    Brooklyn breakfast sandwich
    Sharaun F.

This place never misses! I tried the Brooklyn breakfast sandwich and my party also had the chocolate chip pancake with egg and bacon. The service was great! They were busy, but did a great job clearing tables. I love it here and can't wait to try something different next time. The menu changes so I like to try different things. I will always order the bacon, tho!

First Watch is generally a solid option for breakfast, but my visit to this location was disappointing. The wait was short to be seated, but we had to wait about 10 minutes for our waitress to come to our table. When she finally showed up, she brought a carafe of coffee, which would have been great if we had mugs to use. Sadly, our carafe was rendered useless because we never got mugs even though we asked. The food tasted fine and as expected (though my over medium egg was incredibly undercooked). We barely saw our waitress and she basically did the bare minimum. We saw that we were charged for coffee we never got to consume, but she never came back to our table so we couldn't address it with her. Thankfully, the woman seating people and cashing out checks took it off for us. The women's restroom was also in need of attention. Empty, broken toilet paper holders in the stalls which resulted in several rolls of toilet paper being strewn about the stalls. The paper towel dispenser on the wall was also empty and a roll of paper towels were placed on the counter near the sink, which meant the roll was wet too. I know good experiences can be had at this chain, but I won't be back to this location.

I want to love First Watch. There are so many things they do well, like the carafe of coffee and so many accoutrements at the table I don't have to ask for. The table service is regularly helpful and can answer menu questions and give recommendations. And, most of the time the food is good. What could be better: 1. Have outdoor seating setup. The outdoor seating at this location was out but not available, not enough severs, and it was a perfect morning to dine outdoors. 2. Don't burn the sweet potatoes in the million dollar hash. It makes them bitter. 3. Take payment at the table. We had to wait while a table of 4 paid separately and it took a long time. We didn't have a lot of time. 4. Serve half and half that's fresh instead of rip top disposables. It would be environmentally friendlier, tastier, and classier.

Mid, very underwhelming. I ordered my food to go and waited an extremely long time. My eggs were cooked wrong and had to be remade so that added even more time and my food was very oily? Not sure where the excess came from. I could've went without this meal honestly.

This First Watch has large windows and a nice layout. A large parking lot is in front. We had a group of seven. We chose the community table over the large booths with an added chair. The wait staff was attentive. The menu was large, and portions were nice. Pancakes were dinner plate size. The grits were good with butter or cheese. The omelets, eggs Benedict, and avocado toast came with home potatoes or wilted greens. Juice came in large glasses, and coffee was nice. Definitely a nice go-to spot for breakfast in Pinecrest. Afterward, shop or walk around the shopping area.

This is my second bad experience with this first watch. I am convinced that I will not be returning to this location. I ordered my food to good and of course my potatoes was burnt, the fruit preserve was not in my bag. The service was good but the food isn't on point like other locations.

We wanted a fresh breakfast and we were 100% satisfied. All of our food and drinks we so delicious. Unfortunately it definitely wasn't the fastest service but we went on a busy Saturday morning so we weren't expecting much. Staff was all very accommodating and friendly. We sat outside which made for plenty of people watching because it faces a parking lot of a large shopping center(which I recommend looking around). The inside was nicely decorated and most importantly clean. By far the best iced coffee I've had! We all tried something different and everything was great. Great sized portions and cost was great. We loved it so much we went back the next weekend to try more!

Nasty. Flavorless cold over priced. Dont waste your time or money on their breakfast.

Little bit of avocado on one side of the bread!

I always loved First Watch. It was my go-to-place at home and while traveling. However! It has changed. On one visit the avocado toast was toast with a small scoop of avocado. Other trips, I had to sent the potatoes because they were so salty they burned my mouth and my daughter's. Go to today, I ordered the elevated egg sandwich and asked that the bacon be replaced by an extra egg since it came with one egg and I am a vegetarian. First, I was not told there would be an additional $2.39 charge for the egg. Which cost more an egg or bacon? Four extra words. Then, I looked at the avocado on the sandwich. It was a tablespoon's worth on one side of the bread (see picture). I told the server, before I knew about the up-charge for the extra egg, and barely got, "sorry about that." Once again, some forkfuls of the potatoes were super salty. Folks can always add the amount of salt they want after they get their meal. Hypertension is real!!! These are symptoms of management/leadership/team members not caring. So sad, my go-to-place has become an only-at-last-resort-place. First Watch you can do so much better! To clarify, these last visits were all at this location, 400 Park Ave.

Stopped in for breakfast as we have First Watch at home. The food is consistent, eggs were cooked well and the avocado toast had a good amount of avocado on it. Service was a bit slow but still made it to my meeting on time.

This time, I brought my family along for lunch, and it did not disappoint! We took advantage of their happy hour specials, which included half-off pizzas, select appetizers, and drinks. We started with the Street Corn Nachos and added grilled chicken. They were absolutely incredible--easily some of the best nachos we've ever had. The flavors were perfectly balanced, and every bite was delicious. We also ordered the whipped feta, which was simply divine and a must-try. For our entrées, one person ordered the pepperoni pizza and really enjoyed it. I had the sausage pasta, which was fresh, flavorful, and surprisingly light while still being incredibly satisfying. The third entrée was the Thai noodles , and it was another hit. Everyone commented on how fresh and well-prepared their meal was. The service, as always, was impeccable. We were greeted immediately and seated right away. What really stands out about this restaurant is the teamwork. Everyone pitches in, whether it's bringing out food, clearing plates, or noticing your water glass is getting low. It doesn't matter if they're your server or not--they make sure you're taken care of, and that level of hospitality really makes a difference. The restaurant is also spotless, and I love that the open kitchen allows you to watch the team preparing the food. It adds to the overall experience and shows how much care goes into every dish. Whether you're stopping in for breakfast, lunch, dinner, or happy hour, this place consistently delivers. Great food, outstanding service, a welcoming atmosphere, and a beautiful space make this one of my favorite restaurants in the Cleveland area. If you're visiting the Pinecrest area, do yourself a favor and make this a stop--you won't regret it!

Since we were hungry, we followed another yelper's advice of getting an appetizer since we were warned the mains can take 30-40 minutes. Ordered the cracklin wings--got the ghost pepper dry rub which was recommended by the staff who also reassured me that it wasn't too spicy given that it was also sweet and came with ranch. Tasted great, super crispy on the outside, chicken not the most juicy but still tender. 4/5. Also ordered the truffle orcchiette, pork chop, and heirloom carrots. The truffle orcchiette had a great al dente texture but surprisingly compared to the other yelper reviews, was saltier than expected. 4/5 Favorites were definitely the pork chop and heirloom carrots. The pork chop came without the bone, already chopped up, and was the he most tender pork chop I've had. 5/5 The carrots were so well seasoned, with a great charred taste and came with an addicting puree. 5/5 Service was fantastic, with great recommendations. While the birthday guest was away from the table, I did sneakily ask if they do anything for birthdays, and the staff said that they do a scoop of ice cream. Since the sticky toffee pudding already came with a scoop of ice cream, they were considerate to do 2 cookies instead--the cookies weren't too sweet and reminded me of brownie batter. Sticky toffee pudding was good. 4/5 Restaurant is located in Pinecrest so parking available as free parking in a garage about a block away or as pay by mobile street parking. Ambience is great, perfect for a nice meal for a date or hangout. Overall a great place to celebrate a special occasion due to all the good food choices and staff who know how to treat birthday guests well.

So we told the lady at the desk that I spoke to the man that also at the door about reservations. She said no problem we waited about 10 minutes and we were seated. Our waitress Abby was amazing! I wanted a wellness drink and they were all out but she suggested other mocktail options. She then asked if we wanted tap water or sparkling bottle water. I was confused that they don't have filtered water. We got the tap and it smelled like sewer. We then asked for a bottle of sparkling water. And realized the glass cups smelled bad. If you want a wellness drink arrive early when they open around 11am. It was 1pm when I ordered my food. I ordered the Farmer's breakfast, it came with Two eggs any style, choice of crispy bacon or chicken sausage, grilled sourdough, potatoes. The potatoes were crumbs and left overs, a scoop of potatoes. For a $19 meal I couldn't believe what I was being served. The chicken sausage was amazing! The sourdough bread was grilled with no oil or butter. I asked for jelly thinking they would have compote. Instead they have mini jars of jelly. The main difference is that jam is a shelf-stable, fruit-puree preserve made with high amounts of sugar and added pectin. Compote is a chunkier, less sugary fruit sauce cooked quickly without pectin and meant to be eaten fresh. My husband had the Last Chicken Sandwich, which he said was good but the sandwich didn't come with a side just a $18 chicken sandwich that tasted wonderful.

It wasn't our first choice, but it ended up being a decent find--especially if you're in the mood for creative tacos. We ordered chips and salsa to start, but unfortunately they never made it to the table. When our food arrived and I asked about them, our waitress admitted she had forgotten to write it down. The food also seemed to take a bit longer than expected considering the restaurant wasn't busy. Because of that, the service was a little underwhelming. That said, the tacos themselves were the highlight of the visit. I ordered three of the smaller tacos, but they packed a lot of flavor. My picks were The Yoda, The Love Shack, and The Filthy Fajita--all creative and really well done. Small in size, but definitely big on flavor.
