Stopped in for the first time and had the sweetest lady Ava serve me! She was super friendly and helped with any questions I had. I got an iced chai and two crepes, one strawberry Nutella, one bacon egg & cheese. Portions were fantastic and flavorful. The front has a little area for kids were several moms and kiddos were and the back area is more coffee table typically coffee shop study / work space. Amazing coffee shop! This has to be one of the nicest ones in Medina. It ticks many of the coffee shop must haves when it comes to the vibe. They even have a children's play area and 2 private rooms to rent for a very reasonable price if you need a quiet meeting space. For the coffee they have a new flavor every month which is a great way to keep people coming back to experience new flavors. The service was very friendly and polite. It's always a joy seeing happy people work at coffee shops which can be hard to find sometimes. I got a hot flavor of the month latte (I can't remember which one it was at the time of writing this) and my wife got the iced version with the lemon cold foam. I love the presentation for both! The flavor of the month was good but the only concern is the flavor is the coffee itself which was basically non existent. As a latte enthusiast I love a good espresso flavor balanced with the flavored syrup, so the issue is either the roast they have is too light for an espresso, the grind is too coarse and not fine enough when extracted or they are not adding enough grounds or pulling enough espresso into the cup. If they work on their espresso flavor this place would be top of my list for coffee shops in the region. I'm looking forward to trying their crepes next time we visit when we're in the area. I'm so glad there's a very nice option for coffee in Medina and when/if they ever figure out their espresso flavor it will make this place one of the best around! read more

Really cute shop, with interesting coffee, and nice unhurried ambiance - the only part that is rough is finding a parking place! I did not order any crepes so I don't know what they are like, but I ordered a smashed croissant which was delicious, and saw many other people order crepes. A friend ordered a mocha, and her daughter in law thought it was not sweet enough so your opinion may vary. read more

Coffee and food delicious. However, they allow dogs into their restaurant area where they have an open kitchen and make your coffee. When I brought this to the attention of management, they dismissed it and in fact then petted the dog. Health code violation and gross. read more

OMG if you are in Medina or even just passing by, you absolutely need to stop by The Grind coffee shop. It's a 10/10 in all aspects, and I'm a harsh critic when it comes to coffee shops. The environment is furnished with high end designs that feel elevated but still cozy. They have awesome mood lighting and it's a great atmosphere for studying, working, or chit chatting with a friend. It's decently quiet but not quiet to the point where you feel bad having a conversation. They carry top notch coffee from The Roosevelt Roasters in Columbus Ohio, which is a company that gives back to the community in a big way and it's super high quality coffee. They also use other high quality products like Hartlzer milk. The staff was all welcoming and friendly and able to answer all questions we had! I got the crème brûlée latte and they gave me awesome latte art and THEN put sugar on top and bruleed it!!! It was delicious. I highly recommend stopping here, this is the best coffee shop in Medina BY FAR. read more

What cute place! The inside is much larger than I expected with cozy places to work or study. My drink looked and tasted good. Hard to find parking because it was busy, but if you want a coffee done right it's the best place around the square. read more

Drink was not made how I asked (or even close.. shaken espresso SPLASH of cream instead of the milk is what I ordered, got a shaken espresso splash of cream PLUS all the milk. I cannot do that much dairy. Tasted like drinking a coffee creamer straight up. Took two small sips and asked them to make me another (after having thrown it out) to which they refused unless I were to purchase another. Will not be back. Capitalism, eh. read more

The Grind, located right off the square in Medina, carries the essence of the small-town coffee shop, fit with premium bakery items and tasty coffee. Being back from college, I found myself searching for the perfect place to bury my bead into my work or a good book, and possibly engage in interesting conversations; The Grind was the answer I found. My drinks are always made well and fast, and while I don't love them, the crepes are truly delicious. The Grinds only weakness is the lack of bakery diversity, offering only croissants and crepes, which should not be a deal breaker. The area consists of several high tops, non-cushioned booths, two green sofas,--which are perfect for lounging--a kids area, and two quiet study rooms which I've heard can be rented for a reasonable price. The Grind is a great place if you just want to unwind and enjoy the beginnings of your long day under the comfort of a quiet roof. read more

Best cortado I've ever had! I work right around the corner and I've been coming in to get these at least twice a week. Baristas are super friendly.
