The vibe is cozy, bright, and perfect for a relaxed breakfast or coffee date. Everything felt fresh and thoughtfully made. Drinks were a highlight: the chai latte was one of the best we've had--perfectly spiced and perfectly sweet. The iced matcha green tea latte was smooth, earthy, and super refreshing. For food, we tried a mix: * Breakfast burrito - great balance of herbs and fillings, and they even customized it for us with turkey breast * Lemon curd crepes - a standout; light, delicate, and perfectly balanced between sweet and tangy * Steel cut oats - creamy and comforting, topped with berries and honey They also have a great selection of freshly baked goods, including vegan options and seasonal cookies and cupcakes, which makes it hard not to grab something to go. I stopped into Luna this morning as I do every Sunday morning as a treat and I usually order their matcha latte which is wonderful. However, this morning I noticed they had new holiday drinks available and decided to try the Banana Bread Matcha Latte. I did read the ingredients listed below and didn't see any nuts listed. I am allergic to some nuts and pistachio is the worst for me. I got this weird feeling in the back of my throat when driving away and decided to call them to ask if the drink has pistachio in it which they hesitated and then said yes. I did drink a bit of it and thankful I am not having a huge reaction to it as the syrup must not have much actual pistachio in it but my throat is itchy and a bit swollen. I truly don't think pistachio or any nut related syrup was mentioned under the description of that drink because I would've avoided it. $6 was wasted on a drink that I can't even drink. I really wish this was listed on the description as someone with a nut allergy. Be careful when ordering if you have any allergies! read more

Got one of their deserts for Valentine's Day. It was awesome as always. Service was excellent and couldn't ask for a better experience.

The pastries at this spot are insane! So many different options to choose from. The breakfast burrito as well is so excellent and contains healthy ingredients. They've really amped up the food selection here as well as the coffee choices. Everyone is young adult and hipster and sweet and it definitely has a sit down and work on your work vibe that's enjoyable. It is a cute little place but a lot of things kind of irked me about my experience. Bakery is literally in their name but that part was lacking. BF and I came here around 11:45am/12:20pm time on a Friday hoping to experience a fully stocked menu. Seems like they make a total of 5 croissants and other pastries and are done for the day! There were 4 different types of croissants and every single one of them were sold out before lunchtime. Seriously? So I had to pivot and get the bread pudding they were promoting. It was good but I didn't like the flavor combination of lavender with raspberry. The lavender made it too medicinal tasting/smelling and it didn't mix well with the tart raspberry. It was very expensive too. All items had high prices and small portions. It's self service but we tipped because the system asks for it and then charge a 3% credit card fee. BF got coffee, a savory baked good, a macaron and another dessert thing. After paying, they never gave us our macaron and I had to ask about 15 min later when I finally remembered and then they asked to see the receipt...good thing I asked for a receipt! Yeesh! Places like these have annoying hours where they pick a random day to close (Monday) and run out of the popular bakery items at 10am or before and close at 3pm. This means this visit would be my last visit with my very regular work schedule. Here's a novel idea! What if you opened later, made more pastries and closed later? Then the 9-5'ers can sample your food! Asian bakeries always do like a 10am - 9pm or 9am - 8pm schedule. Other bakeries, take note!!! Just a suggestion for the management, if you're short staffed or extremely busy, maybe suspend take out orders? Came here while I was visiting my friend in Ohio and her husband brought us some of the most delicious croissants and pastries from this bakery. He went as soon as they opened at 8am on a saturday. The place itself is a fast casual establishment serving some breakfast/brunch/lunch fare. The staff are friendly and I got lost in the display case of baked goods. I picked several things for the 3 hour drive home and would easily be giving them lots of my money if I lived closer. I will say that I like their baked good offerings more than some of the menu items. The avocado toast is definitely wimpy and nothing to phone home about. We got there around 11:30? 12? On a Sunday and all of the croissants we had tried that I was looking forward to getting more of were all gone already. Wah wah. I wish they would make more. It is usually pretty busy and the line can be long but they move as quickly as I could expect for a smaller cafe. It is also a nice and clean shop. While the bakery goods on a take out basis exceed expectations, the food and pricing for food (particularly after all of their add on charges) are ridiculous. I just spent $67 for breakfast for 2. I had a (cold) ham and cheese crepe, a cup of (sour) coffee and a fantastic almond croissant. my wife had open face toast with salmon and two slices of tomato, a dish of old cut fruit (I would have trashed if found in my fridge) and a fantastic coffee cake muffin. we tipped the minimum 18% tip option at checkout for table service which means they drop your food on the table, don't refill coffee, and expect you to buss your own table. and to add insult adds 3% to use a credit card. read more

this was one of the best burritos i've had in cleveland. everything was very fresh and the crisp on the tortilla was fantastic! the choco chip banana bread was very moist and fluffy! it wasn't as dense as i thought it would be which is something i liked. my matcha was very good. i should've added some sugar or something but they did a great job of mixing everything so there were no chunks of powder in my drink. overall the staff was polite and the atmosphere was very quiet for a weekday morning. there's a part of the shop where you can see the kitchen operations. the two men who were in there waved to me and brought out my food with a smile. i work just down the street and this will definitely be a regular stop for me! 10/10 read more

I'm so glad this café has opened a shop in this little corner! There is ample parking and ample space on the inside to sit and enjoy a light meal or a sweet treat. Or both! That's exactly what I did with my friend. We each had a crêpe, savory for her and sweet for me. Sometimes places make their crapes very thin or... Ahead of time, eeek! Not here from what I can tell. The chicken crêpe was nicely filled, they definitely don't skip. My lemon curd was a great balance of sweet and tart. The corn chowder soup tasted good, it was a bit thin though. I usually expect my chowders to be pretty thick. The Luna Cake is not so much of a cake as a mousse/brownie/berry compote thing. It was good! The only thing I did not really like was my iced sugar cookie. While super cute, I just did not really like the taste. But, maybe that is a personal problem. I don't usually eat sugar cookies, I just wanted it because it was so cuteeeee. Anyways, I think this place is definitely worth it. I am new to the area and have heard good things about Luna's so I had to check it out when I moved here. While I've been to Luna's a few times in the last week I've been here and I've had had a problem, I ordered a GF crepe last Wednesday for lunch. I got completely cross contamination even though I specified the severity. And unfortunately it made me sick for days. I like the other Luna location in Cleveland Heights and was very excited to see them open on this side of town. The fact is, they are still getting their sea legs. I loved the interior here! They have an abundance of seating (you'll never fight for a table) with cute, colorful chairs and fun paper lanterns. There's tons of open space with plenty of natural light and cute succulents sitting on some tables. The bummer was when I ordered a coffee and it was served to me cold. On a chilly day, I had intentionally wanted a warm drink. They seemed frustrated I asked them to make it hot and I felt super awkward. The staff didn't know what to do. We also ordered a few breakfast pastries, which were fine. I didn't get much of an impression. I'll be back soon to give 'em another shot. I stopped at Luna for a quick lunch to go this afternoon. It is new to the neighborhood and was pretty hopping for a Thursday afternoon. There was 3 cashiers and numerous food runners. While waiting for my pickup, a foodrunner did notice I was waiting patiently and kindly checked on my order for me. I ordered a Turkey Panini and a Spinach Salad with Chicken Breast added on. The Turkey Panini is turkey breast, cheddar, spinach, and chipotle avocado mayo. You can get it on either multigrain or siciliano bread. I selected siciliano bread. You get either chips or quinoa as a side and I chose crunchy chips. The Turkey Panini was disappointing with only two lunch-meat slices of turkey breast for a pressed sandwich that was $10. The Spinach Salad is spinach lettuce, goat cheese, green apple slices, carmelized walnuts, dried cranberries, and lemon olive oil vinaigrette for $9. The Lemon Olive Oil Vinaigrette was very refreshing and light. Unfortunately, my Spinach Salad did not have the $3 chicken breast on top. The real showstoppers are the bakery items featured in the two bakery cases and counters. I recommend the scones or cookies! read more
