Most of the time they have discounts. I don't think we ever paid anything in full price there. Long line at the check out. Staff is nice. No bathroom inside. I came back to purchase some items that I saw on my last visit. Store associate Allison was very helpful and kind. After asking if there were any more of a dress that needed to be swapped she walked back to the location and found it for me. Outstanding customer service at this location although the sizing in the sale section does need some organization. There are good deals here. I spotted Juicy tracksuits for $59 total. Very clean and organized with lots of luxury products at good price. Men's clothing, accessories, under garments are good, also solid place for bags, watches and travel products. But I don't often see good women's clothing here. Few associates are around for any help. Checkout process is not the fastest. But it's a good store for some guilty pleasure shopping :) read more

I very rarely write reviews, let alone poor ones, but I felt compelled to after my shopping experience. I have never encountered a less efficient or more apathetic team of cashiers in my life. Among the three of them, it took 40 MINUTES to check out the 7 people in front of me in line [that's (3x40) 120 minutes or 2 hours of labor for 7 customers]. I was only purchasing a single item, a pair of sunglasses, and while I can forgive the difficulty the cashier was having removing the security tag, I was left dumbfounded when after already having kept me waiting for 10 minutes, she stepped aside to say hi to and catch up with another employee who was passing by. From the moment I stepped in line, it took 50 minutes to buy one item. To exacerbate matters, in her inept effort to remove the security tag, the sunglasses were scratched up and bent so out of shape that they're no longer wearable. Now I'll have to go return them and spend another hour of my life that I'll never get back on that godforsaken line. The blatant lack of respect for the time of the customers is inconceivable. read more

I visited today and want to try one of sunglassess inside the locked display rack so I went to the middle age asian lady who's in charge to ask for assistance, she told me if i can give her 5 minutes and she'll be back so I waited but a few minutes later I saw her assisting another customers in the bag area. Still i gave her a chance & waited for another few minutes for her to get back to me. But when she came back to the sunglasses section she assisted another customer who came after me & so I approached her again that I want to try too she nonchalantly told me that I need to wait since she can only serve one customer at a time! read more

Love coming here though, like most outlet stores, it's hit or miss. My favorite departments are the handbags and shoes and there are good deals on some very cute kiddie clothing and shoes. There's always some sort of sale going on and the staff is very nice, friendly and helpful, for the most part. I am on the mailing list and the GM here will send out emails letting you know of new shipments of certain merchandise. I find this a pleasant and personal shopping experience. If you have a Bloomie's charge, they take it here and I noticed that the Friends and Family Sale discounts are also applied here. I have bought some crazy bargains here. Do yourself a favor on weekends. Don't even try parking outside; it can be a nightmare. There is plenty of parking in the multi level parking lot and entrances into the mall on all levels (elevators). read more

A Bloomies Outlet??!! No way! This is the first Bloomingdale's outlet store in the Northeast. It opened back in August. My brother and I went into full shopaholic mode as we made our journey to NJ. This outlet store is in the Bergen Town Center and its neighbors are Nordstrom Rack and and Last Call Studio by Neiman Marcus. Suprisingly, on this Saturday afternoon and just a few days before Christmas, it was not crowded at all, which I liked very much. We had the store pretty much to ourselves. This store is clean and neat and it's all on one floor. First section in the front is large section of women's shoes, and handbags. Followed by denim, women's clothing, and at the very back, the smallest section of the outlet the men's department. I shopped and made the following observations. The fashions carried here are of previous seasons as I recognized some of the styles. Prices here are cheaper than the store but if they have your size you're in luck. My brother did not buy anything because he was disappointed with the small selection of the men's department. One gripe that I have is that there is no beauty products department and a funny thing was that's the first thing that I was looking for when I walked in. I walked all over the place before I realized there are no perfumes, cologne or lotions to be seen. Because this outlet store just opened, and has great competition from its neighbors, it can be a hit or miss for anyone. I will give them credit for having a great selection on women's shoes, handbags, party dresses, and coats. At this time, there was an extra 30% on women's coats. So this shopaholic satisfied her addiction with a Elie Tahari down coat. It's going to be awhile til I visit this outlet store again. I won't be back. Their hours are terrible especially for professional or working women that shop during the evening store hours. I was there last night and there's a floor warden literally throwing you out the door at 8 pm sharp. If you're already in the store. You can't even finish shopping. They cut you off and will harass you every 2 minutes personally coming to you to tell you the store is closed. Basically they follow you around. So rude and unprofessional. This is an outlet so Obviously you cannot expect to have the same quality or availability as a regular Bloomies department store. It's true they have a lot of crappy clothing and the women's section is a lot larger than the men's section. You can find some great deals here on Cole Haan men's shoes, socks and button downs! I bought my boyfriend a Tahari jacket, He loves it and there was nothing wrong with it, no imperfections. The women's shoes and sometimes purses are great deals. But you really have to comb through the items to find the great deals. The sales associates are a little slow but they are friendly if you are friendly and always greet you. Unless you love Cole Haan there is really nothing to buy in shoes, 90% is Cole Haan. Jean selection so so. Otherwise a pretty sorry excuse for a men's depeartment for my liking. 3 stars for Women's section which is far more extensive with a decent handbag area and clothing seems ok. Well after a long day finally made it here as my last store to shop to finally purchase my two white dress shirts for the wedding. I purchased Ike Behar for $49.99 with french cuffs and Alara made in Turkey for $39.99. My total bill today was $89.98. Bottom line is I have two new white dress shirts with new black Allen Edmond Italian shoes for the wedding. I am done. Love these stores, but, found I can get even better deal during store sales. I feel the inventories of this Bloomingdale's outlet are not really that great , shoes selections are especially limited. However, If you are a fan of Marc by Marc Jacobs and Rebecca Minkoff , here you might be able to find relative good selection of their bags and wallets. I will also come here to find the bargain at designer jeans ,here you can find AG, J Brand, Paige , 7 for all mankind for under $100 for a pair which is super sweet deal ! The reason I only gave it 3 stars is because i recently had really bad experience with cashier staff that was extremely rude. Really great prices here. If I were still a hugo boss fan I'd OD hard here. It's rare you find any boss button downs for less than $30, but you will here. Their 30%-70% sale, which is going on right now, makes one feel a bit uncertain. But there are plenty of price scanners to help clear up any confusion. The best value here are the cashmere sweaters. I know for many, cashmere can be seen as effeminate, but I see it as a luxury. Try a cashmere sweater on and judge for yourself. At the Bloomie's outlet, you'll find cashmere v-necks for $75 or less...amazing. If you're in the mood for dress shirts, I suggest going over to Century 21. They do carry a few mid-market brands (Behar, Abboud, Boss) but at Century you'll also find top-end designers like Valentino, D & G, and Emporio Armani. The best feature of the store is it's cleanliness. All of the racks are fairly organized and you won't see clothing strewn about like say a Marshalls. And those scanner are a great perk too. If you go at the right time armed with coupons they send you if on their mailing list, this is a great place for good-quality menswear at a deep discount. I picked up a beautiful Joseph Abboud suit for $300 and a Tumi fall-weight black outdoor jacket for $95 on recent visits. It is hit or miss, but when you hit, KA-CHING! Since it is in the same center as the Saks, Banana Republic and Nordstrom outlets, you might as well stop in while there. And get on their e-mail list. It is worth the 3x-weekly spam. read more

The worst experience ever. I went there looking for a coat. I happen to see the sunglasses section. I was with my 3 yr old son and my 73 yr old mother. We so happen to both be trying sunglasses, security was following us but not the WHITE people trying on sunglasses. She continued to follow us back and forth and while that didn't bother us at all , she asked my mom minutes later "Did you put the sunglasses back?" - End of story, corporate will be hearing about this. Not only did I feel violated she asked my 73 year old mother that but she didn't ask anyone else. If you were doing your job then you wouldn't even have to ask that unprofessional question. Bloomingdales in NYC doesn't even do this. This store was just the outlet, very unprofessional. The store employees need more training or replace the older racist security woman you had on 8/24/2019 near the sunglasses area. It's 2019, if you haven't been trained to do your job to know whether or not someone stole something without asking them then this isn't the job for you. It's time to retire or for Bloomingdales outlet to replace you. Violating loyal customers is rude and hurtful. I will be contacting corporate Monday morning. read more

Unprofessional RUDE employees. Bought a pair of ray ban sunglasses. There was an asian cashier who was rude. She said she didn't have the case for the rayban and told me to go to the sunglass department (side note: sunglass dept didn't have the case in the first place and told me to get it from the cashier). I went back to the sunglasses dept and asked a woman who was displaying raybans. She had two kind of cases (which i knew it fits in both). She tried putting the sunglasses in one of the case and it went in fine but she claims that it was too small. So I asked her to just give me the other case because i know for sure its going to fit and she asked me how would i know so i told her i have the same exact ray ban case at home and this is what she said back "then why don't you use the one at home!" I'm like wtf !! So i nicely said back to her "why should i do that? Im paying for the sunglasses and it should come with the case. This Bloomingdales needs better training. Honestly, I have never met the worst manager in my life. This manager not only yelled at me but my daughter. I went in purchased a lot and I stood on line for 20 minutes because everyone is so slow. My daughter and I finally got up and this lady (not the manager) couldn't get the sensor off. They were trying to get it off for 10 minutes, then the manager came over. The lady manager was trying for another 5 minutes and I decide that I did not want the dress anymore because this was taking to long. I asked the lady manager to please stop trying and I will just get my money back, she didn't even look at me once thru out this whole process and had the nerve of saying, Ma'am One second, one second, in a rude attitude. So I let her keep trying and finally, the Male manager comes and gets the tag off, the lady manager after said Oh so did you even pay for this, in such a rude voice. Oh, course I paid for it, why would I go through this if I didn't, I said and I also said I wanted my money back. The manager just does not listen. I came here last week and I felt so over whelmed because I had my three year old as well as my 2 month old baby, but I really needed a pair of shoes for a wedding. I ask a sales associate Shamira for help and she was great. I told her what I was looking for and my size and she went and found me several gold shoes for my occasion. Terrible customer service. They were called on my behalf at least six times today by the staff of another Bloomingdale's store, and the Bergen Town Center store never picked up the phone. Not even to say "can you hold for a minute?". I also called them directly, and through the mall office, for a total of another 4 calls, using the phone number listed on the Bloomingdale's website, and again, they never picked up the phone during their posted open hours. read more
