Siena's Cafe is a small cafe with a cool 1960's small town vibe. The food is really good! The service is very friendly and the location is easy to find. The food is tasty like home cooking.

Porkchop, Garlic Mash Potatoes, and fresh green beans.

How many of you are aware of this little restaurant/bar in Bedford, Ohio? I felt like I traveled back in time with the price point and quality of food. We were both pleasantly surprised! Initially, we went there for the advertised clambake. After looking over the menu, I decided to order the same thing as my companion. I ordered the pork chop dinner, with garlic mash potatoes, green beans, and a salad, for 12.95, a bowl of steamed clams, and their clam chowder. The meal came, and everything was immense and delicious. I've never tasted such a delicious and well-prepared pork chop in my life! The pork chop was grilled to perfection, juicy, cooked through with a light pale pink center. The garlic mash was to die for, and their chowder was tasty. Not to mention that salad! Their draft beer is 2.50 cents! These are my old hometown prices from yore! The waitstaff was knowledgeable and pleasant. Proud of their food. Their 16-ounce steaks are supposed to be yummy! Our waiter gave us a taste sampling of their Lobster Bisque. I ate my salad, chowder, some clams and took a few bites of my dinner. I certainly could not eat 1/4 of my meal, but it was all delicious. This establishment has an ole-time restaurant philosophy, (Don't have an extensive menu, do what you do very well, make sure the food is reasonably priced so they can feed their whole family, and don't let them walk away hungry)! I have my meal and 1/2 of meal here in the refrigerator. ($12.95) This little restaurant will be my new I don't want to cook tonight's dinner stop. I highly recommend you go for dinner or lunch and take everyone you know, just toss on some jeans and sit down to a very yummy made for you in Ohio meal!

The food is decent but lately, the service level along with the attitudes and unfriendliness you get from some of the evening bartenders/servers (Laura and Hannah) and Brett, who is the owner, is quite lousy. The owner is a classic narcissist and he thinks he is ALWAYS right. His m/o is to bully and intimidate you until you agree with him. From what I have observed, he can be rather disrespectful to his customers. Tonight, I defended my 81 year old friend regarding the parking situation and I was told to leave the establishment by the owner. Here's what happened. Currently as of Wednesday (4/17/24), there are no handicapped spaces available near the front door because a good portion of the parking lot including the few handicapped spaces that are usually available are being dug up due to water/sewer issues I assume. My friend Dennis parked his vehicle directly parallel in front of the construction area by the front door. We had arrived at separate times approximately between 8:30 pm and 8:45 pm. At 9:03pm, (they close at 10pm), Brett tells Dennis twice that he needs to move his car in a very rude, condescending manner. Dennis can barely walk, he uses a cane and has very limited mobility. When Dennis was about to question why exactly, Brett again stated "Do I have to tell you again?". Brett then walked away. Our friend Matt was with us too and Matt and I both offered to go and move Dennis's car. Matt ultimately moved Dennis's car. When Matt came back, Matt was telling me and Dennis that it is an ADA law that public places MUST offer and HAVE AVAILABLE handicapped parking. Here is the law directly from the internet- The Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) is a federal law that prohibits discrimination against individuals with disabilities. It was enacted in 1990 and is designed to ensure equal opportunities and access for people with disabilities in various aspects of public life, including employment, transportation, and public accommodations. For the restaurant industry, ADA compliance is essential to ensure that individuals with disabilities have the same opportunities and experiences as everyone else. Restaurants must comply with the ADA's accessibility requirements to provide equal access to their facilities and services. Who Regulates ADA Compliance for Restaurants? ADA requirements for restaurants are enforced by the Department of Justice (DOJ). The DOJ has the authority to investigate complaints, conduct compliance reviews, and initiate legal actions against businesses that fail to meet ADA standards. They also provide guidance and technical assistance to help businesses understand and implement ADA requirements. Non-compliance with ADA regulations can result in serious consequences for businesses. Restaurants that fail to meet ADA requirements may face legal action, fines, and damage to their reputation. ---------------------------------------------------------------- To continue- One of the employees overheard the three of us discussing the situation and like a child would do or a snitch in jail, went to inform Brett. Brett then comes out from the back kitchen area and says to me, "Greg, you have a problem with me telling Dennis to move his car?" I reiterated what I learned from Matt regarding ADA to Brett and Brett stated he didn't care if Dennis has a problem with walking and he reiterated Dennis couldn't park where he did. Dennis and I have been frequenting this place for several years, usually getting good, friendly service. But lately, the girls and Brett have been displaying surly attitudes towards us... I said to Brett that Dennis is a good customer, and Brett said in front of all of us that Dennis is NOT a good customer. Like WOW, really??? During the escalating discussion, I called Laura the B-word, which I regret now, because I usually don't call people names, just not my style, but in the heat of the moment, I was very irritated that this was all happening. At this point, Brett told me to pack up my food and leave the restaurant. Looking at the review on here from 2/20/24 by Julianne L., I have also witnessed this happen on several occasions over the last few years. I used to be a very good tipper at this place, giving anywhere between 25-30% but lately, since service has really sucked and the piss poor attitudes too, I just lowered my tip amounts. I don't expect "red carpet" treatment but I do expect a friendly hello, how are you? Have a good night, see you next time, sorta thing. I started to feel a very cold, unwelcoming vibe in the recent weeks. In my opinion, this is a very low class environment. Matt even agreed with us that the service and attitudes are poor. I have seen the bartenders / servers drinking alcohol while performing their duties... I would NOT return EVEN if given an apology. My money will spend anywhere and I am sure I will get much friendlier, welcoming service.

First stop for the third annual chocolate walk. Willy Wonka and the oompas!! How festive. What a great idea for a winter event!! Love it. Excellent juicy burgers. Perfect crispy tator tots. Just can't wait to try the chocolate martini!! Oh my. Just took my first sip. Not sharing this one!!

    Half Pound Cheeseburger

This is what a classic half pound cheeseburger should be. Great little place close to downtown Bedford, Viaduct Park, and the Bedford Reservation of the Cleveland Metro Parks. Every summer they participate in Scene Magazine's Cleveland Burger Week.

One side of the normal menu- which has been around for ages.

Wonderful place to dine. I've been coming here for my whole life and not too much has changed. The food is still fantastic every time I go. Food is cheap, drinks are cheap and it's a great place to bring your family! Highly recommend it.

Good bar food. Friendly place and two types of fries! I had the burger it was large and the fries were perfect. Service was a little choppy but it is a bar so I can't expect good service. But service did make it a 4 star. Food is very good. So lower expectations on service and come here and eat!!

Huge cheeseburger for $5 bucks. My photo doesn't do the immensity justice. Fries were great too!

"Hook and Hoof" has been in downtown Willoughby for quite a while so they must be doing something right. And the fact that there aren't that many high level dining establishments in the Willoughby area helps. The first thing I noticed was the facility is very narrow which lends to a crowded feel. And all you need is one overly boisterous table (which was right next to us) and the noise level can be overwhelming. The server we had for the evening was very pleasant. She did a good job being timely with everything. But, it was odd that she often did not listen to an entire request (or maybe just couldn't hear) before walking away. There were a couple of requests for simple standard items that she wasn't even sure they had. I just found it odd. The food however was excellent. The kitchen staff did an exemplary job all night. I had a marvelous cocktail from the well stocked bar. And my double cut pork chop was fantastic. So full of flavor, juicy, cooked exactly as I requested. The sides that accompanied it were just tender enough without being mushy. And my banana cream pie was great. Overall, I give "Hook and Hoof" a solid 4. I definitely can see us going back. They deserve another try. You should give them a try and see for yourself.

The prices were astronomical so my daughter and I just ordered meatballs and potato wedges. I really wanted fish but there was only ONE fish dish on the menu and I didn't like how it was going to be prepared. There's a big disclaimer at the bottom of the menu that says "no substitutions or modifications". Geez, for a $40 fish plate you couldn't have modified it for me?? The meatballs were good, but came out luke warm. The wedges were good. The atmosphere was nice. For 3 meatballs, 5 potato wedges, and a 15% tip (she lost 5% due to not asking us for drinks) our bill came to $45. I *wish* I was joking. We won't be back. I honestly feel like I just got ripped off.
