I love this joint and am not sure why nobody else has reviewed it yet. When I lived in town, I would walk here every morning to get a bagel and some coffee. That is before I quit drinking coffee and eating bagels every morning. The hazelnut is the bomb with just a touch of cream. The bagels are great and there is a good selection of them. Most mornings they are still hot from being cooked- no need to toast if you are getting butter or cream cheese- it will melt right in and it is delicious. My favorite is the asiago bagel with some butter. Yumm. My wife is partial to the sesame with cream cheese which is also a winner. They have breakfast sandwiches as well which are great. At least once a quarter I would call ahead and order bagels and coffee for the office. I would get there and everything would be ready. They would help me load my car and off I went. Always a big hit with my employees. Lunch is great here too. They have ham sandwich that is really tasty. The turkey is good too. I think that you get bag of chips or something with lunch but I can't remember- it's been a little while since I had lunch there. The best thing about this place is the owner. After we moved I didn't go back to Einstein's for about a year. As soon as I walked in, she picked up exactly where we left off. When I bring my son in, she always has something to give him. Nice quick visit. Friendly service. Bagels were fresh and had great flavor. The woman was nice enough to prep a special bagel for my daughter. Good coffee. Only issue with this place is that they don't have inside seating available. Three two tops out front but those are quickly taken. read more

I came to your Chagrin location today with my service animal, a 6 lb yorkie. There were 5 other customers inside, and your employee on staff said "no animals allowed". My dog wasn't even doing anything, just standing there. I said "he is a service animal." She said "no he isn't, he doesn't have the vest." I'm tempted to call the police on her but figured I'd email you first. He is a registered service animal and I have all the paperwork on me. She called me out in front of the whole store and inappropriately made us leave, thinking a vest is what makes a service animal a service animal. I will be following up on this until I hear back from management that this was addressed. Until then I will be making the Chagrin falls community fully aware of what took place this morning. This was one of the most inappropriate interactions I've ever had in my life. read more

This is a pretty standard Einstein's location. The service is fast and friendly, and they always get your order right. I am not the biggest fan of Einstein's in general, but that is personal preference and for chains/franchises I think reviews should be more about the location... and if you like Einstein's, this is a great one! read more

Dirty inside. There's only 1/4 to maybe 1/2 of the bagels on the menu available at any time. You basically get what they have in stock. Staff are harried and moody. Despite this place is everything wrong, location is the only reason I occasionally drop in. However if the place was clean, staff trained and friendly, management on site and had indoor seating, I'd be there 3 - 4 times a week. Note that workers always to have their backs turned to you. Customer facing workers should be able to work facing their customers. No need to respond, it sounds defensive and insincere since these observations are repeating in the reviews. Just improve and we'll all notice the difference. Notice how glowing the first reviews were years ago and ask yourself what has changed. Chagrin Falls deserves better. read more

I go here quite a bit. It's good enough, but it will not bowl you over. Honestly, the interior is weathered, I don't find the place super clean. It's smaller and they look crammed in back. The only reason I go is 2 bagels. The pretzel bagel and the asiago cheese bagel. Sometimes when I'm having a super carb craving, I have to have a bagel. The coffee is pretty good as well. read more

I have never been to an einsteins' location, and i am very pleased with my experience. the person who took my order (glasses, maybe a highschooler) took my order and she was super friendly. i got my food from a tallish women with brown hair, and i went outside to eat. they got my order right, and i went back in for some water. the manager, i believe her name is ann, gave me the water cup and wished me a good day. read more

Always out of bagels. Slow service. Been this way for years. Nevertheless we like the bagels & its close to my house. It took 20 min standing in line this morning before I got to even place my order. Was in today for Sunday morning breakfast and not only did the team working seem to have no communication and working disoriented the main manager, mid age short blonde hair, was so rude to one of the bakers in front of multiple customers I could not believe the inappropriate behavior that is coming from a supervisor who is supposed to be the most responsible and well behaved employee. Totally disrespectful I think she does not deserve the position and will never be returning to this location. I went in today for yogurt and a small milk at around 8:30. The display was barren. They were out of most items. When I asked Debbie if they had any yogurt made up in the back, she rudely said no. Yet my brother walked into Einstein's a few minutes later and got a yogurt. Hmmm. While I'm on a roll, I often buy multiple items and have yet to be given a bag to hold these items. When I ask for one I feel it would be easier to ask them to donate one of their left lung to me. On a positive note there is a very sweet young man named Ethan who works there. Worst Einstein location I've ever been to, and I've been to many. Guess they feel they have a captive audience and they can operate in whatever fashion they choose. 9:20a on a Saturday and they're sold out of everything but Asiago and Everything bagels. A hometown staple :) I was just reminded of this location on Sunday, when my dad woke up early to bring home some bagels for breakfast. I am guessing there are only two reviews because it is just a chain, and hence it doesn't need a reputation boost. However, I think it's important to point out when certain franchise locations excel! The place always appears clean, the bagels come nice and chewy, there is often a line of patrons, and just all around is a good place to visit in Chagrin! They also often have coupons and deals sent out int he area, which is a tasty incentive. read more

This place was fine until about a week ago. I received terrible customer service after not placing an order in advance. The woman behind the counter acted as though my failure to order in advance was a personal insult to her. I order bagels for my work and sometimes, I don't get enough advance notice to place an order beforehand. When I told her that, she still had major attitude. It was very unprofessional. read more

The bagels are good, the space is layed out horribly with lines out the door, because there's only room for about 5 people inside to order. Sundays are a nightmare, today there were 7 employees working, and at several times nobody taking orders for 5 min. at a time with not one employee at the order counter. The service is generally slow and sometimes glacially slow like today, I should have just walked out. And some of the employees are very friendly while others are just going thru the motions without a smile. I was going to complain privately to Einstein's but you can't without giving out your phone number. That's absolutely ridiculous in this day and age of unwanted phone calls to expect a customer to give away their privacy so YOU can know what's going on with your franchise. So here you go a bad review posted online for all to see. In the future I'll have to think twice about going back. read more
