PROS: This place has unbeatable prices and their inventory has a good amount! They have anything that you'd want with a staff that's always nice when I go. Their hours are great compared to other stores in the county and they have two parking lots for your convenience. CONS: They are very dirty inside. This store definitely deserves more credit than it gets. Yes, it's closed for all Jewish holidays but I would never judge a store owner for following his/her religion and closing their store. There is however no indication anywhere online of their hours, so I decided to take a picture. That piece of knowledge would save me a trip. When I check the status of my order on Family Dollar website, expected delivery to the store is 12/6/22....here it is 12/10/22 and my fiancé and I BOTH have been calling the store for damn near 4 hours, we were hung up on once, like they picked up the phone & hung right up and every single other call has gone UNANSWERED FOR 4 HOURS!!!! The store itself has a great party selection, however the staff is extremely rude and makes the shopping experience difficult. I would prefer driving further to the Clifton location as the staff there is much nicer and friendly. If the management wants customers to return to this location, they should really consider retraining their staff to provide better customer service. read more

The store lives up to its name. Try looking up "Samsonite SA5243 - Ergonomic Lumbar Support Pillow" on Amazon. Then go to "Amazing Savings" and check their price. And yes, they don't seem to sell counterfeit merchandise. I am lucky to live very near this store (Teaneck, NJ) and I try visiting them as often as I can, when I need small household items - an exercise towards breaking the "Amazon Default Go-to Habit" - something that the big A goes to extreme lengths in trying to cultivate and solidify in customers' minds. I love Amazing Savings! I'm so happy I live nearby. I especially go there for paper goods such as paper plates, napkins, party items, and gift bags. I also pick items like knives, cooking utensils, and Children's toys. Their prices are "amazing" and if you go for a couple of items, guaranteed you will find yourself wandering the aisles finding more bargains that you will want for yourself or for gifts. read more

I visited this place a couple of times and was really impressed with the huge selection of items. The prices are generally pretty low and the quality of items seems to be on the better side. Great if you can get in. If you show up anywhere near closing time they will chase you out of the store. They close at 5pm but the doors are locked at about 4:50 Some items are a bargain, some items aren't. It's still a great place to get throw away party supplies. read more

One of my work mates told me I had to go check it out. Then someone I met recently started talking about this place and I had to see what was so amazing. So hubby dropped me off while he hunted for a parking space. The store is pretty large and has nice wide isles packed with neatly organized items. The first two isles were filled with stuff for the kitchen. The prices and selection were good. I knew my husband who has a fondness for kitchen gadgets would be a happy camper. I found a nice selection of silicon pot holders & trivets which I know can cost 5 to $10 for $1.29 to $3. There were a few isles of children's toys which also seemed priced very fairly. Lots and lots of party things which I did not really explore. This seems like a well organized odd lot or a seriously up scalded 5 and dime shop. There were office supplies and some craft things. And isle of health and beauty things with interesting assorted items. I managed to spend $40 & fill 2 shopping bags so if you like exploring and need stocking stuff items this is the place for you. Definitely a place I check before going to Toys R Us, Home Goods, etc. They have tons of stuff- toys, puzzles, all kinds of dishes, serving dishes, cutlery, office supplies, paper goods, kitchen stuff, and your household odds and ends. The prices are great- same or cheaper than what you would find in similar department stores. Definitely swing by here, at least to get an idea of what they have and what the prices are before you go elsewhere. read more

Today is Rosh Hashanah eve. everyone's schedule is very busy and tight. recording stated that store will open at 9 until 4:15. I was at the store 9 am sharp. Doors are closed and crowed is piling up to get in. around 9:10 an employee came to go in the store and when I asked him why is recording saying 9 and they are not open he said we open at 10 and closed the door in my face. shame on you amazing savings for not syncing with your recording store hours, I am sure 4:15 sharp the store will be closed but you neglected to open it at 9. so much for customer services for closing door in my face without explanation. read more
