With breakfast being my favorite meal, I can't believe I'm just now trying Scramblers. I came in on a Sunday morning at about 11:30 am. They weren't too busy and everyone was getting taken care of quickly. I forget her name, but our server was very kind and got us drinks right away. They have mimosas for 3.49! I was expecting them to be small and all juice. They were not. It was a pretty significant pour and you could definitely taste the champagne. The coffee was also piping hot. I got The Goat Scrambler and it was delicious! This had potatoes, tomatoes and chives, goat cheese and a delicious gochjuang sauce, topped with two perfectly cooked scrambled eggs. I've never thought of these two flavors going well together, but it was incredible! The sauce was perfect for the potatoes! I was also able to sub my toast for a pancake for just 1 dollar. I chose the cinnamon roll pancake, which was just okay. Scramblers may just be high in my rotation of breakfast spots. It was affordable, fast and delicious! Can't wait to go back! read more

I've been to this location about 3 times. Scramblers has became one of my top 3 fav breakfast spots in the area. Eggs are always cooked PERFECTLY. Love their menu as well. You can order something traditional or order a fun breakfast item, either way, I think disappointment will be low. read more

My Hubby and I went here for the first time on 5/1. Most definitely will be back!! The service was amazing!! Morgan was our server & she was so sweet and kind!! Morgan's recommendations were definitely great choices!! She deserves a 5+ star on her own. The food was absolutely delicious!! We tried lots of choices & yes there was a lot of to go boxes. Went here for breakfast in the early AM. Single digit temperature outside and it was freezing in the restaurant as the doors in the back were open. My friend and I went to breakfast at this Scramblers location on a Sunday morning. We were greeted and seated right as we walked in. Our waitress was really great- very helpful and friendly. I ordered the eggs Benedict with a side of potatoes and a chocolate chip pancake. My friend ordered the breakfast tacos with a side a fruit and French toast. Our food came out quickly and everything tasted so good. Side note: The pancake was as big as a dinner plate, so come hungry. lol this is great little diner to stop in when you want a classic breakfast. I'll be back the next time I come to Cleveland. Another thing that I thought was really cool is that by the doors, they have a coffee set up with small cups, coffee, and creamer. I'm guessing it's for while you wait, or on your way out. A good friend, and I went to Scrambler Marie's this past Sunday for breakfast. I had not been at this location in over a decade for breakfast. It brought back great memories to have breakfast there. My friend had the eggs and crab cakes with grits, and I had the western omelette with grits. Both with coffees. They were excellent choices. The menu is very diverse and has lots of offerings. That's what I love about Scrambler Marie's! We were sat at a nice table in the corner. It was crowded at 10 AM. Not much had changed in the restaurant, in terms of the layout or decor. Our waitress was OK in taking our order and bringing out the food. It did however, take her forever to cash us out. Even the table next to us was laughing about it. They sat down right after she gave us our check and finished their breakfast by the time she took our credit card to close the bill. I kid you not. The food served was excellent. Nice portions that filled us up. I saw the gentleman at the table next to us had ordered the French toast and he had a massive portion. I may try that the next time! LOL! Good Morning Toastmasters has found Jim Birch, who opens at 6:30am on the dot, to be more than accommodating. Once he knew how we wanted the room set up he makes sure it's that way. He now knows what each of us likes as a beverage and immediately brings it. We are creatures of habit and he knows what we like to order as well. I can't say enough positives about the quality of the food - found out another Jim is the morning cook - also perfect. The choice of music in the morning is great too even though we have to turn it off in our room which we are able to do. read more

My first impression of Scramblers is that it's a very cozy and inviting place to eat. The decor is light and fun. I did notice right away after being seated that the customers started to pile up quickly by the front entryway. You could just watch their faces turn sour after waiting 5 or more minutes without even be acknowledged. They could have really used a host at the front of the house. They looked severely understaffed. Luckily, our waitress Ashley was awesome. I'd even ask to sit in her section if I go back there. She took outstanding care of us despite the fact that there didn't seem to be a lot of hustle happening in the kitchen. Granted they did have 2 large parties of over 10 and it's the holidays. But still, we waited a solid 23 minutes for our food. Yes, I timed it. I was hangry and about ready to leave. I ordered the breakfast sandwich with the number in the name...the 419 or something. It was a fluffy pile of scrambled eggs topped with melted cheese, bacon and hot sauce on a brioche bun, with a side of hashbrowns. The sandwich was awesome, hashbrowns were more like hadbrowns. They were cold. The malted waffle was great with the all you can eat option built in. We ate 2 and ordered an extra to go. My hubby ordered the steak and eggs with hashbrowns. No complaints there. Delicious! Great food at a decent price! Their pancakes are sooo good! I can't resist each time we go. We took our 2 year old there for the first time and got him the child's pancake. It was bigger than his head and they even decorated a smiley face on it with whipped butter, a strawberry nose, and a bacon smile. Very nice touch and he loved it!! They do not have plastic child's cups so I would recommend bringing your own if you have little ones. As for adult fare... I drove past Scramblers twice a day for a year before deciding to stop in for breakfast with some guests from out of town, and we all raved about it. The menu is diverse, the food is delicious and the service was on point. Plus, they are based out of Toledo, so come support them instead of your Bob Evans' and IHObs', trust me Scramblers is better! The menu has all the breakfast classics you would expect; bacon and eggs, omelettes, and the usual griddle suspects; pancakes, french toast and waffles. What sets them apart is their dietary restriction options, which include gluten free, vegetarian and vegan choices, along with great healthy alternatives such as quinoa and oatmeal, but I am here for the breakfast sandwiches, specifically 'the 419' and 'the field of dreams', both come with your choice of a side and are under $8. You can't beat that. The 419 comes with smoked bacon, scrambled eggs, and a blend of cheddar cheese and Monterrey jack with Sriracha sauce on a grilled brioche roll. This is the bacon, egg and cheese sandwich you wish McDonald's served you. The Field of Dreams comes with spinach, tomato and mushroom mixed with scrambled eggs and a blend of Monterey Jack and Cheddar cheeses. Served on thick wheat toast with sun-dried aioli. I added onion and jalapenos. It was like a 4 egg omelet of greeny, cheesy deliciousness, but in sandwich form. I don't like the hot water dispenser they have because its unsecured​ top caused hot water to overfill my mug. I remember Scramblers as having good food? I guess things change! Maybe just a bad cook and inattentive manager? Western omelette was very dry, edges were brown almost burned. I ate most of it. Potatoes were very dry and chewy, not at all what I expect from breakfast potatoes. I ate less than half of them. I specifically asked for "butter" a dairy product not margarine on the side for my English muffin. I received whipped margarine! The only good there, was the staff. Went for a late breakfast on Sunday at about noon and we only had about a 5-minute wait. The place was pretty full, but it's larger inside than it looks from the outside so it didn't seem crowded at all. They also have an outside patio area where there were several families eating. It was clean and I didn't get that "sticky-icky" feeling at the table...you know what I mean, maybe the table wasn't cleaned properly, or there's syrup on the seat, etc. Not at this joint. One of their unique menu items is the "bottomless" pancakes. I could never eat more than 2 or 3, so I wasn't going there, but if you love pancakes, this is the place for you. They are huge...at least the size the plates they're served on. All of a sudden we heard bells ringing and the sound of singing growing closer and closer when we realized that it was our servers bringing out our food. Apparently, one of our orders ended up on a blue plate which translates into a free meal! That was definitely a welcomed surprise. So, you never know, if you get lucky and your meal is on a blue plate....it'll be F-R-E-E. My wife and I both ordered the Classic breakfast: eggs, 2 huge pancakes, sausage (my wife said they were the size of brats; she got bacon) and hash browns. We ordered my 3-year old the smiley face pancake. It's 1 pancake with bacon for a mouth, whipped cream for eyes and a strawberry nose. I also had coffee which I found to be nice and strong; strangely not usually the case at breakfast joints. Everything was great, but the hash browns were just ok. The pancakes were nice and fluffy, soaked up the syrup nicely and were just great overall. Maybe next time I'll try the banana ones or the ones with fresh strawberries and blueberries. The kicker is that I did not finish my entire meal.....I usually finish everything, but there was just so much food. With the free meal, the bill came to $14. If the one meal was not free it would have been about $22. Not too bad. We'll be back to try something else. read more

I have always enjoyed the food and service here. I love the avocado omelet with the sour cream. Our most recent visit we were served by the manager who took great care of us. Friendly, attentive, little to no wait, gave us a pot of coffee and pitcher of water (which is unheard of nowadays), told us about add on options like onions for your hash browns, and offered a to go coffee to take home. I finally decided on the open faced smothered croissant with.hash browns. It was a large portion and so flavorful and ingredients were fresh. My husband got the steak and eggs with hash browns and everything was perfectly cooked. What we liked was that the food wasn't greasy or oversalted. The presentation of each dish was on spot. The menu showed the calorie count of each dish and offered gluten free vegetarian and a couple of other options. We definitely will be back. They offer smaller size portions of most meals for a couple dollars cheaper in case you don't have a huge appetite which is a plus. I ordered "the American" breakfast which is 3 eggs, meat, choice of side (fruit or hash browns) and choice of bread. The only thing that was kind of a bummer is that they only offer two cheese options which is cheddar and Swiss. The food taste wise was okay nothing to rave about in my opinion. My hash browns were too oily and eggs were scrambled and very dry. I've never eaten at this location before and I'm glad because every part of our visit sucked. Service...terrible. Never actually got our food until we complained and my plate was ice cold. My wife's eggs were cold but her underdone hash browns were piping hot -like they tossed them on the grill last minute OR microwaved them. We walked out after being there for nearly an hour. Our shitty server was...well, shitty and stupid. We actually gave it more time than we normally would to get our meal. Left it all right on the table while the stupid server gawked at us.
