Very upset I walked in with my husband we were given a piece of red paper by the Manger Ebony when I walked in saying $10 off purchase of $49, $20 off with a $99 purchase $60 0ff with Purchase of $199. No explanation what items you can or can not purchase with this piece of paper. I bought 3 Crocs for 0ver $200 and was told I couldn't use the coupon they gave me because Crocs was not an item I could purchase with the coupon they gave me at the door. This is false advertisement and unfair to customers. Please customer be very careful of this false advertisement. They honor the coupon and gave me the discount because they know I was right. I told them Macy's and JcPenny coupons advertisement explains what item you could and couldn't purchase. Ashley was the one that told me I could not purchase items then she contacted Ebony. This DSW is the closest to my home, yet I'd rather travel 30+ minutes away to a different DSW. It doesn't seem to matter what day of the week, time of day, or the crowdedness of this store, you can bet there's still only 1 register open, 2 max. That was my recent experience again, and has been my experience every single time I come into this store. I've spoken to the manager on 2 occasions in the past. Their comment was "they were short staffed". If this is what happens every time I'm in this store, then I suggest you start hiring more for shifts. I've actually walked out 2x, when I planned to purchase something (both times) because the line was too long and taking forever to checkout. I can't really say I was impressed with this store. So I've been to a few DSW locations that I've really liked however this wasn't one of them. Normally, I'll spot a few things that catches my eye when walking in the store however, I wasn't too impressed with the selection. Many of the shoes looked out of place and wasn't the best style (for me). Although there are clearance racks in the back, a lot of the shoes on the floor looked like they should've been on the clearance rack or was pulled out of the clearance section and placed on the floor as full price. The layout of all DSW stores are pretty much the same however, for some reason I wasn't really "feeling" the layout of this one. Shoes were all over the place, the store overall just really felt cluttered. Initially, I was going to give this store "1" star however it was the weekend and I understand shoppers are not the most considerate when putting shoes back. There is plenty of parking outside and this store is in a very convenient location around "24 Hour Fitness" & "Nordstrom". Overall, I probably wouldn't come back. read more

I love shopping at DSW! It's like a treasure hunt for shoes, which means it can be either a hit or miss visit. You never know what to expect here. One thing that seems to happen on the regular is that they don't have a lot of sizes in stock, or they have the less common sizes. However, you can easily place an order in store for the right size. The line is almost always at least 3-4 deep at minimum, with only 1 or 2 registers open. They have helped to rectify this issue somewhat by having a register open specifically for returns/exchanges and customer pick-ups. Being indecisive, I am always making returns or exchanges and it's nice to be able to walk in and return something without having to wait on the massive line. Associates are helpful. They are always willing to place an order for you if they do not have your size in stock. Make sure to sign up for their DSW rewards program so you get coupons sent to your house and email. They send a good amount of coupons that are usually good on anything. read more

I am not a shoe person. I have two pairs one nice pair one work pair typically when one wears out I'll still wear the other one until that wears out and then buy shoes. That said I appreciate the selection of shoes the store has. This store is one of the largest shoe stores I know of around and has a very good selection of women's shoes which is what my wife is looking for here. The prices vary from the lower into the quite high-end I saw some shoes ranging into the $300 range but I also saw some shoes down around $30. The store can get a little messy but if you've ever been to any shoe store in the world that's typically what they look like with people throwing the shoebox filling around instead of being humans and putting it back in the box. read more

However, it has the same amount of lights, generating a dark atmosphere. it is hit or miss, either you can find your size or come back next month. I must say the selection here is decent for us fellas! The mens section is like 2-3 aisles, but you can luck up and find something stylish for an awesome price. I agree that sizes can be hit or miss here, but it's not something to deter me. The sales/clearance racks for men can be heart wrenching though.... I know their prices are really good but has anyone really taken a step back and realized that the prices are low because the styles are so yesterday? I mean, don't get me wrong, I don't care if it's out of style, if I like it, I buy it. But the reason it's less expensive it's because they are discontinued or towards the end of their life cycle. With this all said, I still shop here for sneakers and once in a blue moon for shoes. Their men's section is tiny compared to the women's. It's ok though, women love their shoes! You are usually on your own and I like that all their stock is out on the floor so you don't have to flag someone down to go find a size for you. The flipside is there is rarely someone around to assist you but it's ok with me. I am a big boy I know how to find stuff. Rude and unwelcoming staff. There's a sign on all the shoe stations that say something along the lines of "don't see your size? Just ask". First off, I had to go hunting because there was no dam workers to be found. When i finally did, she acted like I always bothering her. And her response to me asking for a shoe size was "whatever is out is what we have." OK SO WHY DO YOU HAVE THAT DAM SIGN. I grabbed the shoe and brought it to the register hoping I can run to another store who had them. When I got up to the register, I was not greeted or even looked at. She just grabbed the shoe and scanned it. Of course she seemed upset when I told her I wasn't purchasing. YOU WOULD KNOW IF YOU ASKED ME FIRST. I asked to see if she can find my shoe at another store. DIDNT EVEN ACKNOWLEDGE ME! She started messing around with the computer and says "there's another store that has 1 pair but that's maybe". Couldn't have had a more terrible experience. First line had 10 people on it and 2 people at the register. Waited 20 minutes to check out. One of the register people left so eventually it had 1 person checking out. Both women had terrible attitude. Price was incorrect on display and I waited another 10 minutes for the rep to come verify, which she did. Went back to the register and the rep said they will honor it. The manager the. Said to me it's not her fault that a customer misplaced the shoe and won't honor it. For the all intensive purposes it's not about the discount, it's about the lack of care, professionalism and experience that I had to decide not to buy them. I never write yelp reviews but my experience at DSW tonight was so frustrating I have to let the business know. I found shoes I liked at DSW and stood on a line of 20+ people that only kept growing behind me. There were only two people working the register so I understood I had to be patient. However, the manger Kaitlin, was no help. When a customer asked the manager to open another register for a few minutes to help out with the long line, Kaitlin gave the customer attitude and walked away. Kaitlin proceeded to walk down the shoe aisles aimlessly ignoring everyone standing on line. The cashiers needed help with returns, but the manager walked away from them. The manager began having a side conversation with a woman who walked into the store and when another customer approached the manager about opening a cash register for a few minutes to help out, the manager gave more attitude and said we "would all be helped shortly" even though the line hadn't moved for 15 minutes. I was so close to leaving the store as many other people standing in line already had. Thankfully, the 2 hard working cashiers got the line moving eventually. I am so disappointed in the manager and how that situation was handled. I do not see myself coming back to this store anymore. read more

I'm a regular customer here and always loved their variety, however today I was really annoyed. I received a gift card from one of my clients so decided I wanted to use it today. The gift card would not swipe, so their system told them to manually key in the gift card number. I was told by the manager it was their policy not to key in numbers because of credit card theft. I totally understand that, and appreciate their concern with people stealing credit cards. But a gift card????? I ended up paying with my debit for the shoes then going to another dsw location, returning the shoes and re purchasing the shoes with the gift card. I have been a long-time customer at this store, so it's been very sad to see this store go downhill. The available shoe collection seems to have declined, especially in the hard-to-find sizes. Much less merchandise is displayed in the discounted sections. This store always seems to be understaffed with only one or two clerks at the checkout line even when a dozen people are waiting. And upon my last visit, the store was in total disarray. Shoes, shoe boxes and tissue paper were scattered all over the floor in every aisle. The displayed shoes were disorganized with some being in the wrong section or totally missing. There was only one employing who was slowly and unenthusiastically attempting to straighten out the mess. I was with a friend who really wanted to browse so I stayed, but had I been alone, I would have walked right out.
