Over the counter medicine is great here and their razor blades for shaving is a great bargain. Dollar General really is not a " Dollar " store at all. It's like a.... CVS or Rite-Aid, just a smaller version and without a pharmacy. Every time I go in the Saddle Brook store it's always clean. To me the sales staff is friendly and I never had a problem. Parking is very ample. I may suggest when your done with Dollar General take a walk next door to Harbor Freight as well. Get your Car washed across the street and then hit up the little bakery too. There is a bagel place not too far from Dollar General , it too is across the street and diagonal from it. There are many little hidden gems near this store. Go out there and explore them.

The store is very clean and the staff is extremely helpful in assisting you. Smell as many as you want before you make the purchase !!! My favorite one is Pink Sands !!! Used to buy Macintosh but seemed too sweet now. The Lemon Lavender is also slightly sweet but not too overwhelming, and if you are for the sweet citrus one, go for the Sicilian Lemon. The guy at the register first said he'd trust me and was going to change the price but looked concerned like he'd get in trouble. I told him, I'll show you on the wall. He said he's the only one there and the line was forming. I told him take care of everyone else first. I'll go take a photo. And I did and it did show the $6 price with the plush doll as an image next to the price. He refused to price correct it. He said he had no code when in the beginning he was going to change it to match the price. It rung up as $12. Businesses like this taking advantage of customers at the register don't last very long. Especially, when customers start getting savvy to the scam. P.S. I found the same plush on Amazon for $4.99 I can also get it from a number of random shops in Westfield or Willowbrook for $5. No thanks. Won't shop here again.

When a special occasion comes around, especially for someone special, I like being able to find the perfect card as a lasting memento of how I feel. I might be a bit sappy, but I fell for that whole "when you care enough to send the very best" ad campaign. This little shop is great, The owner is very helpful. It can be a bit overwhelming, because they have such a large selection of cards. The owner was great at helping me find where all of the various birthday cards were located. Although the cards are generally grouped together by type, some of the cards from different lines, such as the Hallmark Signature cards, are located elsewhere. I have generally been able to find the perfect card for the occasion. I'm always much more satisfied with the selection here than I am elsewhere. Walgreens sells Hallmark cards and the selection is "okay", but it's much better here. CVS and Rite Aid sell other brands. The only drawback to this Hallmark store is its location. The strip mall it is in has an A&P, Dunkin Donuts and a few other miscellaneous stores, but it's not a huge, trafficked strip mall. That's a shame, because I would shop here much more frequently if I had greater occasion to visit this area. I come to the A&P on occasion, but prefer the one in Fort Lee. That said, when I do come, I make a special trip, because it's worth it.
