TJMAXX is literally my favorite place to shop. I only frequent this location and they do an awesome job of keeping the site organized despite the large array of items for selection. They sell jewelry, clothing, some snacks and food items and more! I always go here for my holiday shopping and for birthdays because I can find such cute things at such affordable prices! They even have name brand bags and shoes, as well as make up and beauty products at reduced prices. I have their credit card and basically get rewarded to shop, as you receive cash back. This review is solely regarding the dressing rooms and dressing room staff. Today I encountered one employee who is always absolutely miserable. She's an older lady with a short bob wig. I arrived with my items. She gave me an attitude when I put them on the hanger to be counted as she always does ignore more than one or two items. I then went into the handicapped room because I am nine months pregnant and could use a little extra space. She informed me that if someone handicapped came, I'd have to leave immediately to which I agreed with. Her delivery however, not so much. I then tried on my items meanwhile i heard her being rude to other customers and complaining about other employees asking her to do things/not working hard enough. When i finished i put them back on the hanger for her to count them again. When i did this one of the little size tags popped off of the hanger. She then very rudely said to me you'll have to pick that up now and hand it to me I then informed her that I'm pregnant and I was working on it. It just takes me a second to bend over. She rolled her eyes and scoffed at me. She seems like she hates to be there and I don't understand why she still works there if that's the case. not to mention the handicapped dressing room was filthy. There were holes in the wall that looks like they were half repaired. Dirt on the walls grime and dirt on the seat. I didn't even try everything on because I felt like it was unsanitary even being in that room for too long. Tj maxx in Lyndhurst is fine so long as you don't have to try anything on. If you plan to I'd recommend packing light (so you don't have to set your belongings down on the dirty surfaces )and mentally preparing to be spoken to as if you were less than by that disgruntled employee (who is there more often than not) read more

Hands down this is the best TJ Maxx in New Jersey. I go out of my way and pass at least two other stores on the way here. Always has full racks. It's always clean. It's easy to shop. I love coming to this TJ Maxx for anything except for the clothes. I don't think they have the best selection of styles, I rarely find anything here. I do love coming here for everything else though! The kitchenware aisle is great here - I snatched a small mortar and pestle for 7 bucks! They have a fair section of shoes and sandals. The jewelry is definitely worth a look here. They always have great name brands at nice prices. I've found very decently priced Michael Kors watches here. The parking lot does get packed here on weekends but you can still find a spot farther away. Closed on Sundays. Lines are hectic on Saturdays but they do move quick. Overall it's a good store to stop in if you need a few things around the house! read more

The location was in a small strip mall and it was definitely the anchor store. Upon entering, there was a good selection of hair, bath and skin products, tucked in the front corner. We spent far too much time checking out artisan soaps, shampoos and other interesting beauty items. My BF said the jewelry was ok, nothing super special, other than a few high end items (watches, fine jewelry, etc.) We moved on to housewares, where there we a plethora of gems. Sadly, the ladies and juniors department was disappointing, but the young men's selection saved the clothing department. I found two, hard to find, licensed sweatshirts for only $20 each! I ended up with some tasty ginger mints and a set of masks with their own little storage bags too. $60 for 7 items was a top-notch deal. I will certainly stop by again. read more

I love TJ Maxx and I should probably open a credit card since I go here wayyyyy too much! The staff here is always friendly. When trying on clothes they have a limit of 6, but are never rude or make you feel bad for having more. They're accommodating. They answer questions and help the best way they can. The check out counter always has multiple lanes open and open even more when needed. The store itself is why I gave 4 versus 5 stars. There is a wide selection, but a lot of times I wish there was more. Some other TJ maxx or Marshall's have a wider variety. However, as I stated in the beginning, I still spend way too much money here. read more

This TJ Maxx has to be the nicest TJ Maxx I've very been to. Always great prices and there is usually a lot of traffic here. Long lines aren't an issue because there's usually 5 or 6 registers open. read more

Hit or miss, but I do get good bags here. They're pretty understanding with their return policy. Parking is horrible. Besides too much traffic, the exit and entrance are too narrow. I say go to the Marshall's in East Rutherford if you want a better selection and want to breathe easier. read more

Its a place made for only women. Once u enter the store the only thing that u will see around its purses, shoes and perfumes. All the other clothes are hitting from the view. The gentleman aisle is hitting in a coner like they dont care. They get a 4 star cause they have good items just that they need to have a big change in the store. I purchased a handbag on the internet and it was not as described. I went to the Lynhurst location to return the handbag and was told that I must have the plastic bag that the item came in to return the item. No where does it say on the return policy that you need the plastic wrapping that it came in to do a return. I had the receipts and none of the tags were taken off. read more

Not the best selection I've ever seen at a TJ Maxx, but the parking lot is big enough so that you can get a spot even when it's a super-crowded weekend and it's right next to my favorite pizza place (Mr. Bruno's) AND a dunkin donuts which is a plus if you just want someplace to window shop without getting stressed! Lines are definitely not as long as some stores. All in all a good option if you live in the area and don't want to go on the highway or deal with crazy congestion! read more

Horrible Customer Service. Very rude and unhelpful. Went to return an Item asked for help was told "we can't help you until you walk all the way in the start of the line" (there was no one online and no one was paying attention) When I told the lady I was waiting there initially but no one paid any attention to it... I was told "well you should have waited longer" Don't waist your time here there is a Marshalls few miles away on route 17 with identical items and there staff is friendly. read more
