Sucks! Cheap clothing for expensive prices.. ive seen better clothes at s 2nd hand store!

I'm recovering from major surgery and was able to take the escalator up and wanted to take the elevator down because I am unable to navigate the down escalator. I approached three separate employees who answered, "I just work here" I finally found a manager who had to request permission for me to use the cargo elevator. One of the better selections stores for a Nordstrom Rack. Two very well stocked levels. There is definitely a larger female selection of clothing than male. The shoe selection here is great. There is ample seasonal and homeware in this store location. Decent sized section for accessories and baby-toddler clothing. Depending on the day lines can be long, especially during the holiday season. Parking is hit or miss depending on the business of the other stores in the center. read more

Not sure I would come back. So we came here since we were in the area and my moms really wanted to stop in here. We came in here and the store was somewhat of a mess. There were clothes off the rack and in the wrong places- I honestly wasn't really feeling the look. Additionally, a lot of the clothes in here looked like they were from the thrift shop. Don't get me wrong- I LOVE thrift shop clothes and shop their all the time however, when I come to Nordstrom Rack- I expect a different experience. Overall, not feeling it- not sure I would come back. Ps- I didn't get a chance to go upstairs because after being on the bottom floor, we wasn't really interested in seeing anything else. Lastly- the security guard was super cool!!! She inquired why I was taking pictures throughout the store; she thought I was a secret shopper. I told her I am addicted to Yelp and felt compelled to express my opinion on this platform! She is the reason I gave the store an extra star. read more

First of all, this store is very clean, organized, and strict with covid-19 safety measures. Everyone was wearing a mask properly and was very attentive. Check out when fast for purchases and returns. Secondly, after losing my wallet for a week and not being able to find it, I finally returned here to ask to find out that not only was it turned in, but they locked it up, put a post it note with all of my belongings inside, and apparently were on the loudspeaker calling for me for 20+ minutes (unfortunately I had left without realizing). Super helpful, and supportive staff. Love this store!! read more

Honestly not my cup of tea - this location needs to hire more works to be able to handle the volume of customers as well to keep the store organized. I walked in not much longer than an hour after they opened and the store was still a mess - not sure if there was no clean up the day before? All the dresses were everywhere and some were even damaged - why would that not be in another section of the store or not even out. The floor was directly and the small items were all disorganized. This store needs a little more TLC. read more

Shopping at Nordstrom Rack is like a treasure hunt. You never really know what you're going to uncover or find. I've found some really good items here before which felt like winning the shopping lottery. With two levels of clothing, this location seems to have a lot to offer. Their women's department is big, but does not include a large petite or plus sized section. Sometimes racks are organized by brand which I appreciate. Other times they have it organized by price (i.e. under $35 rack). The more expensive items are usually located at the front. I particularly like their shoes, accessories, beauty and jewelry departments. The clothing can be hit or miss. If you happen to be in the area, this is a great spot to hit! I probably wouldn't go out of my way to go here, as their website has a lot of the same items. However, it's still a fun shopping trip, and you can make a day out of it by visiting the other stores nearby. read more

I felt discriminated against by the manager here. I used to LOVE this store. Yesterday I needed to return a pair of Spanx jeans that my aunt bought for me. I love Spanx and have the flare leg pants in black, size L. They fit perfect but watch out for the jeans. They are cut different. But I digress. Anyway, my aunt said she got them at Nordstrom but couldn't find the receipt. I took them to Nordstrom rack to return them. They looked up my aunt by her phone number but did not find record of her buying the jeans. My aunt is 89. She couldn't remember what phone # she had connected to her Nordstrom acct. She's had many phone #'s. The jeans had all the tags. The cashier scanned the tags and called a manager. The manager told me to choose a gift card. Then says, "$147? That's too much money. I can't give you that much." I'm like, "Wait what?" She continues to say that's too much money. So I ask is there a limit on the amount when you don't have a receipt? If so, what's the limit? She says "I'd say about $100." Me: "What? You'd say? So you just randomly decided this right at this moment?" She says "No. it's not random. I just can't give you that much money." So she doesn't want to give ME a black woman $147???? It's going on a gift card. It's not like it's her money coming out of her own pocket. Or, I could see if they didn't have enough cash on hand, but it's going onto a Gift Card! And there's NO store policy that says she can't put a return over $100 on a gift card??? She's making this up. I felt this was racist. I felt angry. I just too my jeans and left immediately before I said something I'd regret. I went to Nordstrom in the mall and returned the jeans with no racist undertones. Got my $147 on a gift card, thanked them and left. read more

I went there yesterday to return some clothes that didn't fit my fiancé. The girl working there kept smirking at her coworker next to her as she returned my clothes. The whole time they were making faces and talking under their breath like I was annoying them by having a return. It got so bad I almost said something. She was very rude. read more

I stopped in yesterday looking for a few things and found myself looking at shoes. A nice employee I believe her name was Kay was so very helpful. I couldn't. find my size shoe. Seems like everyone always has my size 10 /10.5. She went out of her way and found me the exact shoe I wanted! That's what I call excellent customer service! She even convinced me to apply for a credit card! I wish all the employees here where like her. Other times I asked for assistance here they could care less and I got no customer service. This is the 3rd time I come to this one. I hate the lines. Only 2 people at checkout. I love the site and the Bergen town square one. Even the one on route 10 is ok. This one has 2 floors but it doesn't make Nordstrom add more workers here. They need to hire more people. read more

Just opened in October 2015 and I am happy I do not have to drive to Paramus to go to Nordstrom rack. The staff is helpful, the place is organized and staff is very friendly and helpful. The women's section is on the 1st floor and the mens section plus my favorite section shoes are on the 2nd floor. The selection they have is cool and reasonably priced. I feel like the women's section is smaller here but still like it. I would come back and definitely would go back! Hopefully wont become too crowded..Im selfish sorry! :-) read more

Man, this store does not represent the brand. Nordstrom Rack employees are usually friendly and the merchandise good, but this store stands out for rudeness! NR stores have taken my items back past the 90 window without receipts numerous times in the past, and are usually nice about it. The staff at this store, however, not only denied me (though I had a receipt and was only a few days over) but was incredibly rude in the process. I will go out of my way not to shop at this location again. read more

I like this Nordstrom rack, I feel they have a healthy collection. They're not as well-versed in designs and brands as the Bergen County Mall but it's a very nice store with multi levels. I sometimes come here to return my online purchase, the staff is always very quick and courteous. You don't always have to wait in line to buy or return things, sometimes they carry portable scanners to let you return outside of the line which I think is very cool. read more

Went this evening to check out this new location after being a loyal Nordstrom/Nordstrom Rack shopper for years. I always have a positive experience at Nordstrom Stores, but this is the best experience so far. The store was clean, well organized, and easy to maneuver, with a great product selection. The best part, though, was my checkout experience. As a retail/fashion professional who works as a customer service/selling/product knowledge trainer for a luxury fashion brand, any time I shop I pay very close attention to customer service. Rhonda, the associate who rang us up was friendly, and extremely personable. She is by far one of the best associates I've ever dealt with in any store I've been to. As a first time mother, I now have worries I never even thought about 4 months ago, one of it being when I am out, I need to find a place to nurse my baby as my 4 month old baby feeds every 3-4 hours during the day. Living in Manhattan, it is almost impossible to find an appropriate place to nurse in public. I had the pleasure of venturing off to NJ yesterday with my baby and stopped by at Nordstrom rack. I noticed it was getting close to my baby's feeding time so I inquired an employee there if I could possibly use the fitting room to nurse. What happened next was amazing! This employee escorted me to their "Mother's Room" so I could nurse in private in the comfort of a real locked room complete with chairs, table and a large mirror. She patiently waited outside for over 20 minutes until I was done to escort me out of their employees mother's room area. I was so touched by how nice all the employees were cooing at my baby and how this would have never happened if I was shopping in Manhattan. This whole experience even had me thinking for a hot one minute of moving to NJ so I can shop with more comfort with my baby. Way to go Nordstrom Rack Wayne NJ! This is the most friendliest shop you can go as a nursing mother!! read more
