Is this fresh fruit? This is gross. .

Service is inconsistent, cleanliness inconsistent. Food location. Big windows. Fresh appearance. When it's good it's good. When it's not it's not. I usually have the Wisconsin Scramble but there is a lot to choose from with many side options. The pot of coffee is a nice touch. The entrance to the plaza is very ambiguous. I parked in the law office next door. They close at 3pm

My friend and I went to breakfast at this Scramblers location on a Sunday morning. We were greeted and seated right as we walked in. Our waitress was really great- very helpful and friendly. I ordered the eggs Benedict with a side of potatoes and a chocolate chip pancake. My friend ordered the breakfast tacos with a side a fruit and French toast. Our food came out quickly and everything tasted so good. Side note: The pancake was as big as a dinner plate, so come hungry. lol this is great little diner to stop in when you want a classic breakfast. I'll be back the next time I come to Cleveland. Another thing that I thought was really cool is that by the doors, they have a coffee set up with small cups, coffee, and creamer. I'm guessing it's for while you wait, or on your way out. Either way, that's a cute gesture.

This is my favorite breakfast place. The pancakes are delicious! I have also ordered lunch food here as well and everything I have eaten here has been really good! The service is also amazing!

I came here for the first time a few days ago and wasn't sure what to expect, however, I was pleasantly surprised! I loved the waffle I ordered, it was perfectly cooked and the toppings were fresh and delicious! I was delighted to find both blueberries and chocolate chips within the batter as well as on top of the waffle . The home fry potatoes were also very yummy! Overall, a very pleasant experience with a cozy atmosphere and friendly service!

Cool place for breakfast. Nice open space, big booths, and clean. Everyone is super friendly. Portabella and Spinach omelette was delicious. The Big Country is layered biscuits, hash browns , eggs, and sausage gravy. Good flavor for the most part. Very large portions. The French toast, pancakes, and hash browns were all overcooked, lightly burnt which killed some flavor. Good breakfast today. Service was pleasant and quick. Food was delicious. Good spacing on the tables.

Awesome food! A huge variety of breakfast options. Their biscuits and gravy are very flavorful. Good service as well.

My first impression of Scramblers is that it's a very cozy and inviting place to eat. The decor is light and fun. I did notice right away after being seated that the customers started to pile up quickly by the front entryway. You could just watch their faces turn sour after waiting 5 or more minutes without even be acknowledged. They could have really used a host at the front of the house. They looked severely understaffed. Luckily, our waitress Ashley was awesome. I'd even ask to sit in her section if I go back there. She took outstanding care of us despite the fact that there didn't seem to be a lot of hustle happening in the kitchen. Granted they did have 2 large parties of over 10 and it's the holidays. But still, we waited a solid 23 minutes for our food. Yes, I timed it. I was hangry and about ready to leave. I ordered the breakfast sandwich with the number in the name...the 419 or something. It was a fluffy pile of scrambled eggs topped with melted cheese, bacon and hot sauce on a brioche bun, with a side of hashbrowns. The sandwich was awesome, hashbrowns were more like hadbrowns. They were cold. The malted waffle was great with the all you can eat option built in. We ate 2 and ordered an extra to go. My hubby ordered the steak and eggs with hashbrowns. No complaints there. Steak was cooked to his liking and his hashbrowns were hot. Go figure. Overall, I'd go back. It's like Denny's nicer cousin. Reasonably priced, great service, great food, clean.

I give it 3 stars because it's definitely not bad, but just didn't wow me. Still a good place to get a quick bite.

Delicious! Great food at a decent price! Their pancakes are sooo good! I can't resist each time we go. We took our 2 year old there for the first time and got him the child's pancake. It was bigger than his head and they even decorated a smiley face on it with whipped butter, a strawberry nose, and a bacon smile. Very nice touch and he loved it!! They do not have plastic child's cups so I would recommend bringing your own if you have little ones. As for adult fare... I had a Mexican omelette which was tasty, although I didn't care for the salsa, a bit tomatoey and bland. My hubby had the BLT which was : layers and very good! They also offer a reusable $3 off coupon for the entire summer in the gold

Off the top maybe 5-6 tables and a bar that holds 10-12 people if I was guessing. Multiple TVs playing all sports. Keno, Jukebox also available. Nice neighborhood bar. Staff were very friendly even though they were busy. As for the food, I ordered mozzarella sticks, a hot Italian sub with tater tots. The cheese sticks were bad. Tiny, lukewarm and not much flavoring. Marinara dipping sauce was bland as well. Now for the sub. Unreal Italian Sub. The tots were crispy and salted. The sub was AMAZING... repeat AMAZING. Served with Italian dressing, on a toasted roll. Banana peppers, onion, tomato, with multiple meats and cheeses. Definitely a bar favorite as I saw many people eating the same dish. It's worth a visit or a try if you're in the area. The big positive of this place was the prices. $2.50 a beer and $10 for that sub. My tab was low so that's always a good thing. I would go back to this place however it might be tough sometimes if the bar gets pizza. In the plaza it sits next to a pizza place that I was told you can order the pizza from the bar and they have a window to slide the food through. I didn't try the pizza so I won't review that place. Overall, a 7.1 out of 10 with everything included.

We arrived in the beautiful little "Norman Rockwell" community and the decorations were extraordinary. After an appropriate amount of OOOing & AHHHing we headed into the restaurant. The ladies at the door greeted us with a big smile and quickly seated us at a wonderful window table where we could enjoy the lights all evening long. A very pleasant young lady quickly arrived at our table, introduced herself as Cheri, our server for the evening. She filled our water glasses while taking our drink orders and discussing the nights specials. She left to place our orders and leave us to settle in and scan the menu. When she returned we talked a bit about the options for the evening. She answered all our questions very effectively and made several excellent suggestions. I chose the "Sesame Crusted Ahi Tuna" for my appetizer. And the "T.R. Bone-in Pork Chop" as my entree. Both were excellent as always. My wife and sister-in-law enjoyed the "Walleye Special" for the evening and my brother had the "Beef Pot Roast". As has proven to be true every time we visit "Sara's" the food was marvelous. Prepared and presented perfectly. Following dinner was an excellent cup of coffee (including a silver pot at the table for refills). And a "Rich Salted Caramel & Chocolate Custard"... excellent as well. As is true every time we visit Sara's the evening was perfect in every way. If you want to have a guaranteed wonderful evening. This is the place you want to go. And be sure to take the time to enjoy the beauty of Gates Mills.

Located just one…read morestreet north of me on Wilson Mills & Bishop, I was never too keen on finding too much about this place either. That was until recently.... From my many drive-by's, all I knew was that it resided in an ugly brick building in a strip mall and had this ancient, medieval font signage illuminated by partially burnt-out neon lights announcing not only the name of the bar, but also proudly advertising "liquor" and "food". I envisioned a filthy saloon clogged with blind drunks, toothless prostitutes and stray dogs. Once inside, all of my preconceived notions were put to rest. Kind of.... On my latest endeavor to familiarize myself with all the little hole-in-the-wall dives in my neighborhood, a project long overdue, the Mill Tavern was one of my first stops. It was 3:30pm by the time I started my quest. At this time of the day, the only patrons are that of the unemployed, broken spirits or lost souls. By association, I suppose I was one of them. Upon my entrance into the dimly lit, musty smelling tavern, I was greeted by a friendly middle-aged bartender and a sloppy drunk Russian at the bar. I could tell the bartender was happy to have another customer. Playing from each of the TV's were Family Feud reruns hosted by Ray Combs, then at 4pm, Cleveland's own sensationalized and over-the-top news program, 19 Action News. On entertainment value alone, I was highly satisfied. The night shift bartender entered around 4pm and tugged the lights off from the swirling ceiling fans above. The only illumination left being that of the glowing TV sets & keno machines along with strings of old Christmas lights illuminating the liquor bottles behind the bar. Then, perhaps by coincidence, one of the TV's lost it's signal. The drunken Russian blamed the loss of reception on the ceiling lights being turned off. Eventually the bartender gave in and entertained his theory which turned out to be wrong. While on the topic of ceiling fans, he babbled on frivolously about the merits of ceiling fans and the advantage of having them run clockwise vs. counter-clockwise during the summer. To the bartenders disappointment, she was on her own with this one. It was time to say my goodbyes and move on. Based on the hospitality, good nature and entertainment I was treated to though, I will be back to support this long standing, community watering hole. Old Mill Tavern, it's been a long time coming. I'll see you soon.
