Second floor mostly has women's apparels and a huge backstage section for items on big discounts. Third floor kid's apparels, toys and home products. I found the store well lit, clean and organized. Found few tops for my daughter in the backstage kid's section of backstage. Prices were excellent, under $20 for each. We also found couple of pairs of shoes in the women's clearance section. Both pairs had over 65% discount as they were on final sale. The staff members were friendly throughout the store. They assisted with finding the size of the shoes, did quick checkout and packed all items in paper bags. Overall it had a really nice shopping experience at this store.

Except, with the predicted Saturday-into-Sunday snowstorm, we were on the clock. Forget about the Macy's in Yorktown Hgts- that place is downright depressing with no furniture dept. This Macy's, on the farthest side of the Palisades Mall is a breath of fresh air. To add, there's a huge furniture dept on the 3rd floor. We were happy. Whether you need a new statement sofa, sectional, dining table, bed frame or something small to finish your room, this location has all the pieces. Every floor in Macy's was swarming with people and clothing racks were neat AND filled. Our guy Andrew was exceptional. He didn't nag and didn't stalk us. He went above and beyond and exuded great, old-fashioned customer service from helpfulness to language to knowledge- the dude was just high-level. The atmosphere is relaxed, he took care of pricing and we left with a smile.

Prices are great compared to many other stores that sell shoes, sneakers and other footwear. Stack that with coupons and rewards from their program and you can really get amazing deals. Stop by on a weekday evening and there is no line. Besides the great prices, there really is a nice selection. If you need shoes for school, for a dance, a party, any occasion, you'll likely find something appealing here. Happy shopping!

Sometimes, I have issues with buying footwear because it might not look right for me. After having…read morebrought working shoes with a steel toe, I ended up returning them the next day because it is a bit too heavy with assurance from my mother to help me find the right shoes for me. With my parents, I went shopping at the Palisades Mall at DSW to buy working shoes for my two jobs. I looked around various brands before finding a pair of Skechers shoes with anti-slip soles. I showed them to my parents before they found me another pair from the same brand with material that allows air to circulate around my toes during the summer. All despite my reservations because as a cart attendant in one job and a concession worker in another, I run the respective risks of having my toes run over by the carts I prepare and hot liquid splashing on my feet. Nevertheless, I took the shoes as appreciation for the love my parents gave me and went to the cashier to pay for the shoes so my family and I can go to the food court for lunch. What I like about the store is because there are more options to select from the variety of shoes than in other places such as Famous Footwear and Payless. On the other hand, finding the shoes can be daunting and you'll probably have a difficult time finding a particular shoe in the right size you wear. It wouldn't matter cause there are so many options to choose from.

Located off route 59 it can be a little busy getting there but once in the strip there is ample parking and the store is never busy. Perfect for someone like me who likes to browse or when on a mission- get in and out. For those of you were haven't been to a Sierra picture a Marshall's or TJ Maxx but for outdoor active consumers (owned by same parent company). You can literally find everything from shoes to swimwear to ski gear, shorts and tees. The list goes on and on. Lots of name brands and high quality items. Water bottles, socks, skateboards and I recall seeing a kayak at some point. Point is if you are looking for anything to either wear under or over or by itself within the active bracket come here. You'll find accessories along the way. The store is clean, organized and the staff has always been very friendly. In fact since I've been coming here there are a few loyal workers who have been with me since the beginning. It's always nice to see a familiar face. And if you suddenly get hungry or thirsty or feel the need to go shopping when leaving the store you'll find an Aldi, liquor store, Petco, McDonalds, Chilis add more in the strip which is perfect.

Two cashiers at the register, one manager right next to them, line of 12 people... super long wait…read moreand super slow doing everything. What frustrated me was the lack of care (and attention) for how long the line was. The cashiers didn't even notice, or try to ring items up a bit faster. Manager moved even slower so no help there. The woman that rang me up had to switch registers due to a glitch on the computer- no problem. The speed at which she was moving, problem, because it caused the line to get backed up and people were getting impatient. She assumed my frustration was due to switching to a new register- it wasn't. It was the lack of attention from both cashiers about how quickly the line was building and adapting, aka doing your best to get people in and out. Now I don't know if this was the best they could do or if they were new but this whole experience could have been better. Instead the two cashiers chitchatted about everything under the sun, slowly typed in peoples' emails, slowly asked about signing up for a card, slowly took the tags off, and slowly packed everything into the bag. This is why Sierra has a ton of online orders- too slow when you come into the store which is unfortunate because the store has good stuff. Dear Sierra, please train cashiers to move quickly when lines are long and more importantly, having the awareness to notice that.

Then I received an email confirmation that the order was being processed. That was 7/21. The status never changed. I place a call to customer service last week and spoke with someone utterly incompetent. Today I spoke with a competent customer service person but the item is NO LONGER IN STOCK. What? I never received any notification from Chico's and it's been 21 days! Apparently, no one pulled the order and the item and the order disappeared. And there is no manager-level person to speak with for 24-48 hours. I also no longer like shopping in the stores for the reasons expressed in other reviews - I feel like I'm bothering the staff. Seems like they are solely stock clerks and no longer familiar with the inventory nor much help to customers

"Um...excuse me...but could you please get the eff out of our store?"…read more Okay nobody actually said that, but the salesladies at the Tice's Corner Chico's store sure make you feel that way. Generally they're gathered around the sales desk, clucking about someone else's wayward daughter or Jennifer Aniston's latest boyfriend... waaay too busy to acknowledge your presence. I'm not a huge Chico's fan to begin with, although I'm right in their zip code... middle-aged and a little plump. Some of the jewelry is interesting, and once or twice a year I actually find a shirt that's not sized to fit John Goodman. Most of the stuff is so "Here's some pull-on pants and garish tops to disguise your lack of waist" but it only draws attention to the problem. If you have that problem. Which I don't. Really. I don't. Everything is so very shiny and synthetic, in hideous animal prints (so edgy!) and since one trend is never enough, they usually throw in handfuls of sparkly rhinestones or "fun" beading on top of it. Their "unique" sizing system (1, 2, 3, 4) is just stupid...what's wrong with S,M,L,XL? Or even Tall, Grande and Venti? I've never actually bought anything in the Woodcliff Lake store. First of all, giraffe-print chiffon scarves went out in the '80's. And secondly, I don't want any of those gossiping gals to get a penny of commission from me. If you really want a 'Chico's kind of day' I recommend the much smaller Westwood store. It's hard to navigate (there are racks and tables everywhere) but the saleswomen are friendly and helpful. The sales are great at either store. It's definitely the place to go if you're looking for that special rayon t-shirt with a silk-screened panda on it. (Rhinestone eyes!)
