Cute little coffee shop with cookies, teas, and local business goodies too! I appreciated the layout of the space, given that it's on the smaller side. They utilized the window area for barstool seating and had a few tables out in the lobby area of the building, as well. My friend that accompanied me isn't much of a coffee drinker, but the barista was able to customize an iced latte for her with white chocolate and raspberry that she loved. I went with the signature honey bee latte and it was the perfect level of sweetness and temperature to bring some warmth back into me on a freezing cold day. I thought the prices were a little high, but easily justified by the quality and presentation. Our barista was friendly and worked as quickly as she could, considering she was by herself behind the counter during an afternoon rush. read more

Honeybee is a cute little bakery and coffee shop on the square. They have a lot of interesting flavors. I had a Cinnamon Poptart bar, which lasted several days and the filling was very reminiscent of a cinnamon pop tart! The prices were really fair - it was $5 for my treat and a little packet of dog treats for Madame. They also had some fun macarons and some parfaits, like a key lime cake parfait. read more

This is a super cute cafe! They have a pretty nice variety of treats and beverages, and even have vegan and gluten free options! Everyone here is super friendly and welcoming, and very willing to answer questions. I ordered a Vegan Browie, an Oreo Macaroon, a Cookie Dough Macaroon, a Coconut Cakepop, and a Chocolate Chip Cheesecake Bar. They were all absolutely delicious! I most definitely recommend this sweet little place to anyone read more

It was hard to get someone's attention to get some service. Asked for prices for a cookie order, but they were too expensive compared to other bakeries in the area. Ordered a brownie and it was not good at all. I think this place does well on gluten-free and vegan options, but not so good on other options. read more

A yummy and simple bakery. I love that they offer classics like bars and cookies with a few fun options thrown in. Everything we tried from here was delicious but if you're a cookie fan, the chocolate chip cookie cheesecake bar was phenomenal. It has got to be about 5 inches thick with a sweet cream cheese middle. I wish I got a stack of those to bring back to CT to store in my freezer. I'll have to tell my family to grab some before they visit this summer. Yum! read more

Bakeries aren't usually vegan friendly. Honey Bee Bakery has a few vegan items. In places like Medina you don't expect something like this. Custom orders can be made for cakes. They have coffee to go along with a pastry. It has some good items for a small bakery. Look at the display case. This is packed with all kinds of baguettes, cookies, and muffins. It's one of the good places around here for breakfast. They also have a great special. Check in for a free coffee. This goes good with a sweet breakfast treat. I really like the vegan blueberry muffin. It's about $2 for a small muffin. They also sell discounted old pastries. It just has a strange location, not in its own building. This is located in the lobby of an old building so people who work in this building like to come here. Everything so far has been good. Prices are okay for an independent bakery. You need to remember to check in. read more

I am a person that has an ESA, in training, the Honey Bee is very dog friendly. They know my dog by name and are so welcoming. Now, my dog knows the place by name and gets excited to see the girls. They give him pup cups. I get a random latte, as I love to switch it up. The baked goods are fantastic, and they even have vegan options, not to my liking but good to know for those that are vegan. The Honey Bee is definitely a place to stop if you are downtown Medina and need a pick me up and a quick and divine bite. Don't miss out read more

I drove 45 minutes to try this place. Sadly, they closed early without even so much as a note. (We checked the hours sign and it still says 6p closure on Saturdays.). Driving 45 minutes home now with no cookies. About as bad an experience as we could've had. read more

I was a huge supporter of Honey Bakery but in the last year things have changed. Cookies used to be a work of art. Now not so much. Very disappointed in quality of cake too. I bought lemon cupcakes on a Sunday and they were stale. Sadly, I saw that the same cupcakes were shown on Facebook on Tuesday as day old. There comes a time when the manager needs to say toss them. I'll go to one of the other bakeries going forward. read more

There are two things that stand out to me at Honey Bee Bakery: The vegan variety and the bread. The vegan pastries range from scones to cupcakes to cookies. Both the scones and cupcakes were flavorful and not the least bit dry while the cookies were chewy which is my personal preference. For bread they make bread in house fresh each day. I love the baguette and the rustic loaves. Both had great air pockets and a nice crunch on the outside. I've brought family here for the desserts and we never left disappointed. Even if you're not vegan, the pastries are some of my favorite that you can find in Medina. If you're looking for bread or pastries and are in Medina, definitely make the trip here to check it out. read more

In the act of full disclosure, I'll admit that the owner of Honey Bee Bakery is a longtime friend of mine. I say this to note that I am being as honest and unbiased as possible in sharing this review. To be fair, it might be difficult to find folks in Medina who don't know Keni, the owner. She is a veritable treasure to the city of Medina, and her bakery venture adds so much charm and value to the historic town square. All that aside, this bakery is absolute genius at making customized orders. I can't think of anything they wouldn't be able to do. You want a Star Wars cake in the shape of a light saber? Sure. You think a vegan red velvet would rock your birthday party? Done. You just want a cute honey bee hive cookie to make your day? Of course! If want Pinterest level baked goods, this is the place to find it. I decided to order some sugar cookies for a friend's bachelorette party. I simply mentioned the words Jane Austen, and Honey Bee whipped up the most beautiful and personally crafted cookies I've ever seen. Not only did the cookies impress everyone at the party with the hand written icing script and gorgeous color scheme, but everyone loved how soft the cookies were. They were the perfect balance of icing and cookie. Of course the bakery itself is full of it's own charm as well; there's some lovely seating options right by the window, and the bakery is accented with thrifted and antique materials, giving it a custom feel among the Victorian same-ness on Medina square. I would highly recommend trying out ordering something from this bakery for your next event... you're sure to impress others and you'll love how tasty the results are! read more

This place is the bee's knees! I'm a bee and honey fan, so I think the decor is adorable. I stopped in this afternoon and ordered the Milk & Honey (espresso, milk, and honey) and sipped it while sitting in a rocking chair near the window. The honey was just enough to sweeten the espresso without being too sweet or overpowering the taste of the espresso. I would order it again. The bakery was staffed by three women and they were all friendly. The bakery case has an assortment of treats from sugar cookies to kolachy to macarons to biscotti and much more. This would be a great place to meet a friend and sit for a chat or grab a drink and a snack before walking around the square. I did wish that the drinks and treats had listed prices (maybe I just missed a sign?), but that would be my only suggestion at this point! read more

I heard about this place and how they have a great selection of vegan pastry items on Wednesdays. I came at about 1pm, they were a little low on vegan items however I had a vegan chocolate cupcake and it was PERFECT!!! I also had a soy macchiato, the woman behind the counter was so friendly and patient with me, since this was my first time. They have a cozy seating area where you can watch the cars and clouds go by for hours. I cannot believe that I haven't been here sooner! I will definitely be back!! read more

Honey Bee Bakery is by far my absolute favorite place in Medina to grab a cup of tea or coffee and sit to enjoy delicious baked goods made from scratch! The owner, Keni, is super friendly and strives to make each and every one of her customers have the best coffee experience possible. The set up of the shop is very laid back, inside a multi-local business building with an excellent view of the Medina Square. The staff are friendly and everything tastes delicious! read more

I didn't know about this place- but glad I stumbled on it when walking the square! All the bakery looked "bee"utiful, but my family and tried the macaroons- my favorite!!! They were just how a macaroon should be with the combination of crunchy and chewy! It was nice to see they had things labeled gluten free. My sister had hot chocolate and she said it was really good. horrible business now that it has a new owner, I had them make a army cake for my girlfriends Bday which came out great however, unbeknownst by us this cake was made by the old owner. So without knowing this my girlfriend tried to return the favor and have them make my Bday cake which at the time i was a tito's fan so she asked it they could make a bottle shaped tito's cake, she even showed them and example and they said no problem. Well it turned out to be a disaster, the cake they presented us looked nothing like what we wanted which sent my girlfriend home crying. in the bakeries defense they did come the next day or so and give us a cake to try and make things right, but the occasion was over and no one was in a cake mood and the bday had passed. So thinking that this was a one off I decided to give this bakery another chance and this time i wanted to make sure the could give us the exact cake they wanted. I called and they said send an email of the example and I did. Shortly after that I went up to the bakery to physically speak to someone and filled out a cake request. I got no response via email nor did anyone try and contact me for the cake request that I filled out. Bottom line this bakery is ran poorly and does not care about customer retention. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME you will be far better going else where. read more

I wasted almost $100 and I'm seriously considering stopping the payment on the credit card. I ordered three pies and cookies that are supposed to serve 20 to 25.the cookies were $50 and they were only 25 cookies! I guess most people only eat one cookie. The two apple pies were not baked and there were no instructions on how to finish cooking them. We were shocked and terribly disappointed. read more

A little coffee shop with delicious drinks and tasty bakery! I had the caramello mocha which was the perfect sweetness alongside a cinnamon roll. Yum! My mother got the signature honey latte. Have ordered cookies many times. They used to be large and seemed like a homemade recipe. They were delicious. Real cinnamon sugar sprinkled on top of the snickerdoodle ones. They have obviously changed the recipe as the ones I just received were small and tasted like store bought dough that was thrown in the oven. I could've done that. Will not return. read more
