This store is very convenient for me, and it is large and has everything we need from clothes to food, crafts, office supplies, home decorating to bed and bath, toys and books, also a cvs pharmacy. It's hit or miss whether they are well stocked or not. Often things are out of order, but not terribly. I did just have a very good customer service experience where a particular item was shelved but priced incorrectly. Luckily I checked my receipt before I left. I brought it to the attention at guest services and they came and checked. They acknowledged that the listed price and the one I was charged (almost double) was their fault and corrected it immediately. Always check your receipt is the takeaway here! read more

Pretty standard Target. They have everything from toilet paper, to video games, to a gallon of milk. They even have a Starbucks here. This particular Target, although located in an outlet mall, doesn't have outlet prices. The prices seem to be the same as any other Target. This place gets packed every now and then, and as other reviewers have stated, the cashier situation needs some attention. You'd figure they'd have more than two lanes open, when there's lines ten people long with each person having 50 items each waiting to checkout. read more

This target store is located in the Bergen Town Center and where my main pharmacy is located. Pros: 1. Their pharmacy department is excellent 2. It is attached to the mall so you can get your shopping done as well. Cons: 1. Their starbucks is nasty. You know the starbucks signature whipcream? yeah, they use the whipcream from a can... 2. Parking can be a hassle over the weekend (they're close sundays due to Bergen County Blue Law). It is pretty much like any other Target. read more

If you've seen one Target, you've seen 'em all. Some interesting notes: 1. It seems larger than some...don't know if there's a standard square footage that all Target's have but.. 2. A ton of frozen and refrigerated food including a great selection within the lines carried. 3. It's a "green" target--the lights in the refrigerators/freezers have motion sensors and turn on when you come by. 4. One particular cashier was gawd awful...she spent forever checking out 2 people...while a good number of other customers were checked out by other cashiers. 5. This particular store personally drives me . It's typical Target, just to the Bergen mall. I come sometimes while I'm on lunch It's just chaos. It's midday and not one express lane is open. More than that, the lanes that are open are backed up to the clothing/jewelry department behind. The store itself is fine which is why I'm going with three stars.. read more

This Target used to be really great. I still like the selection they have and love the expanded grocery store. My problem is with check-out/management. There are not enough check out lines open. I went this past Friday (the Friday of Labor Day weekend.) I expected the store to be busy, but it was unacceptable that only 4 registers were open. Also, the check out person from my line left her customers unattended to help another cashier, which caused an additional delay, because the manager who was there ignored the cashier that needed help. Management, get your crap together. Your register people are getting stretched way too thin. I used to be a cashier, so I know that job is not easy at all. Hey Target, DO NOT offer the same day pick up service if you will not fulfill it. I ordered a game at 10am, got a confirmation right away that says the order will be filled in 2 hours. Went to the Target at 12pm, they don't have my order. Instead this old employee yells at me saying "it will be ready this afternoon" ... Ok, is 12pm not afternoon? I was patient enough to go to other stores to kill time for an hour, I go back to the horrible guest services section, THEY STILL DIDN'T HAVE MY ORDER READY. I go to the actual game section, there are plenty of copies of the game I ordered. Are you serious? I immediately complained to the employee there and he was confused, of course, why the guest services did not have my item ready. So he gave me a copy and took me to the guest services - and the same old man at the front says - "They are filling your order right now. You can't buy this unless you cancel the online order" Right now? When is right now? Another 3 hours+? Do you wanna keep your customers or not, Target? They have the dumbest non-existent pick up service ever! Never again. read more

Horrible experience with their cart wheel coupons. They had if you spend $100 on baby food/items you get a $25 gift card and if you spend $100 on toys you get another $25 so we got $219 worth of items and we separated everything for them toys made it to $101 and with baby food it made it to $219. And they made a big deal for the $50 gift card. We ended up not getting the full $50 because they said one item isn't part of the special but it was in the same section with the selected items to be part of. The lady who took over had an attitude and didn't make any eye contact with us. Maybe they should divide items better so we don't confuse the sales and waste our time finding items to reach $100 to get our gift card that we are promised. read more

Considering the location (the always crowded Bergen Town Center) and the fact that Targets are generally pretty busy, I was pleasantly surprised to see that this place wasn't a complete shit show. The parking lot is full, but not as horrible as the side with Whole Food- I was there around noon and there were a couple of empty spaces. The store is pretty big and easy to navigate. The layout mostly makes sense, unlike many of the other North Jersey Targets I have gone to. There were a lot of registers open and so there was no real wait to check out. It's Target so not much more I can say. read more

I don't know why all the negative reviews, I love this Target. Everyone is really friendly and they have entrances from inside the Bergen Mall. You can pretty much get anything you want at most Targets now. Normally, for food, I'll do the bread, cheese, milk type things last. The way they have it set up, when you first walk in you see all the clothes (women's' clothes) and go towards the home goods section. Obviously they want you to buy stuff you don't really need. Then you're off into electronics and finally groceries. Not giving Target 5 stars because their prices have been going up dramatically. read more

This target is pretty clean. I love the fact that it connects to the outlet. You can't bring their cart out of their store. They do have more registers open than most targets I've been to. Parking is crazy there in the front middle of the store, so I usually park to the back left side. Away from all the commotion. One stop shopping like other similar stores. This however does not always mean the cheapest prices for everyrhing but allows you to do a one stop shopping. They compete with super markets and department stores since they sell groceries. I love walking through their gardening, automotive and bedding departments. My go to Target, although I have been to better. It's very convenient for me as I use their Pharmacy and it's next to Whole Food's so I can buy the cheap stuff at Target and the Shi-Shi-Shi stuff I like thats not available here at Whole Foods which is 2 seconds away. Staff is OK. The register staff are so slow though. OMG. It's like they either love their job so much that they want to breathe in every minute they can while scanning your items or they hate it so much that their arms have no energy to keep scanning. I believe that the cashiers here are people who have some developmental issues. Not that I care, I think it's great that Target is giving them the opportunity to work but maybe put them in a different department because I don't think they know how to operate the machines well. I may be wrong and again before I get freakin Amy Activist sending me hate mail, I think it's great that Target does this and have no issues with them working. Their grocery section is pretty good and has expanded over the years but you will most likely need to do another stop at a grocery store to finish your shopping. I love Target. Trashy as it may be, I like being able to get a nice top in the same place I can pick up some groceries. The clothes are cheap and fashionable. The grocery selection has a lot of unique and low priced items. I can even get my mascara here for cheaper than I can at CVS. Looked on website and said they had stock, Went to the store. Found camera section and pressed customer service button for help. Message said someone would be there to help me in 60 seconds. Yes they came in 60 seconds just to tell me someone will be there shortly to help me. Stayed in the open near the camera isle so a representative could see me. I waited 5 minutes and saw a bunch of Target employees near the electronic/camera counter just talking and had employees walk right pass me and said nothing. Finally I head to the counter and one of them finally said can I help you. The gentleman was nice and looking like he wanted to help. Showed him what I wanted and scanned it to see if it is in stock. The Device said they had some, he went in the back to look. He came back and said nope all out. All well, these companies better get a better system and stop wasting customers time. Customer Service is really going down the drain or it is just this area!!! The only reason I give them 1 more star then Best Buy is the gentleman that I fnally found gave a little effort. read more

This Target was getting ready for Black Friday specials by putting sale televisions near the entrance of the store when I visited the day before Thanksgiving. There were throngs of people all over shopping, and I would say most of the associates looked busy but none asked if I needed help or greeted me. As others have mentioned, there is a supermarket section, but I didn't check it out. read more

I love going to the Target at Bergen Mall. It's clean for the most part. There's a lot of great selections in merchandise! I also like the Target Cafe with the Pizza Hut express and Starbucks. Even though it gets crowded sometimes, I still enjoy it either way. I also like the fact that there is a CVS pharmacy inside the place as well! This target used to be always stocked and clean. The produce section has always been lacking now it's laughable. If you want to be a one stop shop then you have a lot of work to do. People need fresh fruits and veggies not mushy crap. They don't have anything anymore. The kids girl section had maybe 5 shorts all in one size. All the T-shirt's were almost gone also. There's carts full of returns everywhere. No one asks if anyone needs help. My cashier was very friendly. The cashier at the food court needs to find another line of work. Was rude from the get go. And out of the last 6 trips there is never any popcorn cue my kids being upset. Make the popcorn already it's not difficult. read more

How can Target ever disappoint? They have everything and with reasonable prices? Well, this one disappoints for one huge reason: CHECK OUT LANES! They never, ever, ever have enough cashiers open! It doesn't matter if you go on a Wednesday morning while the world is out at work - you'll still end up wasting too much time on the check out line! I have no choice but to go to this target because it's closest to my home (although I should probably start venturing down to the one on River St. in Hackensack) but they really need to start opening more lanes. I typically go to self checkout so that I don't waste too much time on my break. Well if for whatever reason I need assistance the screen says to wait for a target employee. It is very convenient for me its located in the Bergen Mall and rite by CVS so every month I make my trip in here to get my supplies whether it be lotion to laundry detergent I can get everything I need rite here in one place. This is my one stop shopping center. They have a large selection of everything you are looking for and also have a starbucks cafe in the front of the store. Awesome! read more
