Decent store with something for almost everyone. This location is in the Westfield Garden State Plaza mall and is 3 floors. The layout is pretty well organized and fairly neat. Little staff interaction, but those I did interact with were friendly enough. Some items here are just nice to look at, but nothing I'd ever buy. They had records and players, but for $20 a pop for the albums - nostalgia or not, I'll pass. The clothes largely are not my style, but there's enough that should suit most. All in all, a nice store to at the very least browse in.

The concept is interesting (products from around the world) which is exactly what the name suggests. They sell a mix of food items like snacks, pasta, sauces, and other specialty products, along with home goods, furniture, rugs, and decor. It's not a huge store, so the selection feels more like a broad sampling across many categories rather than a deep selection in any one department. Pricing was the biggest drawback for me. Many items that you'd normally find at a regular grocery or home goods store were priced two to three times higher here. I'd really only recommend buying something if it's truly unique and not easy to find elsewhere. That said, I did notice some holiday items on clearance priced as much as 90% off, which is definitely worth keeping an eye out for -- you might score a great deal if you catch the right clearance section. It's a fun place to browse and see some interesting items, but it ended up being about a ten-minute visit for me.

I found some of my favorite products like British Maltesers, the pocky, Korean chips and Cocacola sodas from Asia. They also had so many other food products like popcorns, bake goods, maple syrups, tea, coffee, almost same as a grocery store. They also have a huge furniture, home goods, and Christmas products (ornaments, cookies, pies, decors) sections. All items are very organized. Though prices are a but higher since all are exported goods. We spent a long time strolling around the store. All the associates were very friendly, helping out customers with products and at the checkout.

I'll stop into this Homesense store after I've shopped at the Trader Joe's next door. I found some cute home decor and seasonal items for the winter holidays and lunar new year. I also like the furniture pieces and lighting that are featured towards the front of the store. We've been browsing around to see what would look like a good purchase for our place. Homesense had nice pieces that you can touch/sit on. So even if we do not end up not buying from there, what they have on the floor was/is a good source of design inspiration.

The emphasis here is on made in India and China furniture and furnishings -- with a decent selection of kitchenware and gadgets. No clothes, jewelry, shoes or fancy foodstuffs in this iteration of the ever evolving chain of stores owned by TJX. Homesense improves on the chaotic and frenetic merchandising practices of its relatives. In other words -- you will find the aisles logically organized with more limited and better curated selections. If you are looking for that odd off price piece -- like a sofa, chair, table, love seat, carpet or new china, this place is worth a look. As with all the other TJX retail stores, you are buying "off the floor" which means that the stuff has been sat in, handled, returned, jostled about, dinged, etc. -- so inspect carefully before buying -- especially with the higher priced furniture and carpets. Top Tip: Shares a parking lot with Trader Joe's -- which means PACKED on Saturdays. Best shopping experience is early or late -- midweek.

They rescheduled the delivery for April 3rd, and then canceled the day before as they were missing parts, I was told I would be notified within 3 days when they were able to reschedule. After hearing nothing, I called a week later and they said they would call to reschedule when they have to parts. It is now approaching the end of April and I still have not heard anything about them rescheduling the delivery. I have called to follow up multiple times. In addition to this, I also ordered a couch in March. About 2 weeks ago (early April), I realized it will be too large for my space. I called West Elm to cancel the order, as they did not allow me to cancel online. The woman I spoke to told me it would be no more than 3 days to hear whether or not my cancellation request was approved by the manager. Again, I heard nothing. When I called back today, they acted as if they had never heard that I wanted to cancel the order (now far less-likely to be canceled due to being further along in production). They again told me they would put my request through to the manager. I spent 30 minutes on the phone with someone that was able to get me no answers. I am extremely disappointed with their service. Their products are expensive, and the lack of communication and responsiveness after a sale is unacceptable.

They left the sofa in the loading area of our building, and we were forced to hire a third-party (at significant added cost) who was able to fit it into our elevator by simply removing the legs and cushions. The incompetence and lack of effort by the West Elm delivery team was beyond belief. To make matters worse, they delivered the wrong rug, installed bed frame legs on backwards, and have refused to fully reimburse me for added costs incurred. Shame on you West Elm!
