We've shopped at Paragon for decades and always had good to great experiences there. The staff is…read morewell-informed, has integrity and the merchandise is of excellent quality. Tonight l had another great experience at Paragon thanks to the sensitivity and good nature of Mike R in the upstairs shoe and boot department. As a rule, my 88-year old husband doesn't like to buy himself new clothes. But after what feels like weeks in this polar vortex, with him stubbornly trudging and slipping through the snow in old rubber rain boots and a cane, l stopped hinting and put my foot down: we were going to buy him some warm, waterproof boots with cleats. Knowing that he might only put up with one outing, I decided to scout Paragon on my own, first. Mike R. advised me he had only one style of boot that fit what l was looking for and not many sizes left. When he came back with a size in the ballpark, l asked if he could hold it for me. Mike was blunt: he couldn't do any 24-hour holds with the stock so low, but he could hold it for two hours. I thanked him, explaining that if l bought these and presented them to my husband as a done deal he would never even try them on. But we'd be back, within the hour. When we arrived on the floor, Mike picked right up on the dynamic: this was not a customer for a hard sell. And so Mike was the soul of discretion. He kept a low profile, talking quietly and only to me and showed up just often enough to be helpful. He was patient, kind and l got the feeling he was enjoying the challenge of selling without ever even connecting with the guy trying on the boots. And Mike's strategy worked! We made the transition from my husband's original reaction to the only boots in his size ("l hate them!") to walking out with four pairs of socks and that same pair of warm, waterproof boots with cleats. I am deeply grateful to and frankly in awe of Mike R, Paragon boots department. Thank you!

They showed me different options, gave helpful advice, and offered to bring me different sizes and base layer suggestions to try with my ski pants. Unfortunately, I forgot their names, but one was a middle-aged Spanish woman and the other was a young Black woman with blonde curls. They were there on Wednesday around 3:30-4:00 p.m. When I was finished, the Spanish lady even told me about the run club they host on Tuesdays. I really enjoyed my experience at the store because of them!

I was initially excited that there was somewhere to buy Timberlands in the neighborhood, but the…read moreexperience went south when I had to return the boots and the owner would only offer me an exchange. They had literally never been taken out of the box. I begrudgingly found something to exchange them for, and he still wouldn't even give me the difference between the pairs in cash -- I ended up with $50 worth of socks and a bad taste in my mouth. I always try to support local businesses, but "no returns" is a really bad business practice and I hope my review encourages the owner to rethink it.

The man that was working was super nasty when I was asking prices and wasn't even aware of where the shoes were/sizes were in they mess of the back of the store. When I decides on two shoes I asked if he could find the other one and he quickly yelled at me to "hold on, he was trying to find the size" which resulted in him calling someone. Before I could even REALLY decide between the two shoes (one he wen deep sea diving for and the other in which he was really just too lazy to find) he took the pair and put it in a bag and he was like ok 70$ and continued to give me an attitude when I wanted to find out about the other pair of sneakers. Mad at myself for buying them, might be returning just since the guy was a total asshat. Stay away.

Discovered this NY-centric clothing and home goods shop by way of a new Inciardi Prints release…read morepost. Incredibly cool of them to commission 8 custom prints for the machine. I love the convenient location and layout (great website, too but may be iffy to order from depending on other reviews). The merchandising makes so much sense; it's visually pleasing. A plethora of home goods, accessories, and clothing that makes a statement. Basically in love with almost every t-shirt they had on the website. The 2 staff members were informative, fun to chat with, and helpful especially with fixing a jammed slot in the print machine. Sizes run large as my Small was suuuper oversized -- that's on me tho bc the gentleman I was speaking with offered to me to try it on before purchasing. Luckily, my boyfriend also loves it so it's now his. I will be back!

I spent several minutes hunting for a customer service number but could find nothing but an email based interface. I sent in the message, by this time 10 minutes after placing the order asking them to cancel the order. However, they did not read the message and respond until late in the day and by then it was too late. I am now out $54 and my husband won't get his Father's Day gift. I won't be ordering from this company again. A company that is too cheap to have a customer service phone, or to respond to emails quickly does not deserve my business.
