TaterQue's $1 Wing Wednesday never misses!! Everything is made fresh, so there's a bit of a wait--but when you get it... maaan, 10/10 every time. Laid-back vibes, '90s R&B always playing in the background, and the staff is consistently friendly. Oh yeah, my fave is the hot honey wings.

Feels like home ! Karaoke, music, and a little sauce on your hands I have been to Tater Que pretty often and it never disappoints. This spot of entertaining and laid back . My food is always fresh and seasoned. I got the mild wings today. They were tasty and I was able to get extra sauce on the side with no problem. I've have had the fish too and it was good. On Tuesday, they have taco Tuesday and the tacos are freshly good. The tacos are unique with Tater Que, they use items for tacos that are already on their menu. I love their own spin on the tacos. It can get a bit crowded but it is always a good time. This is also a good place to watch sports because tvs are from wall to wall. When they have a dj, he is so entertaining and interacts with the crowd . Pleaseee try the frozen drinks. All of them are very good Monday- reverse happy hour ($8 brisket nachos) Tuesday - Taco Tuesday (taco specials) Wednesday - wing Wednesday ($1 wings) Check out Tater Que. They will not disappoint!

I met a friend for lunch who I had not seen for months. She chose TaterQue mainly because it was voted one of Americas Best Restaurants by Travel Lens. Quite honestly, I was a bit hyped about dining at TatetQue. It's a vibe with sultry music playing in the background and a funky, cool interior. I was at TaterQue so I am going to have a spud. The seafood spud shrimp, crab and crawfish sounded good with Alfredo sauce on the side. It was not the typical large spud but a lot of small white new potatoes. It was extremely large, flavorful with lots of meat on the top layer. My honey cornbread was divine and I could have had a solo cornbread meal. I sampled my friend's brisket and fried wings. For a non-red meat lover most days, I was not enamored with the brisket. The honey bbq chicken wings, conversely, were the standout...soft crispy with perfect balance of bbq sauce and seasoning. I liked the honey biscuit but it was a bit dry in the center. Service was 24 carat gold southern hospitality. The cashier made me feel like I was visiting family. I wish all servers were like her with a service level of 5+++. I will come back for the corn bread and wings but look forward to trying the oxtails.

These wings are the bomb! Will definitely come here again for their delicious, lump, juicy, and meaty wings (I have not had in a long time!) The tater kegs are a must order too. Perfectly fried chunky mashed potato loaded with cheese and drizzled with sour cream. The Mac&Cheese monster kid refused the $7 Mac&Cheese that had too much 'black pepper'. Although it was a chill setting, It was 2ish and service was slow. Music was definitely my kind of music. My kid was even saying; "They are playing all your songs, mom!" Price wise, check the receipt! I didn't, and feel I was overcharged ($56) for the wings, tater kegs and Mac&Cheese.

Ok we came back and tried the big potato with all the meats, I went into a food coma and we also tried the fried Mac and cheese eggrolls...so good! We use them at my job for catering sometimes as well and the owners are so nice and go above and beyond with service and the food we never have leftovers. I also like their vegan spud it is surprisingly tasty to me!!

Nice well kept establishment luckily when we went there (around 3pm) there was only 1 person sitting down eating. I ordered the big jack consisting of BBQ ribs, sausage and brisket over potatoes with BBQ sauce y'all I had so much food my eyes was definitely bigger than my stomach. Second time here and it slapped just as hard this go around. The staff is amazing and helpful guiding you through all of their amazing options. Their purple drink (Jag Juice) is outstanding by the way.. We feel welcomed and appreciated when we come here... Will for sure be back. Don't let the prices deter you. I had a great experience last Sunday here. We came when they were having brunch. There was music playing and the vibes were vibing. You have to order your food at the counter and they will bring it out to you. It took a minute for our food to come out but I think it's because they didn't have much help and it was a good amount of people there. All the food was so delicious. I've been here several times and I've always only ordered the boudin egg rolls and the purple alcoholic drink, so rightfully I've never done a review here as I haven't truly eaten any of the entrees. Also, the menu initially didn't really have anything that I really liked. It looks like there might be more items on the menu now because I saw a few things that I wanted to try, but I'm not 100% sure on that. Well.... I tried the food! Let me just start by saying this place is a whole vibe! I came here on Thursday for the karaoke and trivia night. I got here around 8pm and I think I missed the trivia part. Good energy and a packed house. Food was so good! Service was even better. I ordered the rum margarita, it's fruity and strong! I ordered the Egg roll and Lemon Pepper wings. BEWARE BEWARE BEWARE!!!! This business attempts to advertise itself by posting a sign that says service animals only. But I a service connected veteran with his service animal were denied access. The security guard denied me, Veteran entry due to my service animal. He made light of the ADA Laws and Looked down on me because of my veteran disability. He just mocked the ADA literature that was cited from their site documentation. I was very uncomfortable about the whole exchange. The manager came out and just waived me off. I don't know where to report this, but I hope they get audited. Shame on you. I will never go back here. They denied a Veteran and his service animal access. Do not support this business. Unprofessional and disrespectful. The atmosphere was atrocious and The food doesn't even that good in person. Patrons beware! Connected and non connected beware of discrimination and thoughtlessness behavior from this business from its workers and even owner! read more

The Alamo was delicious. The smaller size was plenty of food. It's a bit pricey at $17 but everything is these days. I ordered it to go so didn't check out the place itself for that long but they had lots of TV's in there. I will definitely be ordering this again. read more

Attempted to order on Sunday evening. Place was hopping with a DJ and a decent crowd. Didn't expect to be patted down for weapons just to order food. Unfortunately, waited 20 minutes to be helped but left without ordering. Menu looks delicious, but service was way too slow. It was very loud inside with the DJ and saw everyone struggling to talk. Such a unique place! We came here on a Saturday and ate on the patio because we had our dog. When I saw BBQ Potatoes I was not expecting such a lively place! They have hookah on the patio, fun music going on, and the staff was so incredibly nice. We got the potato with brisket and beans and then the brisket mac and cheese and to say we were miserably full is an understatement. Ha! It was so good we couldn't stop eating! Food is great. I came here on a Sunday. I definitely recommend arriving before 3pm to get their brunch menu. We got the soulful platter and wasn't disappointed. The food was delicious. The greens and cornbread combo were so good. The catfish was a little salt but it was still good nonetheless. Oxtails were tender and served on top of mashed potatoes. I'm hesitant to leave this review because I know this place should be celebrated but I also want to keep it to myself. This is some of the best southern food I have had in the US. Fried catfish was perfectly seasoned with a generous portion and ultra crispy. Fries were like a better, less greasy version of Popeyes. Chicken wings are literal crack, not sure if anyone comes close. Lastly who ever is making the corn bread.... Dear god!!!!!! Pure Magic and I'd let you skip me in line any day of the week! read more

Great food and ambiance. Came in on a Saturday for a hearty meal and received just that! Staff were friendly and when asked, offered suggestions on the menu. Portions are standard generous Texas sized. They offer junior portions for those who know their stomachs well. The wings DO NOT miss!! The seafood spud was delicious as well. Definitely will recommend to anyone wanting a good Brisket potato or wings. 9/10 read more

The food at TaterQue is so delicious, I am always trying to find reasons to go back! My favorites were the Alamo and the Big Jack. On the Alamo, the brisket is tender and full of flavor. The baked beans and all of the other spud fixens on the large backed potato added a special touch to it. The Big Jack had so much meat. The combo of brisket, ribs, and sausage was an opportunity to sample different types of meat on one order. The times I've gone to the restaurant, I ordered food to take home and eat. There was so much food in my order, I was able to have leftovers for the next day. I love that TaterQue is present in community events. I saw and talked to management at a conference, and they are really great people. I highly recommend the restaurant to anyone who is looking for something fun, with great food, and friendly people. After driving past this place and the parking lot is always full, I figured I'd give it a shot to see what it's all about. I spent a few minutes trying to find a parking space then gave up and had to park across the street. No big deal...again, if it's packed because the food is ridiculously good, I guess it's worth it. When I was walking past the patio, and through a small crowd towards the front door, someone said "look at that white mother f--ker walking up in here". That was enough for me to turn around and not go back. Sorry...but that's not something I can get behind. I'll support any local business but I will not support that type of bullshit behavior from anyone. I was hoping it'd be another BBQ alternative in Pflugerville, but apparently the customer base doesn't want me there, so I'll continue to go to Brotherton's BBQ where they make everyone feel welcome. read more

This is definitely not a family friendly place. People are outside smoking weed in the walkway, the food and drinks are way overpriced for the quality. Service is worse as the waitstaff don't pay much attention to you unless you are a man. Took forever for them to take my order and when it didn't come after a certain time found my food at the DJ booth? It wasnt hot because who knows how long it was up there in the open. read more

Every single day I have passed this place waiting to try it. Every. Single. Day. My sister had a school event and they were there. But we left before they opened, and every day after that we've just. Passed by. Waiting to try it, and one day we finally got it and my god. The wait was extremely worth it. This was the most softest, tastiest, biggest, and best baked potato I have ever tried. The food was absolutely amazing. I ordered almost everything on the menu and you cannot go wrong. The white cream sauce on the spud was phenomenal! It was loaded with shrimp, crawfish, and lobster. Extremely unprofessional, no one had hair nets on , it was kids and other people in and out of the kitchen !!! Flies everywhere. The wait was very long ;on top of no one updating you on the status of your food. You pretty much have to fen for yourself here when comes to anything else after you get your food . She did an excellent job of explaining the menu to me and helping me decide on what to order. Her knowledge of the dishes and her patience in answering my questions were greatly appreciated, especially given how busy it was. I decided to try the fish and fries, and I also sampled a couple of wings. Both dishes were delicious. The fish was perfectly cooked, with a crispy exterior and tender, flavorful meat inside.
