They offer cooking classes and even have a private event area that can be used for birthdays, work events, or small gatherings. Inside, the walls feature artwork from the local high school, which gives the place a fun community feel. It's a cozy space to sit and relax. For drinks, they have tons of milk options and syrup flavors, including several sugar free syrups. Food options were also impressive. They had baked goods plus a separate selection of prepackaged gluten free baked goods. There were also plenty of fresh food options, including sandwiches, some which are vegan friendly and gluten free bread available. I ordered the avocado toast on gluten free bread. Such a cute place! We got breakfast here twice. First time I got a sausage, egg, and cheese on a croissant and it was fine. Honestly it seemed like a fresh made Jimmy Dean breakfast sandwich. Hubby came down to walk the square and stopped in for a cup of Joe. I ordered a special called the fool. Which was a pumpkin chai, it was delicious! The flavors mingled well with each other. First time in and although I took my order to go, I had a great experience! The staff were friendly and service was quick even with it being pretty busy. I ordered the raspberry mocha latte which was exactly as I hoped it would be! Perfect level of sweetness and not over bearing, delicious. What a gem! First time in Medina and I'm so glad we found this place. It's not hidden by any means and plenty busy! I got the coffee flight! Wow what an idea, it was so good just look at the picture. I stopped in on a Saturday around 1pm and I was so disappointed by this place! The reviews I had read beforehand made it sound wonderful, and I was so excited about soup flights! However I left feeling disheartened. A definite dud. 3/4 soups were cold. The Italian wedding was so cold it was thick and slimy. My friend also got a soup flight but with different soups and had the same experience. She said they seemed slimy or extra oily? We got the grilled cheese panini to share with our soups and it was barely edible. The cheese was not melted, one half the sandwich barely had anything on it and the other half was soggy. I thought being a coffee shop that the coffee would maybe be the saving grace, but alas, not at all. Maybe I just ordered the wrong thing, but I have never had a worse iced coffee? It did not even taste like coffee and I ended up throwing the whole thing away. What a waste! The bathroom was incredibly dirty, the floor was all wet and slippery, and there were at least 5 flies in there. Just not a pleasant experience. While this place absolutely had potential, I was very disappointed and would not recommend it. There is a lot else in town, and other options should absolutely be explored before you come here! read more

I'll admit, I'm a Starbucks fan. Years ago, I would have hated my future self...but here we are! So finding a place that has coffee to rival my favorite iced latte is a win. I had to cut caffeine recently so also finding a decaf espresso was a perk. My parents live in the area so this spot being nearby is great. However, they have messed up my decaf order in the past (even after asking if they're 100% sure it's decaf l) and that has to knock a star for me otherwise they'd be a 5. Their peanut butter cookies are my favorite treat. Crunchy yet chewy-- the best kind. My daughter loves the sugar cookie and my sister is obsessed with their frozen coffees. Another small establishment a victim of federal pandemic economic policy and lockdowns. Good coffee. Out of sub bread. Flat bread was chalky. Minimal meat on sandwich. Pickle was good. Staff undertrained and or short term. After waiting 22 minutes for a sandwich I asked what was up. Unsurprisingly no one had a clue. Fortunately an electronic receipt saved my meal. Cool Beans is located in Medina's Public Square. If you've never been to Medina, the Public Square is a really cute area with many restaurants and shops. Stopped by this coffee shop after attending an art fair in the square. There were many choices of coffee beverages, and ice tea was also available. It was nice that we could sit inside for a while while we enjoyed our beverages. Near each table was a USB Power port near each table. Very useful! The iced coffee was very good, smooth and delicious. (I took the pic after drinking some of the iced coffee--the cup was very full.) My spouse enjoyed the iced tea. Drank the hot coffee later, and it was very good. We split the cookie, as they are very large, Enjoyed the taste of the cookie, but would have liked it better if there were more chocolate chips in it. Honestly, their coffee is excellent. Today was probably my third or fourth time here and the coffee has always been great. However, one of the baristas was kind of rude to me today. To put it in perspective I've worked at a coffee shop for a while, and I understand that customers order the wrong thing and then say that their drinks messed up when they really didn't order it that way. However, I ordered my drink correctly and I think the girl at the register was newer and wrote it down wrong on the so that when they made it, they made the incorrect drink that she wrote down. When I told the other barista, she acted like it was an inconvenience to her and really wasn't too kind. she told me that what was is I'm there is what is written on the side (ya, obviously) and when I said that's not what I ordered she turned around and muttered something under her breath to the girl on the machine. It is unfortunate because the coffee is great, but I hate having bad experiences when people just expect that the customer is dumb and doesn't know what they ordered. Maybe it was a one time thing or she was having a bad day as they were pretty busy but I hope that's not the case if I go again. read more

This is kind of cool. Cool Beans Cafe has good coffee mostly. You can get all kinds of flavors you wouldn't expect in a place like this. Atmosphere is chill. It has some things other than coffee and tea. Coffee flavors abound. It has so many packed into this small cafe. The last time here I had the drip coffee, which was one of the choices at the time. Check in to get a free coffee. They also have some pastries and sandwiches. Not a lot is vegetarian here. The pastries are about $3 each for most of these. It has lots of outlets like any good coffeehouse. It's not a great place but it's one of the best there is in Medina. The other choices for coffee are fast food and gas stations. read more
