Customer service is great -- super friendly! Unfortunately, I can only give this a 3-star rating because the calamari was extremely salty. I took two bites and couldn't finish it. My whole family tried a piece and all we could taste was salt. This actually happened the first time we ordered it too, but I thought it might have just been a one-off. Sadly, it doesn't seem like it was. The flavor was completely overpowered by salt and made it inedible for us. This Tastea location has the best popcorn chicken so far. I've tried other nearby spots, including the one in Long Beach, but that one was super salty. I've had avocado smoothies from A LOT of boba spots and this one keeps me coming back. It's so smooth and creamy. The flavor is by far my favorite compared to others. I like to get it light sweet so I can still taste the avocado. I always order to go and it's quick and easy. The only thing I don't like about tastea is that they have this radioactive green boba.. you use quality tea so why not use boba that isn't made with fake dyes. Which were such disappointments. I don't know what happened, but both of my food items were extremely salty. I went home and put the the food into a basket to try to shake the salt out, but unfortunately nothing worked for me to salvage the chicken nor fries. Fresh boba drinks and great service! :) Highly recommend the Specialteas because they all include bits of fresh fruit! The boba is also very chewy and well-cooked. We came during a promotion so it was very busy and there was a long line, but it moved rather quickly. After ordering, it took less than 3 minutes for our drinks to be ready! The shop is very small, however, and only offers a couple of tables. They're not very spacious and it right by where the line forms. My OG favorite boba spot! I love their easy to use app, helps me save time by ordering ahead. I'm very busy days when I'm not driving by one I like being able to get my drinks delivered. I enjoy Peach Me Sweetea with lychee jelly and Bootea Shaker that comes with grass jelly. On days that I'm feeling like a milk tea, I enjoy their strawberry milk tea with oatmilk. We just came from Tastea and forgot to mention a drink to be medium sweet, which is our fault. We spoke to the cashier who had helped us and she insisted she'll remake the drink which we thanked her for. Unfortunately her manager John had stepped in and asked her about the drink to which he "took care of"... Instead of the girl remaking the drink, the manger got another shaker with extra ice, poured the old drink into a new cup, and called our name out. Instead of confronting John, we decided to walk out and not cause a disturbance though left with a bad taste in our mouth. This is the only tastea where their avocado smoothie (avocado avalanche) is consistently flavorless. It's the blandest avocado smoothie I've ever tasted. I've compared theirs to almost every single other tea shops from Huntington Beach to Irvine - including other tasteas and this tastea (golden west) is always bland. I kid you not, I've given them 3 chances. The first time was ordered through DoorDash and I kind of thought it was a fluke but the other 2 times were ordered in person and all three times were bland. I was in the area and looking for Tastea, so I could get my free sample sized Pumpkin Pie Brûlée. This place is located just off the 405 on Goldenwest St. in Westminster. It's in a strip mall with other businesses, but some of the offices seem empty or closed. Parking is not problematic here. They have an outside pick-up window, to the right side of the store. If you order online or via the app, just check with them at the window to claim your order. For those of you, myself included, who want to go into the store, you can do that too. They will be happy to take your order. I like to go in and scout out the store. They have a restroom available to customers. Loyalty Members were given a free sample to redeem in the App. Be sure to join!! I didn't want to sleep on this Pumpkin Pie Brûlée because it sounded so good! Besides the Watermelon Heaven which is truly my favorite drink of all time, I now have a new favorite! Wow! I also got a Thai Iced Tea that I took to my husband. It was tasty tea! The closest Tastea to me is 11 miles away, so I have to take a good drive to visit one. If you're looking for a new location, the South Bay (Gardena, Torrance, Redondo Beach, etc) would love to have you!!!! I'm not down this way too often, so I'm not sure if I'll be back. I tried the matcha coffee for the first time and it's now my favorite drink there. I asked for 25% sweetness and it was still so sweet so either they forgot to lessen it or it's just really sweet to begin with but either way I recommend trying it at least once. We love this tastea, service is always quick, and everyone is nice. however, today 2/10, my boyfriend forgot to get me medium sweet for my tiger milk tea with boba, and instead got me full sweet, which was our mistake. We went back inside to ask if we could PAY for a completely new one, which Madison (who was the sweetest person ever) offered to just make us a new one. A nice small location just on Goldenwest street and Bolsa St. The staffs were friendly and taking our order quickly and same as we got out orders fast as well, the store was clean and you can just feel welcome here.
