Always pleased with whatever I order here. Wraps, sandwiches or dinner salads. I've been going for about six months once a week.

I was never really a smoothie person til I came across Pulp Juice and Smoothie Bar. Maybe it's…read morebecause my prior experience with smoothies predominantly consisted of overpowering amounts of apple, banana, or seeds from berries, and less so with more tropical fruits. In the week following my first taste of their smoothies, I probably ordered an additional 10 for myself alone. Overall, here's the rundown: Mango Tango - super sweet, not in a sickly way - more like the sweetness of a perfect mango Elite 8 - hints of strawberry (sometimes almost kiwi-like), mango balanced perfectly Pulp Coolada - just like a Pina colada, with a hint of banana. As one who loves Pina coladas, this was great, though I still preferred the mango tango and elite 8. Citrus Berry - wasn't bad, but in comparison, tasted "amateur-ish". Like if I dumped the Costco frozen berry mix into a blender and added just the right amount of sugar. Pulp Passion - like a guava-esque version of elite 8 (even though it doesn't have guava). As for their "enhancers", I'm not sure how much I actually believe their supposed effects, but the placebo effect has still been a nice way to justify the absurd amounts of smoothies I've been drinking... So why 4 stars? No smoothie should cost more than a full meal.

I'm extremely disappointed with how this Jersey Mike's location handled my gluten-free order. I…read morespecifically ordered gluten-free because I need to avoid gluten for medical reasons, yet basic cross-contact precautions were not followed. The slicer and preparation counter were visibly dirty and had not been properly cleaned before my gluten-free sandwich was prepared. When you offer gluten-free options and serve customers who may have celiac disease or other medical reasons for avoiding gluten, simply using gluten-free bread is not enough. The equipment and preparation area also need to be handled appropriately to minimize cross-contact. I understand that a restaurant cannot guarantee a completely gluten-free environment, but using a visibly dirty slicer and counter for a gluten-free order is an avoidable sanitation and cross-contact issue. Jersey Mike's has a reputation for taking gluten-free orders seriously, which is one of the reasons customers with dietary restrictions choose to eat there. Why ask if it's an allergy or preference if you aren't going to even change your gloves???? I hope management addresses this with the staff and reinforces proper cleaning and gluten-free preparation procedures. Customers should be able to expect basic precautions when they specifically tell employees that an order needs to be gluten-free.
