The first time we went to First Watch was in FL and now we noticed they were in Ohio. A 3 hour drive for breakfast was worth it. Yes, we stayed 3 days in the area but had to make a stop here. Wasn't sure if they would have the same menu as FL, but they did. I have so many favorites I had to figure out what I wanted to eat. I ended up getting the avocado toast. It was so good with a side of eggs and the Million-Dollar Potatoes. Also, what I like on the menu is the lemon ricotta pancakes, and the million-dollar bacon. What was awesome was while we were finishing up eating I asked for another drink and they brought it in a plastic cup with a lid. I was able to take it with me instead of leaving it or chugging it. Seating area is big, larger than FL, and employees were awesome and worked well together. Glad I know I can take a ride for my favorite breakfast. read more

Fantastic! Came in on a Sunday morning at 10am. Was immediately seated. Faith took our order. Very friendly and quick. Ordered the Florida French Toast. Came with a sliced up kiwi, at least 1 banana, some not so seasonal strawberries, and warm blueberry compote on the side. Also got an order of the Million Dollar Bacon and 2 scrambled eggs. Everything was delicious! Don't really care for the dining room bench seating 5' away from strangers, but given the alternative of waiting, I'm happy to hear their plans for the day. It pains me to write this.. but this place has gone down hill so much in a year. We've been here a good dozen times since it opened and I've waited to review it (I'm pretty sure this place deserves closer to a 2 star.. but I rounded up). The service is bad, the food is inconsistent, my meal arrived cold and the whites of my eggs were runny (yuck) and my husbands burrito was steaming hot. Our waitress definitely snubbed us as soon as she heard we wanted water and walked away so fast I couldn't ask her for an order of donuts and million dollar bacon. As soon as this happened I knew we were in for terrible service and I was right. She ignored us and made no eye contact... we sat for ever for everything. And waited on 2 huge tables that sat down after us before even taking our order. This was the worst service we've ever had there. Do better First watch. read more

Came by on a weekday at 8, it wasn't very busy but apparently this wasn't normal. Food & drink quality was delicious! I liked the mint mocha & chick, both very tasty. Service was nice too. You can check the wait time and add your name to the list - this is especially useful for Saturday and Sunday mornings. You can also check the bar as there is quite a bit of seating there. We love sitting at the bar in the warm weather as it's located at the "open" side of the restaurant. The million dollar bacon is on point. It's large strips of bacon with pepper and maple sauce. It's a little pricey, but it is worth it - especially if you are a bacon connoisseur. I usually get the Trifecta (eggs, meat, and a waffle) or the Traditional (same as the Trifecta, but toast and potatoes in place of the waffle). The steel cut oatmeal is also a good option. The coffee is fresh and hot, BUT please bring back your variety of creamers! French vanilla and hazelnut are not my favorite. First Watch is my first choice in Medina for breakfast or brunch. read more

Absolutely fantastic. I took my son to breakfast, he had a waffle and coffee. I wasn't particularly hungry so I just ordered a side order biscuit and turkey gravy at it exceeded all my expectations. The gravy was delicious and savory and the biscuit, though covered in gravy, had a great, crispy texture. The first bite was a wonderful surprise. I absolutely love First Watch and am excited that there's finally one closer to home. We stopped by after visiting the alpaca farm. The parking lot was packed, but I was surprised to see there was no wait for a Saturday morning. I love the look and feel of the place with the farmhouse decor. We were out shopping, and never having been here before thought we'd give it a try. My husband was completely ignored except when asking his order. Like he didn't exist. I noticed other tables with only women present seemed to have better service than tables with men & women. Maybe I've become schitzo and just imagined I was with someone else. Hmmm. Honestly, there was little on the menu that appealed to me. The food (we both ordered omlets) was bland, uninteresting and lacking. It was early afternoon so there wern't many diners and the food arrived fairly quickly. There seemed to be about a 3:1 customer/server ratio so service was ok. I have been to this location a handful of times. Dining in has never disappointed, food and service has been excellent each time. In this case it's worth the money. Consistency in food quality is lacking. We order take out more often than dining in. I always get avocado toast and each time it gets worse. The bread has gotten smaller, there is an excess of avocado now, little to no sea salt or butter, eggs always runny and under cooked. Not to mention food is always 30 minutes past the estimated pick up time. When it comes to take out, for the price I'll be sticking to McDonald's breakfast. Was roped into coming here by a friend who I had offered to take to breakfast. BIG MISTAKE! The bill with tax and tip was $38. We both had eggs benedict and she had coffee. I had water. The NOISE was unbearable. (Think TGIF on a heavy drinking Friday night at Happy Hour). Nothing in the place absorbs noise. The hollandaise sauce was watery and rather tasteless, and not buttery or thick. It seemed to come out of a package rather than being homemade. The sides of "greens" were without dressing. I asked for dressing and she said, "its on there, but I'll get you more." I promise, it was not ON THERE. After a LONG wait she brought a little plastic thing of dressing. It was so vinegary it only made it worse. I left them. The bread was thin, not a real base as I'm accustomed to. I told both the waitress and the clerk at the desk, "I will never come here again. Its too noisy." They said, we get a lot of complaints about that but corporate doesn't listen. No kidding! Save your money, your time, your stomach and your ears. Go to any place else. We left 3/4 of breakfast on both plates. My skillet was way too salty and my husband's chickichanga was overspiced with no other taste. I explained why we do not need a box and got a lecture about how they cook and why it seems to be salty but not. I stopped her loud speech by saying that it was about the quality of food and not about pay or not to pay. She instantly lost her steam and delivered our check. No apology was offered, not from her or the boss, she spoke with. My husband left her a tip because he always does and I left this place with a lecture instead of breakfast. I have eaten here a couple of times coming to Medina. The food is fresh and better quality than most chains. Thus you will pay more for better and portion sizes are more single serving than large for take out. It gets pretty busy at lunch time , so business must be doing well. My first visit service was spot on. The second I could tell the server was running. It took longer to refill water and such. But it wasn't horrible. We will go back. read more

So I have been to the Crocker park location, and one other location, and the food was amazing! So I stop into this location excited to order the chickichanga and a Belgian waffle. The waffle was cold. The chickichanga is normally amazing but this one seemed...undercooked and the filling and sauce wasn't nearly as good as I remember! We are there for the first time. We have eaten at them in Florida and Columbus so the franchise is not new to us. It is nice to have one in Medina! I tried the tacos and they are delicious! Our first time trying out this restaurant and here's my review. The service was poor and the food was just ok. The staff was unorganized and sloppy. They brought the wrong food to our table, and partially dropped a plate of food on the table and the floor, nearly fell into my lap. Then took our food to the table behind ours leaving us to wait an additional 15 minutes for them to cook our order again. The food came out luke warm and slightly over cooked but edible. They were nice enough to comp our meals, but I don't think we're eager to go back any time soon. Not impressed. I read good reviews of other location and this one but that was not my experience. Mid week 11:45AM by myself... I sat at the counter. Not busy, tables 2/3 full if that. Facility is extremely noisy with concrete, glass and granite echoing everything. My 1st cup of coffee was cold. Had to ask for regular sugar. Food took 35 minutes to come out. Napkin not provided. Waited at least 5 minutes at cash register to pay with 3 more people behind me. Food was pretty good but a little on the high side. Tried this a few weeks ago for the first time in Medina. Remodeling from the old Ruby Tuesday's was nice even though we ended up sitting by the kitchen and they weren't that busy. Food was good a tad expensive my girlfriend got one blueberry pancake, an order of bacon and coffee for $17 which is ridiculous. I got the bacon and avocado omelette which was good but pretty small not too much avocado and bacon in it; the toast was good, the side greens were different but I did enjoy that and that was about 17.00 also. service was good but I think it's over price for what you get they did get very busy by the time we left about an hour later. Sorry too expensive for breakfast and amount of food. Don't expect huge amount but at least a responsible size. read more
