Today I went to Nordstrom Rack and other stores in the mall looking for some special work sneakers. I like coming to Nordstrom because I find high-quality shoes in excellent condition at great prices. Unfortunately, they didn't have the specific type of shoe I needed, but whenever I've come here to shop for clothes, jewelry, sunglasses, or skincare products, I've found high-quality items and brands at very good prices. The store is a bit cluttered personally speaking, but it is always clean, and there are many employees constantly working to keep it organized and tidy. Nordstrom Rack - Shoes - Shoe Stores Near Me - Paramus, New Jersey

This is probably one of the most chaotic Nordstrom rack locations I have ever been to. The line is similar to that of a home goods and is always mobbed no matter what day or time you are there. I was here to pick up an online order which was decently efficient. However this inside of this location seemed a bit disorganized as there were boxes and bags everywhere. Also I've noticed these discount stores seem to allow everyone to bring their dogs in. I am a huge dog lover but your barking out of control doodle which is clearly not a trained service dog has zero business being in a store. There are ample amounts of clothes and shoes and accessories but it does take some time to sift through what you are looking for. I would say 60/40 of the store has a good deal if you are knowing where to look. read more

A few friends and I stopped were perusing the area at Bergen Town Center and eventually we stopped here to find some good deals. And that we did! I thoroughly enjoyed this Nordstrom Rack and I've never found any issues with it. Not sure why the poor reviews. It displayed out as you would expect any other Nordstrom rack to be, which is basically section based on clothing and gender. It is not for the faint of hearted to shop here as I could take a while sorting through all the racks to find the gem. The checkout lines, I find always to be pretty fast even when they look overwhelmingly long. The return line can be a bit more cumbersome, but even so I have never waited a terribly long time. One thing that I really appreciate with Nordstrom Rack is that if I do not enjoy sifting through the racks, I can order online with free shipping at a certain minimum and easily return to the store. They also have extra sales from time to time which means you can score a really nice peace for a fraction of the price. Being that it's in a mall environment, you can easily pop into other stores when you are done shopping which makes it easy for a day out. read more

I am so upset after my experience this evening. Erica was the manager on duty. I have a wedding to go to tomorrow night and I stopped in for shape wear. I chose a pair but it said there should be 2 pairs. The other pair was no where to be found. They told me they cannot sell only the one pair. I was willing to pay full price and this was the item I needed. Maybe if they spent some time cleaning and organizing the store then I would have found the other pair. This was not the customer service I deserve and it has definitely changed my mind about shopping here. Too bad because I was a regular customer. To top things off - I went to pay with a new $100 gift card, in fact the cashier had to scratch off the access code but told me that I only have $.07 left on the card. I knew that was impossible since i got it for my birthday just one month prior. She also told me she was unable to look up the card and the prior transactions and that I had to call. When I called - I was told I have $99.93 left on the card! I noticed the gift card balance on the receipt as well. I went back and had them void the 1st transaction and to ring it up again and Erica didn't even know how to process the exchange. This was by far the worst shopping experience! If you were blindfolded and lead into any Nordstrom Rack you would probably think you were in a Marshall's or TJ Max. The store bares way more resemblance to these than to their upscale name sake. Look at the concept and do the math. The concept is that sale items and overstocks from Nordstrom end up here to be sold at deep discounts. Now do the math. There are WAY more Racks than actual Nordstrom locations. The math renders the concept impossible. As my late father said, it looks like a load of crap. Can bargains be found? Absolutely but I guarantee that less than 20% of Rack merchandise has ever seen the inside of an actual Nordstrom. They're cheapening their brand over the long term but I guess that's not really a consideration as long as they make their money. Nordstrom has gone way downhill since their hay day some 25 years ago. If you're looking for a reason, look no farther than their Rack stores. I've been there many times and have yet to buy anything. read more

I agree in part with one fellow Yelper who said that this location is reminiscent of Marshall's. Upon walking in this location, it did look like a run down ugly bargain store more like Marshall's that was about to close or a Strawberry's. Nordstrom Racks are usually very nice stores. However, once you get past the initial appearance, you see that there is more than meets the eye. This is a store to go to if you want to score a fancy pants LY (last year) item for a deep discount, generally 1/3. They are still somewhat expensive but many are "investment pieces". You can get some really good basics like a good pair of leather pants, a suit or dress for a special occasion. Items are arranged by designer and size. However, some items were damaged such as pilled fabric and should have had deeper discounts as a result. I will come back here when I need a dress for a wedding later this summer. read more

Nordstrom Rack is now open and there are clearance sales EVERYWHERE. From designer racks to active wear, blazers, and so much more, literally each rack is marked down and totally affordable. Right now I would say there are tons of Jcrew options and Madewell shirts that are on clearance as well as accessories, bags, and tons more. If you are a fan of this outlet, you might want to start waiting in line to get in and shop till you drop. read more

I had a pickup order this week. The process was fast and easy. Too bad the sneakers I ordered did not fit. (Schucks!) I did walk around the store to see if I can find any good finds. They definitely have them especially at this time of year, but the pricing did seem a bit high. They have a lot of inventory. It seemed a bit too crowded in there for me. I love a good Nordstrom Rack! This one isn't one of my favorites, but a bargain is a bargain. This one is pretty cramped and hard to maneuver around. I just felt like I couldn't fully browse since everything was squished in there. Maybe if you go here not on a Saturday you will have a better less cramped experience. You can certainly find some good deals if you take the time to dig through. Horrible customer service when buying online. I ordered items in multiple packages and their delivery service ( NOT someone reputable like UPS or FEDEX) supposedly delivered them but I never got them. Then the customer service person ( 1-888-966-6283) said she was looking at a photo which shows the package was delivered to my front porch but she refused to send the photo to me so I could verify it was the right house. Fan of this particular store location, their amazing online storefront and app! I've gone to the store several times and it's kept fairly well organized. Sometimes I do agree the lines get very long at time but that's like most shopping in suburbia. My favorite feature and would recommend to others is shopping online or thru their app!! There is a wide selection there AND if you spend $100 it's free shipping. So even if I'm uncertain on one or two items, I buy them and have been able to easily return in store- and then shop around if I have the time. read more

Shoppability This store gets a 2 because it is crowded and cramped and things are all over the place. You cant get to the mirrors to see things that you try on (jackets/shoes) because there are clothing racks in front of them. Stuff is laying all over the floor and there doesnt seem to be anyone attending to that. Prices They are a little cheaper than the regular store so there is a positive in that. Some of the mark downs were a laugh. Items There is a nice variety of items, including small and large sizes. The shoe collection was decent though there were certainly less of the small sizes. Parking Anyone who has ever been to this shopping area knows its a nightmare. Just no better way to put it. Check-Out Long lines though they do move faster than expected. Thank goodness for that. They have a flag system that when a cashier is ready for a customer, they wave their flag so you can see that they can take the next person. This pretty much earned them a whole star here. read more

This review is for the customer service I received from cashier staff "CERAY A." on 4/20/21 . She was the MOST ARROGANT/ INSOLENT person I have ever met in my life! Came to return some online products at the store and to much dismay I have encountered such a RUDE staff so early in the morning. Please allow me to write what transpired so you could have a better understanding:: STAFF:: "Take them out of the box" . -- ( no good morning/ hello whatsoever. That was the greeting I got) ME:: took all the items out since she is clearly having a bad day at the BEGINNING of her shift. -- I asked " Can I please leave the box with you?" Since I still intend to look around & shop/ buy clothes here and other shops too. STAFF:: " NO. I don't need it!" ME:: " I don't need it too" . --. So I looked for a place where I cld leave the box and decided to place it at the end of cashiers' booth bcoz there's no garbage can in site and I can not leave it the cubicle where I am at coz it might inconvenience other people coming after me in line... STAFF:: " You can't leave it there!" -- ( such arrogance in tone) ME:: "I don't see any garbage can. So where wld you like me to put it?" --- [ or does she expect me to carry the box which is much bigger than there standard paper bags - the entire day while I shop for clothes? ] STAFF:: "Give it to me!" ME:: went to get the box and handed it to her... --- Then SHE THREW THE BOX BEHIND HER WITH SUCH ANGER!! ME:: "What's your name?" STAFF:: " You dont need to know since I'm already helping you!" ME:: "Wow! you have such an attitude!" Who's your manager? At this point, the manager (LUIS G.) was more than courteous to even apologize for how the other staff (CERAY A.) has treated me. But I think the Nordstrom Rack management (higher up/ Human Resources, etc) should know and atleast consider re-training/ counseling "MS. CERAY A." bcoz I have not ever seen such INSOLENCE/ UNPROFESSIONALISM!! . I know the company's philosophy is to provide quality customer service/ experience to all its patrons BUT this lady " CERAY A. " is the EXACT OPPOSITE of what your company tries to achieve. Also, take note that this all happened in the MORNING!! 2hours after the store opened! I wld probably let this one go if it happened towards late evening and just think that she might be tired from work. BUT NO, in the MORNING!! This location is so busy and yet always under staffed. The employees that are here are clearly overworked and not so happy. The complete opposite of Nordstrom. Obviously people will still shop here because there are good deals, but it would be such a better experience if they had a few more employees on Saturday especially in light of the fact that the store is closed on Sundays. read more

Being 6 foot 2 inches I bought a pair of size 12 wide Italian Allen Edmond black dress shoes for the wedding marked down from $325 to $199. Being 6/ 2 I need 12 Wide to stabilize myself especially in the wind. I also purchased another pair of Protege jeans marked down to $79, which was a better discount than the $98 at Neiman Marcus for the same brand of jeans. I like Protege jeans. I think Nordstrom Rack is better than Neiman Marcus Last Call Studios because they offer more of a discount at least on Protege jeans. I think you girls know much better so let me know, which place offers better deals for other items? Speak up or be silent. So my total bill was $279.94. Thank God for no NJ clothes tax. I am now on both of their email lists, when all merchandise is marked down. Now off to Bloomingdale's Outlet Store and than lunch at the Bergen Center. read more

Checking out the Bergen Town Center, I decided to hit this place up right after my Century 21 adventure. My visit was more so outta curiosity than anything else. I hadn't seen a Nordstroms Rack since me living in Cali. This N-Rack was sad...as in pathetic sad. In no way, shape or form can it compare to the monstrosities Cali has. This one was the size of a bathroom compared to the ones I've been too. Never have I been in such a dirty, messy store, and when I was lucky enough to find something I considered buying, it was damaged somehow or looked used. I first heard about Nordstrom Rack from my boyfriend and he took me the one in the D.C area (I believe) and I fell in love with the store, the vibe and the service! so when I heard there's a Nordstrom Rack in Jersey, I was happy! (even though it's far; about 1 hour) i went the one in Princeton and i had a great experience! However, this store in Paramus is the worst! the cashier didn't clearly listen to what I wanted and ended up doing everything wrong! Some great deals, but you really have to look for them among the tons of racks that have clothes strewn about everywhere (no fault on the part of the employees- SO MANY people come thru here, rifle, and leave the shelf a mess). I found some great deals on makeup- brands like Nars and Urban Decay (they were probably discontinued products but I was thrilled to find them)! Some really nice mens' ties and shoes, as well as jewelry. Its really a matter of what they have in stock. I've come in here on previous occasions and couldn't find anything worth a look, and at times I can't walk out without getting something. So its hit or miss! Also- don't assume that everything is a steal just because its the Rack- there are still dresses for hundreds of dollars and shoes and bags going for almost retail. My favorite place for good finds! I do suggest you open a Nordstrom's card to "rack" up rewards! I have bought plenty of children's clothes from there for my 2 year old son, very stylish. It's hard to find places that have good little boys clothing and shoes. Mostly, they're generic and the colors aren't great but here, it so awesome the finds you'll come across. The only reason I come here is for shoes deals. Everything is over-priced, for men anyway. If you can't a good deal on a designer watch, then try Off 5th. For all clothing items, you need not look any further than Century 21. But the shoe racks at Nordstrom Rack are filled with sleepers. Anything and everything from Bugaboo chukkas to Magnanni captoes can be found here, and at phenomenal prices to boot. Now I'm not saying their inventory is always stacked. The wait is ridiculous. There are some gems that you can find. But by the time you get to the line you just want to leave everything you picked up. There was a woman in front of us who had a stain on a heel and they literally went to the back to 'clean it off' while we waited. It's now been 20 minutes and they still didn't ring us up. The logical thing would be to put her aside while she waits for her shoe to be ' cleaned off ' and ring the rest of the line up who is waiting. But common sense is clearly nonexistent here. And to make matters worse now.... The second guy who was check out through the phone had the battery die in the middle of the transaction. This is ridiculous. Will not be coming here again and do not recommend it for anyone. They are very rude and disrespectful. Terrible terrible experience, I cannot reiterate that enough. I would rather go to the Marshall's here that has wonderful buys and nice employees working. read more

I absolutely love this store. They never give you a problem with returns and their prices are great. If the checkout line is long, you can find any worker with a green shirt on the sales floor. I can't. I legit can't! This store is so unorganized and crazy. I know, I know. It's an outlet but compared to it's neighbors (Bloomingdales Outlet, Off Saks and Neiman's Last Call) this store is basically Marshall's. Actually I think Marshall's is more organized! Plus I've never found anything here. It's all ugly stuff from like 2003. The only good thing here is the tiny cosmetic area where they have Neutrogena oil and some shampoos. But, it's only like a $2 discount. Parking here is horrible as well. I rather pay $2-$6 more and just head over to Nordstrom. read more

LOVE this store! I used to be a big fan of Nordstrom's dept. store until I found this. Designer brands at discount prices! I used to come here to get my Ed Hardy fix on (when it was more popular). I now go to get my fix of Juicy Couture sweatsuits, Coach shoes and Micheal Kors bags... Not to mention huge discounts on all perfumes that are awesome! ( e.g.,Burberry, Dolce and Gabbana, Betsey Johnson, Juicy Couture, etc,). The shoes for men here are absolutely awesome most days. The clothes are okay. The lines used to SUUUUUCK. But now you can pay and be on your way by anyone in a green shirt. I can't tell you how many times previously I walked out of this joint pissed because of the line. Problem solved. read more

This Nordstrom Rack location is good, because beside this store they have other places that you can visit. It has a huge parking lot, which is always busy on Saturday and Sunday, but luckily for me and other people that couldn't find parking, they also have a garage. About the store, this store sometimes can be a mess, but i think they trying to keep it together. Sometimes they have crazy lines, but they good with that because they have 6 cashiers helping people, so most of the time the lines moves fast. I don't really like fitting room at this store, its small, not very clean and bad lighting! read more
