    Frozen vegan chai!

Keira (sp?) made an AMAZING frozen coffee!! I will be back! Ambience is fun and food was awesome! What a gem!!

Lavender almond latte and cannoli tart. I couldn't help but they can before taking the photo. DO NOT PASS ON THIS TART

I'm a local and I can tell you that locals, visitors, and the Bard college students all love this place for a good reason. It's what one pictures when you think of a "cozy coffee shop", with all the amenities: comfy couches, plenty of outlets, good WiFi, amazing coffee and goodies GALORE. Parking: street only (only downside) Service: always friendly Ambience: cozy hippy, not hipster. Think groovy pillows and lyrical decor. Hard tabletop chairs though, for those who may need to sit for hours at a time. Adorable outside seating Food: so many options for literally anyone. I've never brought someone who couldn't find something to enjoy, and their breakfast sandwiches are sizable, almost massive Drinks: more options than one would find at Starbucks, for sure. The menu is almost overwhelming, but even if you order something wrong, you're going to enjoy it

    Inside

The food is delicious, extremely attentive and friendly employees, and such a great cozy warm vibe inside. You could easily grab a quick bite or stay and do some work!! Also no wait on a snowy Saturday midday which is great.

I got the bobo and let me say it's pretty much one-one with breakfast sandwiches you get a NYC bodega made with love. Eggs were runny, bacon was crispy and not charred ash, just the right amount of cheese as well and a crispy hashbrown patty like mc' Donald's. Plus got to love the hot sauce rack they have to customize your food, hot honey worked well. Also I notice someone there loves the label gun, since man everything was spelled out on the counters.

We stopped here on the way to the airport and were immediately amazed with the customer service. John and Brady were phenomenal. We ordered the small Italian club with Chicken cutlet and the Vittorio. We also got a large Muffaletta with the olive salad on the side, pesto chips, mixed pickled veggies salad and a cannoli. We wanted to change since we were going to the airport so we had to use the restroom. That's where we encountered John. He is such a lovely man. He was so sweet and I enjoyed our conversation. My sister was throughly impressed with Brady's customer service. He made her feel at home and was very friendly. All of our food was good. It is located on a back street with not much activity, and I was able to find parking quickly, which is key when you are on a work break. As soon as I walked in, the smells and sights of an authentic Italian deli were exactly what you hope for. There is a menu with plenty to choose from and a pastry case that I already know I will be coming back to try next time. I went with the Blue Ribbon panini, and in about ten minutes I had a hefty sandwich wrapped and ready to go. When I sat down to eat and picked it up, it did not disappoint. Chicken cutlet, ham, honey mustard, roasted tomatoes, Swiss cheese, and great bread. Everything blended together perfectly. On the first bite, the chicken cutlet burned my mouth in the best way possible. The tomatoes and honey mustard tied it all together and made it incredibly satisfying. I could only eat half because it was such a heavy sandwich. My dad finished the other half and shared the same appreciation for a really good panini. The next time I am working nearby, I know exactly where I am going, and I will definitely be trying the cannoli and the black and white cookies. 5 out of 5 stars.

It is VERY small inside, I was expecting a bit more room. If you sit outside, it is backed up to a junkyard/car repair place which is not very quiet or pleasant. We ordered the veggie burger with fries, and a beef burger with fries. They will not allow you to sub a salad for the fries. I saw rave reviews about the house made veggie burger, but personally, I was not impressed, and thought it was bland. The burgers were big, and difficult to eat, so we had to cut them up. The fries are also large & house made, and were good. I ordered a tossed salad with chicken to go for my husband. Chicken was good, salad was basic (tomato, avocados and onions). To put this in perspective, the food was on the expensive side, so we expected more. The bakery items are delicious. All together, for the 3 meals, 3 drinks and 2 bakery items, it came to $110 (plus tip). This may be reasonable for some, I guess it depends on location. Rhinebeck does tend to be expensive. They seemed to be somewhat busy with to-go orders. I guess it's one of those places you just have to check out, and decide for yourself! It's not a place I plan to return to.

Talbott & Arding was chosen as our first stop on our girls' getaway journey. Tucked in the Hudson Valley, just an hour from the Berkshires, it was a sweetly energetic beginning to our day. We each chose a sandwich from the counter. My smoked salmon on focaccia was a delight. The bread, airy and light, beautifully happy yeast just bounding with lift, defying the constraints of olive oil which left my fingers gloriously glistening. I haven't had a focaccia as happy as that in a minute. Super thin radish, bright pickled shallot and fresh watercress all gave a nice vibrant touch. Ben's cream cheese couldn't possibly be creamier. And the delicate, silky, fresh, luxurious salmon... What a dream. So balanced. I filled my arms with goods- iberico salami, Aleppo chili oil, Blackstrap coffee beans, local chocolates, and an adorable Talbott & Arding puzzle. I'm sure I could have easily convinced myself to buy just about everything I laid my eyes upon. The cheese counter was an absolute work of art. I actually wanted the board head product( without paying sales tax on meat. ) I don't understand what they thought they were or think they're doing. It's illegal!!!! Best deli meat ever ,in my opinion ,is Boars Head & they have it. I've worked at numerous deli's (Adam's) and Supermarkets, ie: Waldbaums, where you had to actually Know what was taxable and not taxable . And I'm sure a bunch of other people can't agree that, meat , in this case,is not taxable. He knew he was wrong. He said he was in the middle of updating his system. But instead of fixing the problem, and taking off the sales tax so I could leave with the meat , I would have loved to have had & give them my money at $13.99 /lb (a bit high, but was willing to pay for it) He offered my money back so that the next unknowing, tourist, (tourist town, or regular person )in particular would go in there and actually pay him the extra bit of money he's getting that you don't have to claim on your tax forms because it's not a section on the form to pay tax on because MEAT IS NOT taxable. Misto Eats--Cafe, Market, and Catering is located on S. Broadway, one of the two main streets (the other being Market) which cross to make up the center of Red Hook, NY.  There is plenty of parking behind the restaurant if you don't want to park on the street. You review the posted menu (also available online) and the board listing the day's specials, order, pay, grab a table on either side of the restaurant, and wait for your food to arrive. If you are looking for creative eats, Misto Eats is the place to find them. They also carry lots of pre-made meals (including soups and stews) and various meat and salad preparations along with some grocery items, freshly baked cookies and breads.  The venue itself is airy, bright and warm.  A beautiful place to sit, relax, talk and enjoy some freshly prepared food. Our food came out after a brief wait as everything is made to order.   My wife ordered from the day's specials--Grilled vegetables sandwich on home-made Naan featuring zucchini, cauliflower, oyster mushrooms, goat cheese, and Baba Ghanoush-Hummus.  The sandwich comes with the daily side which today was a delicious home-made potato salad with red onions, chopped fresh Italian parsley, very lightly dressed.  I ordered from the regular menu--"The Little Pickles Sandwich"--and there was nothing "little" or diminutive about it.  The sandwich  included crispy cod fritters on house-made Pão Frances with pickled serrano chili, pickled red onions, baby arugula, and MISTO aioli.  An amazing combination of flavors and while I've eaten many a cod fritter, cake or ball over the years (think pastéis de bacalhau in a Brazilian or Portuguese restaurant), these were among the tastiest I have ever enjoyed.  That they make their own Pão Frances (which were available for purchase in the bakery case as well) helped elevate the palate experience of this dish.  My sandwich also came with a scoop of that lovely potato salad. We really enjoyed our sandwiches, beverages, and the relaxing atmosphere at Misto Eats.  If there weren't so many other wonderful places to explore in the Hudson Valley for lunch and dinner, I would go back to Misto Eats tomorrow to try something else from their creative menu. They are open 11:30 am - 6 pm most days, closed on Mondays.  We will definitely be back in a few weeks for further exploration of the menu
