Still purchase online from time to time with $89/feee shipping but if it doesn't fit easy enough to return in the store. Located off route 59 it can be a little busy getting there but once in the strip there is ample parking and the store is never busy. Perfect for someone like me who likes to browse or when on a mission- get in and out. For those of you were haven't been to a Sierra picture a Marshall's or TJ Maxx but for outdoor active consumers (owned by same parent company). You can literally find everything from shoes to swimwear to ski gear, shorts and tees. The list goes on and on. Lots of name brands and high quality items. Water bottles, socks, skateboards and I recall seeing a kayak at some point. Point is if you are looking for anything to either wear under or over or by itself within the active bracket come here. You'll find accessories along the way. The store is clean, organized and the staff has always been very friendly. In fact since I've been coming here there are a few loyal workers who have been with me since the beginning. It's always nice to see a familiar face. And if you suddenly get hungry or thirsty or feel the need to go shopping when leaving the store you'll find an Aldi, liquor store, Petco, McDonalds, Chilis add more in the strip which is perfect.

Two cashiers at the register, one manager right next to them, line of 12 people... super long wait…read moreand super slow doing everything. What frustrated me was the lack of care (and attention) for how long the line was. The cashiers didn't even notice, or try to ring items up a bit faster. Manager moved even slower so no help there. The woman that rang me up had to switch registers due to a glitch on the computer- no problem. The speed at which she was moving, problem, because it caused the line to get backed up and people were getting impatient. She assumed my frustration was due to switching to a new register- it wasn't. It was the lack of attention from both cashiers about how quickly the line was building and adapting, aka doing your best to get people in and out. Now I don't know if this was the best they could do or if they were new but this whole experience could have been better. Instead the two cashiers chitchatted about everything under the sun, slowly typed in peoples' emails, slowly asked about signing up for a card, slowly took the tags off, and slowly packed everything into the bag. This is why Sierra has a ton of online orders- too slow when you come into the store which is unfortunate because the store has good stuff. Dear Sierra, please train cashiers to move quickly when lines are long and more importantly, having the awareness to notice that.

After browsing in here multiple times over the last few years, it seems to be the owner's decision to cater to tiny people, or else perhaps they bring in very few pieces in a true and ample 12 which sell out very fast. Yes, there were some seasonal ponchos today that would fit any size/ any height and separate tops that would work for multiple heights so long as you have thin arms and a minimal bust. Interestingly the one sales lady working today was trying hard to convince a 5 ft tall customer that the poncho was "perfect for her if she would drape it differently" and a bit of creative styling ensued. No, in truth it looked awful on this petite woman like she was trying to get out from under a big blanket. Well the customer had enough common sense to follow her instincts "this is not for me", despite urges from the saleslady to the contrary. I suspect the saleslady sensed big sale potential as many things were being tried on and talked about for Ms petite and her adult daughter as gifts. I however, was completely ignored. Meanwhile, I poked around on my own, never once asked what I was looking for, while the declassee gum-chomping saleslady catered exclusively to the other woman. While I was approached for her to take the two items I found into the dressing room, she never inquired how I was doing and even in my departing "good-bye, didn't stop talking to the other woman or bother to thank me for stopping in. Parking: I parked behind the building where the strong stench of rotted garbage permeates the air from over-filled and uncovered garbage dumpsters. Has Briarcliff no sanitation codes?

I walked in ready to spend on a holiday outfit or two at the Nanuet NY location. There was only one…read moreother male customer in the store, who was being helped by a sales associate. Two other sales associates were there, but really enjoying their personal conversation as I walked around looking lost. No acknowledgment even as I walked right past them. I somehow made eye contact with one of the women at the register. All she said to me from the register was "how are you, everything is 25% off." I smiled, took a pause and realized they have no intention of helping me, so I left and shopped at another store where two sales associates went above and beyond to help me find a holiday outfit with no mention of the deep 60% discount I would be receiving. I received an additional 15 % on text! I wasn't even shopping for a discount, so it was a pleasant surprise. Usually, this location has excellent customer service, so it was surprising. I may go back, but for the price point, would expect some level of appropriate customer service.

However, when I walked in, I was a little disappointed on the way the store displays looked. Basically, the clothes look much cuter online than in store. The visual displayment of their shirts....were hung on what looked like a clothing line. It looked a bit tacky for such cute shirts. I did find some cute stuff there..dresses, patterned socks, accessories, shoes, etc. I was loving their range of colorful and printed pants! The good thing about shopping in store is not having to pay shipping. If you can find what you are looking for online and verify if they have it in store too...then you can save yourself shipping costs. They do have cute stuff, I'm not going to lie. The prices are decent. Not as affordable as Forever 21 per se, but decent. $30 for some wedge shoes. The most expensive thing I saw was a sequin dress for $70.

We stumbled upon this store randomly when we were shopping for a friend. Since we needed dresses…read morefor our med school spring formal, we checked it out and were very pleasantly surprised. The prices are amazing - especially the sale ones - and my friend picked up a gorgeous formal dress (dark blue, pleated top, flowy sheer but still tasteful bottom with a peekaboo slip) for under $30. :O I also saw a dress that I absolutely loved (floral, flowy, loose top) but unfortunately they only had a medium. It would've only been $18 though! I'm definitely going to check out other Social Apparels in the city; I didn't have much time but I would've loved to browse more here for casual dresses, too.
