This was my first time at the Little Ferry location after doing some grocery shopping at the H Mart in that same Asian strip mall. I'm familiar with the Daiso in Edgewater; this store is bigger and it's newer. If you're looking for affordable/inexpensive toys, adorable plushies, cute stationary, snacks, tech accessories, doodads, finds for your kitchen and bathroom, pet costumes and products, craft stuff, office things, odds and ends, etc., this is a good place to look. It's like a Japanese Five Below. I bought car accessories and meiji chocolate bars (what I bribed my husband with to get him to step inside Daiso with me). Customer service was good. The cashier guy who rang us up was friendly. So overall, I recommend checking out Daiso Japan if you are in the shopping plaza.

*It's very important that you know that they have a law here again, selling clothing, electronics, shoes (house slippers& flip flops too) kitchen goods on Sundays. 「I came on a Sunday 」(**) So if you come looking for some kitchen items, he won't be allowed to purchase them on a Sunday. But even still, there are oodles of cute things you can buy. Staff is very nice & helpful. ***I'm a big fan of their STATIONARY items send household cuties ! Of course, they have some DRINKS, soup/ bread items & cute snack . There are some things I have never seen before . It's like a dollar store with (cute) ATTRACTIVE ITEMS.

When visiting Japan, I came upon a fun store, Daiso, where music was played and many items were quite inexpensive. Great for fun souvenirs, I thought. The Japanese Dollar store chain, Daiso, and back then, I had wished there had been in NJ. I was quite excited when I found two Daiso stores in NJ this year! Daiso is a Japanese inexpensive variety store that has some pretty good quality items, such as houseware, kitchenware, cosmetics, adorable stationery for those who love to do journals, toys, and many interesting Japanese snacks perfect for yourself or to share. If you enjoy or need help organizing your desk or closets, you will find many organizers to keep your house out of chaos. Quite recently, I was speaking to a wonderful lady who wanted to acquire some ramen bowls. I had rattled off some stores for her to visit but then remembered Daiso carries some nice porcelain dishware. I had visited Daiso in the Edgewater, NJ location and found their selection not as vast as this location. I found an entire section dedicated to dishware where you can purchase beautiful ramen bowls, sake cups, and many other items that can be purchased and not break your wallet. I just could not resist so I purchased some, myself. Upon purchasing my dishware, the cashier was nice enough to not only wrap each dishware separately, but she also used tape to ensure it does not unravel during my trip home. I found the entire store clean, calm, and filled with so many beautiful items, I am going to be stopping by more often when I am in the area. This store is found in the same complex as H-Mart. Parking is easy since it is in a shared shopping complex.

I think it is a little nonsense that they don't sell electronic items on Sundays

I was in the area and decided to check out what this store was, and it is just a Japanese version of a dollar store. They have lots of products from kitchenware, office supplies, snacks, electronics, and etc. Unfortunately, there are somethings that you are not allowed to buy on the weekends due to their county's laws. Staff: They are friendly and helpful with the self-checkout. They should get their self-checkout machines fixed because it is too sensitive and double scans items. Overall: This was an ok experience to see what was in this store.

The Japanese Dollar store chain, Daiso, has opened its latest outlet. I have visited their Edgewater, NJ location, which is much smaller than this one. If you compare this selection in Little Ferry to the Edgewater location, you will be very impressed. Comparing it to a Japanese Daiso in Japan is still not the same, but it is a significant improvement. I have seen Daiso in San Francisco, too, and glad to know that they are expanding. I would recommend looking at the dishes and a wide variety of items which may be super cute, but the stigma of the dollar store is not here. The quality of the products is high compared to the actual price. We picked up a car window shield shade and random laundry organization items. On a future visit to H Mart Little Ferry, we will stop by for their seasonal offerings, which can be cute and valuable in that order.

Translated from the Japanese meaning big making, Daiso is a Japanese "dollar store" located in Little Ferry opposite from the new H Mart. The store features school supplies, entertaining and organizing supplies plus thousands of products ranging from beauty supplies, stationery, gift wrap, greeting cards, electronics accessories, gift items, kitchenware and snacks. Prices are mostly under $5.oo and note that No exchange or return once items are bought. If you are in the area, experience this store.

I mean it's another Daiso store, but I was sorta disappointed this one doesn't carry enough cute kitchenware and utensils. I was hoping to find some cute bowls and utensils for my kids but left with disappointment. However, this location has a section for planting which I hardly see in other Daiso stores. Store is clean and neatly organized. One thing I enjoyed is the self checkout. I don't have to wait in line! It was easy and straightforward to use. I wish all stores will soon have that available.

A great selection. Very organized. Employees were busy stocking shelves but available if needed. Pricing was fine.

I went to Food Bazaar in Fairview for the first time in MANY MANY years because a vegan friend told…read moreme she goes all the time. While I was there I was like OMG why have I not been going here?! Now first to be honest I got ribeye bulgogi yesterday and then I remembered. Like the bad Yelp reviews say, don't get meat there. It goes bad quickly (why I stopped going) and it is very poor choice quality (why I remembered yesterday why I stopped going). While tasty, it was full of gristle and fat. On the other hand, that's the ONLY bad comment I have. And the good news, there are 1000 good reasons to go despite that. The fish was WICKED fresh. Eyes clear etc. price great. Veggies and fruit. All great. Cheese selection amazing. Tons of variety. Honestly it rivals Whole Foods post Amazon now. But it has a great selection of foreign food stuffs too that Whole Foods does not. Did I mention the roasted coffee bean bins?! This place is just amazing. I cannot wait to go back and try it all!

What a great store!! I feel like this franchise is not consistent with your typical FB as to saw…read moremany free samples, which was a pleasant surprise! They also have a big sized parking lot, making it super convenient. This one is located in Fairview and I would say it has food from a global perspective (South American, Korean, Asian) The biggest surprise is that this is the only market where I've seen Blue Fin Tuna carving! It's only in the weekends but it's really cool!
