Wow, the ratings are all over the place. I've gone to this HG a couple of times recently for a home project, and needed to make repeat visits and returns. I have no complaints and I got in-and-out of the store easily each time. I thought the store was organized well. Walking through the aisles, you don't feel cramped, claustrophobic, or need to pick up products off the floor in order to get your cart through. The people working the registers are very friendly, and are pretty efficient. The wait wasn't bad for an off-price/discount department store (granted these were midday visits). There's ample parking in the shopping plaza where this HomeGoods is located also - a plus! read more

I love this place. It was so beautiful when I went inside this time with all the Christmas decorations outside. Really beautiful and amazing!! I was looking for a table cloth for Thanksgivings Dinner. For my surprise, they didn't have anything for Thanksgiving decorations. Everything was Christmas decorations. I love the store, especially around Christmas time. They have so much stuff plan so on being there a while because there's so much to look at. Prices are good also.. they also have a good selection of pet stuff. They used to have a children's section, but they don't have it anymore so a little disappointed with that. Not a great Home goods. No matter what day I go, I can hardly find parking or its really far. Everything is very messy on the shelves and on the floor, so It is hard to see things and some stuff is even dirty. I was looking at some dining chairs for my little breakfast table and the chairs had broken wooden legs. Overall I would skip out on this Home Goods and try a different one. read more

This store is hit or miss but the condition of the outside on the garbage laying around it's truly disgusting. The carts are so filthy you don't even want to put anything white or new on the bottom of them. I feel like everybody's so concerned about Covid and masks and hand sanitizer everybody forgot about the general cleanliness of your surroundings. Parking is a bit of a hassle, especially on a weekend battling w/ Burlington. I love this stores selection although it occasionally seems overstuffed and messy. If customers would learn some cart etiquette it would make the store a much more enjoyable place to shop in. Checkout is very quick and the staff is very nice and helpful. read more

I hate coming here. I love coming here. I am indifferent about coming here. Last year some gal slugged me in the parking lot during Christmas time over a parking spot. I reckon she thought my spot belonged to her, and since then, I visit this store with trepidation. It summarizes the freneticism of the very matronly looking customer base trolling the aisles at this location (the one on Route 4 near Century 21 is much larger and sports a slightly more upscale clientele and a better inventory). On the plus side, HG carries all sorts of cool stuff for my dogs at ridiculously cheap prices. Their specialty food items are gimmicky, but cool, and the stuff for the kitchen is very reasonably priced -- assuming you can find what you need on any given day. It is sort of an Easter egg hunt in that regard -- no regular stock of anything that I want -- unless I get lucky. My sweetie regularly comes here for retail therapy ... and mostly, the dogs and I keep her company. read more

Love the concept, Love the "goods" but this particular store in Paramus cannot compare to those in Passaic and Sussex Counties. Less people, better stock, and an organized assortment rather than picked over and misplaced items. Paramus is a mess and only go there when I'm crunched for time. If you love the "goods" go try the other stores in Pompton Plains and elsewhere when time allows...PS Wayne also is a mess! New store opening at the Bergen Mall in Paramus in October. Love this location and the items they offer here. It's quick and easy to pop in to grab things on the go. The store has been reorganized a few times, perhaps this is to help marketing and get you distracted to pick up more items lol. Great place and clean. Create organized and not to crowded

In the NYC immediate area, this Homegoods is flipping fantastic! It gets very crowded on Saturdays, but still manageable if you just wanna take your time browsing. I've been to the HG in Secaucus, Bergen Town Center, and NYC - this one beats them all by a long shot! It is chock full of EVERYTHING! And all at great prices! I bought a bunch of All Clad d5 (5 ply) cookware at an amazing price. Frette and Pratesi sheets, also a small fraction of the original price. I was thrilled. And that is just the tip of the iceberg as far as things I've gotten here. After all, I had to fully stock a brand-spanking new apartment. So I needed nearly everything. The store is generally well organized, but they have soooo much stuff compared to other nearby HGs, that it may seem overwhelming and cramped. Fear not! If you are prepared to wander and find what may strike your home-decorating fancy, you will realize this is the best one in the area. HG stores are definitely a "get-it-while-it's-here" type of store. So, don't think twice if you like something --- it will certainly be gone if you leave and come back later. Or - if you're lucky and it's still there, you may get it at a much cheaper price b/c they slash prices if inventory sits around for too long. read more

Always has amazing stuff. Some things like their furniture is a little expensive but everything else is usually a good buy. I love their pictures that have nice quotes on it. And their pillowwwsss !! I'm always buying pillows. They have a good clear eve section with some cool things. I usually buy the himalayian pink salt from there too. Good parking and they are right next to Burlington which I always find my way in there after. read more

Always crowded with people... and with stuff! Sometimes it's downright impossible to maneuver a cart around the store! That being said, at a store like this, you want there to be tons of stuff. HomeGoods is part of TJX, which is a really good discount retailer chain. My wife especially enjoys HomeGoods, because in addition to their usual made in China junk, they also offer some higher quality nicely designed goods from Europe including Italy, Germany, Spain and Poland and other countries. I really appreciate that, since I don't appreciate the quality of made in China goods. read more

I like this store especially for glass ware . I got a beautiful cobalt blue large Italian handmade glass bowl that was reasonably priced, its my favorite piece of glassware. There is a jumble of stuff piled all around and on top of one another throughout the store, but there can be good stuff in those messy piles! Nice framed prints and photos. I give this place location a 3.5. #1 B/c Homegoods is a wonderful place to shop for your home and gifts. HG will usually have a plethora of everything you need for: bath, kitchen, bedroom, living room, pets, and in between. #2 Homegoods prices are usually decent. I have found several gems at Homegoods including a beautiful Ralph Lauren Sofa. #3 this particular location is very busy, almost too much inventory, which can be discouraging when searching for odd ends. Also, lines can get long b/c there's a high volume of ladies (and/or their partners) and just not enough cashiers. A quick run can turn in a 10-15 minute wait in line. read more

Homegoods doesn't have as much stuff as Bed, Bath & Beyond or Linens'n'Things, but its still a fun place to peruse for random household things. read more

A great place to shop for brand name home stuff thus the name HomeGoods. They got everything from kitchen, living room, bedroom and even things for your pets. You will find familiar brand names at bargain or discounted prices. This particular store is always packed even more so on a Saturday. The employees always act like they can't be bothered with anything. When i needed help to put a big mirror into my cart/then be held upfront i got the worst attitude and then it was the same person who had to help me put it into my car. Sorry i couldn't manage it myself and that that's your job.... employees really need a lesson on being nice and respectful. Also to stop harassing people on signing up for their credit card. The cashier asked me to sign up i said i had it already bc i do, she then wouldnt stop telling me to pay with my card and not use cash when i repeatedly had to answer on why i wanted to just use cash and not accumulate a bill if i had cash. She would not stop anymore so eventually i just ignored her and stopped answering when i already said no about 5 times. Irritating as hell. Oh also she chipped the one mug i bought in front of my face, so i have to drive there out of my way this week and go return it. She told me oh its fine but got home and saw a massive chunk of chipped paint. Nice! read more

Good , varied selection of home decor and random food items. Often very disorganized and stuff is sprawled around making it hard to find things. The crazed housewives can also make shopping difficult and the staff wants to be there about as much as I do afree my wife has been shopping for a crock pot for 2 hours. read more

They are racist, they don't have any sense of respect or manners. Jeff and his staff don't know anything about protocol and retail. My friend's son was wearing a costume (part of it) i bought it three years ago and they assaulted us because allegedly they have the same costume in stock. Now the big question is, now on do we have to check the stock in HOME GOODS before going there?? just in case they have it so that way we wont be assaulted again??? Please give me a break!!!! i am in the area with my family and this homegoods in paramus is where i am at the moment .small outdoor mall with plenty of parking with a bunch of shops like century 21, bloomys, saks, , etc. this home goods is not massive like some others i have visited but they do a good job packing all the goods all over the place without being that messy . stuff for the kitchen , bathroom , living room and some food stuff international and domestic . some cool tables and chairs grabbed my attention with its slick look and reasonable prices . plenty of aisles and shelves filled with everything you need to fill up a empty home ..checkout is at the front and lines are really long but the cashiers do a good job moving it along quickly .i picked up a few cool items including a small table that folds away when not needed and a giant throw rug that will be perfect for my entrance hallway . this is the type of chain store that needs some good browsing and patience cause it's hard to leave without buying something . read more

Giving this place 1 star because of the POOR MANAGEMENT. I was SO EMBARRASSED to say that this place had this type of management running the store. I went a few days before Christmas. I believe I went on 12/23/17 during the evening. Everything was fine BUT their was a issue when I got over towards the side of the store. There was a young teen (with disabilities) sitting on one of the stores chairs that was sitting on a platform. The male manager who was working that night was just standing next to another platform of furniture. Doing nothing. Then he walked up to the kid and muttered "gotta move get up." The kid looked at him and said "But my daddy told me to sit here" it broke my heart because the kid wasn't bothering anyone and he was just on the phone playing video games. The manager then said "yeah I know but you gotta get up." The poor kid looked so confused. What's sad is I've been to plenty of HomeGoods and if your a part of the high clientele and are buying a lot of stuff you can do whatever you want. Sit wherever you want. The kid ended up moving to another chair and the manager was rearranging the furniture on that platform. I understand that you might have needed to do that as part of his job. But clearly he wasn't doing anything that night but standing around so he shouldn't have bothered the kid. He needs to be respectful. Especially to someone like this adorable child. The manager could've nicely said "Hey! I'm so sorry but I was wondering if you mind moving to another chair while I fix this section really quick!" Or anything nice but don't mutter and be rude. I love the prices and selection at Home Goods in any of their locations but hate when the products are stacked on top of each other which is a hazard and chips them. Often they don't put like with like and you find a cup from one set two aisles down from the matching dish it needs. Maybe it's the customers that do this but I think often the help just puts things away in a haphazard way. They need someone that walks around and straightens up throughout the day. read more
