I ordered a birthday cake for my sisters 50th...Bakery 57 went above and beyond not only with the decoration, but the cake itself was absolutely delicious. They did a half sheet cake, half vanilla and half chocolate so that everybody would be happy! My sister actually cried when we brought the cake out to her because it's obviously her dog in the center of the cake and she just loved it so much! We were thrilled with it...It absolutely came out so beautiful and perfect for her 50th birthday! I won't go anywhere else for anything. I really love supporting small businesses and bakeries so I was really excited to give this one a try when I was craving some donuts. The donuts are really big, and they are pretty good when looking to satisfy a craving. I wouldn't say they are near the best donuts I've ever had and I think the glazed was definitely the best! But good regardless. I was on the hunt for a pumpkin muffin with cream cheese frosting and I was so excited to see that they had one here which is what led me here. I was a bit disappointed because although the muffin was delicious, although it said cream cheese icing it didn't really have a cream cheese taste it moreso just tasted like frosting so I was a bit sad but a yummy muffin! Lots of options and different things to try and fairly priced. Nice cute bakery shop and if looking to support small and local I would for sure stop in! If I am near it again, I may stop in. I may not drive out of my way for the donuts but if I have a hankering it's nice to know there is a spot! read more

We were excited to try this local bakery. My cannoli tasted and smelled like one of the ingredients had gone bad. I had to throw it away. We ordered refresher drink that tasted like plain water, even though it should've been mixed with lemonade. My daughters said their donuts were fine but not good enough to return. read more

Small bakery with many choices. I bought a variety of items for sampling. The donuts looked great, so I bought a choice cream and a carrot cake. Reports gave them excellent reviews. The Italian bread was soft inside and chewy outside. My favorite was the pepperoni bread - plenty of pepperoni and just the right amount of cheese. The "car ride home item" (everyone else does such a thing, right?) was a salt bagel stick. Really good. Friendly staff and even a day old rack. I'll be back. read more

A family member sent me a cassata cake from Bakery 57 via Doordash. The cake was beautiful and tasted even better. I will definitely be coming in to try some of their other baked goods. read more

I stopped to pick up a cake today. I walked in and no one was around, so I browsed for a bit and then said "hello?" I waited a few minutes and said "Hello?" again. A young man finally came out with an attitude saying "I was washing my hands!!!" Like I was suppose to know he was back there washing his hands. Wow! He plopped the cake on the counter and didn't even open the lid so I could check it out. I haven't tried the cake, but it looks good, but unless it is extraordinary, I will not be back there. Tried placing an order for a simple two tier wedding cake with them. We dropped off pictures and called them for over a month and never got a response other than "the owner leaves at 8 AM." I love supporting this small business. I haven't had anything that was sub par. The bagel twists might be my favorite, though. My boyfriend says they have some of the best sweet tea he's ever had! I love the iced coffee. The muffins are giant and the flavors are outstanding! Get there earlier in the day for the largest selection. Trying the cupcakes today. Online I saw that they could do a cake with sunflowers, but there was no picture. I stopped in to find out if I could see an example of the design. I was first told you can look in that book over there. There were no cakes with sunflowers and the pictures were not of cakes made in the store. The person who told me to look in the book then said "let me ask him". She came back and said he can do a round cake and put 3 sunflowers on it. I said that I would be ordering a sheet cake for a wedding shower. She said let me have him come out and talk to you. She returned saying he is busy, but can draw the sunflowers on any cake. I am not comfortable ordering a special cake and not having any idea of what it will look like. On a positive note, I did buy a few cookies and a carrot loaf. They are both very tasty. read more
