This Torrid has a great selection of their items BUT the customer service is almost non-existent after the initial greeting once you walk in. I was carrying about 6-7 items which isn't light and I wasn't asked if I wanted a dressing room at all. When I visit American Dream Mall's location, I'm always asked if I'd like a dressing room or if I need help with anything. I tried everything on then took pictures of what I liked and decided to go support a store's sales with better customer service -- American Dream Mall. Their prices are pretty high, but I've been content with the quality of clothes that last more than a year or a few washes. Nowadays a lot of clothes only lasts a few washes before it starts pilling, stretching, shrinking or discoloring- I've had good experiences with Torrid's clothing. Clean and nice looking store however I came here to do returns and buy some bras on a weekday early afternoon and the staff were rude and looked bothered I was there. Any questions were barely answered and they spent the time gossiping with each other. No help in the dressing room and no offers of help. Sorry I interrupted your social time at work. I won't be back nor will I shop online because their return policy is trash (it says you cannot return "tights". I wanted to return leggings as their size guide is so off and according to their policy leggings and tights are the same thing. In what world are tights and leggings the same?! read more

The staff at the Clifton store is so friendly & professional. They are beyond helpful in putting outfits together & getting you the best price combos during sales. I also appreciate being able to have my online purchases received here. The store is always clean and the temperature is perfect. Keep up the great work! read more

So frustrating!!! This store never opens on time. The signage on the door says that they open at 11:00 AM; it's 11:15 AM and it's still not open. It's particularly frustrating because this is a very busy parking lot with all of the other stores opening earlier. It's challenging to get a parking space only to find the store is closed. Torrid Management please do better! read more

Great customer service. They usually don't carry my bra size, but they always order it online and ship to me for free. Disappointed they haven't sold petite sizes since Covid though. Us short girls have curves too. read more

There's probably no way anyone will know my love for this location. It's really all about the ladies behind the counter here. Yes the clothes are fabulous but we already know that! The women that work here always go above and beyond. They do it all with a smile on their face and a bubbly fun personality too. Parking is tricky here but you can always find a spot even if it's farther away. The store is a little small but it has everything. It's a very busy location too. If you're in the area and looking for a torrid, come here because you won't be disappointed! read more

Staff are rude. I did an order in front of the manager online to apply a discount. She said she can't fill the order until it comes through, totally understandable. I told her I will come back. I handed the item I wanted and she said as soon as it comes through she would call me. Also she added it will take 30 minutes up to 4 hours. I got a notification that my order was canceled a few hours later. Instead of putting the item on hold to fill the order she either (A) put the item back knowing it's the only one or (B) she canceled the order. Hmm I wonder which one she did. read more

Greeted when I walked in the door, "Welcome to Torrid". Very attentive staff, was consistently asked if I needed help without feeling like I was being pestered. Cute clothes for the fashionable larger girl. Sale currently going on with an opportunity to earn Haute Cash. Are some things a little pricey? Yeah, maybe, but if you buy cheap, you look cheap. Check the sales racks, there are some good bargains there. Good staff, cute clothes, sounds like a winner to me. read more

I never heard of this establishment one of my patients told me about it. Because I was telling them about the Avenue stores closing down. I don't really care for going to the malls . I stopped by I was greeted at the door friendly staff and the clothes are more my style like Avenue. read more

I've shopped here for a few years now off and on. I like that this store is conveniently located in the same mall as Ulta Beauty and Trader Joes. Yesterday I visited and the staff was extremely friendly and helpful. I appreciate the store associate taking the time out to help me find the right items for an event I am attending this weekend. Torrid as a whole has trendy items but I think some of the quality of the clothes are not long lasting. So I'm taking off one star for lack of quality in clothing but not for a lack in customer attentiveness and friendliness. read more

Torrid is the best plus size store, I love their clothing. The staff is incredible and always friendly. I have had this torrid affair since 8/2015 and I've loved every minute of it. If you haven't shopped at Torrid you are truly missing out. read more

Staff seem friendly enough though no one offered to help me. But I still give it a good rating because it is a large store with a good selection of clothes especially ones that are on sale. I'm very happy that they now sell 00 (Size 10/12) so I can still shop at Torrid. The prices are not cheap but the clothes are so cute and trendy. I will continue to shop at this branch. read more

I was a loyal customer to this location they really do have everything I look for in the clothes I'm looking for. with the manager still working there I stopped going there she's rude always has this face like she hates her job at all. Some girls hear the door open don't even greet it there were girls there before that would stop what they were doing just to help and that's honestly what customer service is about they should really think about firing that manager always hear talk about her personally life at the store when I was there. read more

If I could give it less stars I would. Absolutely the rudest, immature, nastiest staff I have ever encountered in any store. I asked a question and unfortunately the staff was too busy chatting with each other to answer me. I asked again and was met with eye rolling and a curt answer. When they proceeded to make comments about me as I walked towards the dressing room I figured enough was enough. Not wanting to cause a scene I asked to speak to the manager, and to my surprise the person who was the nastiest turned out to be the manager. I turned and left the store with the manager and staff laughing as I walked out. Are you kidding me? Where do you find these people? If this is the example the manager is setting there is no wonder the staff follows suit. I would drive 50 miles to another store before I set foot in the Clifton store again. read more
